The bhindi special was recommended to us and we were informed that it holds a world record for having 87 ingredients. I will agree that the combination of flavors resulted in a party in my mouth. We also tried the honey curry pizza, which had pepperoni and sausage and was more like traditional pizza with the addition of honey. Still excellent for the more traditional. The tikka masala was delicious and so was the garlic cheese naan, which I dipped in the curry. We also tried the mango and strawberry lassi. We were passing through town and got two pizzas for dinner: one cheese and one mango curry. Both were excellent. The naan crust was a nice variation, and the mango curry, cilantro, and honey all complemented each other. We ordered the cheese paneer samosas and the medium sized chicken tikka masala pizza. They don't allow you to try two flavors on the pizza. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. I was amazed by this incredible table service and our server was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor. I'm honestly not a huge fan of live music in restaurants because they're always so loud, but the live musician here was the perfect volume and was actually really good, so I couldn't be mad about it. As for the food, I love Curry Pizza in West Jordan and this location is just as good. Their pizza is always so flavorful and the bread is always cooked perfectly. We also ordered some cheese naan and sweet naan and those were also amazing. (I'm kind of obsessed with sweet naan now.) This was the best Indian food I have ever had. The food was full of flavor and everything was fresh. The Bhinda Special pizza is a must if you come here, it was delicious. We also tried the butter chicken that was so creamy and absolutely the best. The garlic Naan was full of flavor I couldn't stop eating it. The veggie Samosa had the perfect crunch and delicious flavor. I tried mango chicken korma for the first time and it was probably my favorite dish! My office is located nearby. The aroma of delicious Indian Food was so strong that we had to change our lunch plans. We ordered the Chicken Tikka, Saag Paneer, and Baigan Bhartha. The first two were excellent. The Baigan Bhartha was just so, so. The ambiance inside feels a little dark and they still have all of the equipment for a buffet. So this restaurant came recommended to us by native Rachel and thank god we had a chance to dine here at least one while we were here. If we stayed just a few days more beyond the 2 week window, for sure we would've headed back. We had dinner here on a Thursday night and we were given suggestions on what to order and for the most part we stayed on course. The big takeaway was everything we ordered was fresh and delicious!! We started off with the vegetable Samosa's and what I liked about this was it had less dough that usual samosas. Then we did the Garlic Naan which was super garlicky and super amazing!! It had a wonderful buttery taste to it! Then we split two dishes with the first being the Chicken Tikka Masala with mozzarella, bell peppers, tomatoes, green onions, jalapeños, cilantro & house seasoning on tikka masala curry! We love pizza and have our list of top locations. Everyone does it differently and we feel you can have several places on a favorites list. Well, Curry Pizza Kitchen instantly jumped onto our favorites list with just one try. The atmosphere of the South Jordan location is very exciting with great decor to remind you of their Indian curry origins (see pics), even with a traditional small Indian delivery truck. Now, I have had pizza in New Delhi with traditional Indian flavors, so I hoped that this would live up to my expectations, and yes it did! The chicken tikka masala and thai peanut pizzas were out of this world with the brilliant curry sauces and toppings. Now let's talk about crust. This part of pizza varies with some eateries having several options in one location. Personally, I like a thin crust that is almost cracker-like, but can really enjoy a thicker crust if the dough has good flavor and chewable quality. I LOVED Curry Pizza Kitchen crust and it was different than I had experienced before. It is thin, but is moist and even has a good chew to it. Fantastic! We even tried some traditional flavors of pepperoni, cheese, and ham/pineapple. My pineapple-loving mother tucked away those slices of pizza after the meal so she could enjoy the leftovers the next day without someone else swiping them. I couldn't figure out how to order gluten free over their website so they took my order over the phone. My order was ready exactly when they said it would be- in only 15 minutes. The restaurant smells really good inside. I got a cauliflower crust which had wonderful flavor and texture. The mango korma pizza was sweet and spicy and had just the right amount of cheese. Nice buffet lunch. We also ordered Butter Chicken (excellent) since it wasn't available on the buffet that day. One of the best parts was that when they made hot, fresh naan, they would offer it to our table before they put the remainder in the buffet. The Chicken Coconut Korma on the buffet was very good. The party particularly like the mango sweet rice which was new to us. Table was kept cleared and drinks filled. I need to go back and try the Saag Paneer. Service was great, place was clean and well taken care of. We got the tikka chicken Masala and tikka pizza. Pizza was sooo good. Fresh, lite, with a little spice. We both love it. The tikka masala sauce was amazing, but the chicken itself was a bit chewy and just ok. One last issue and the main reason for 3 stars, they pass on the credit card service fee without telling you until after the bill is processed and you just see it on the recipe. Not cool. Either raise the price of the food and cover that cost, or let the customer know of the extra fee ahead of time. read more
