I bought my vehicle there and the check engine light was on in a week, a tire was going flat, the brakes were failing, the steering was tricky, only one window worked, a tail lamp assembly was bad, the exhaust was on the brink of falling off and all kinds of other problems. I'm too disgusted to list all the problems. When I took it back, they wrote up an estimate that was double what I paid for the car and didn't even re-inflate the tire that they claimed was "all new." I'm lucky I'm a mechanic but most people are not. I should have checked it over better but I trusted them because they're a "dealership" and I'm totally screwed now. After this winter, I'm going to get this car in safe condition and sell it off because they won't do a thing for me. If you buy a vehicle from them, it'll be great... Until you sign your name and drive it for a week. They didn't even install my registration sticker that was sitting on the front seat. That's right, the temporary registration is still on it and I'm counting the days until I can afford to get rid of it. I've even read other reviews of people getting into accidents with vehicles purchased at this "dealership" just weeks after purchase due to a catastrophic failure, like a control arm. If I could put no stars or negative stars, that would still be too good. How many people is this business gonna screw over, injure, or even kill before they're shut down? I've already almost been in a handful of fender benders because they didn't tell me it needs all new brakes until two weeks AFTER I bought this lemon. Of course they were more than happy to sell it because the mileage exempts it from "Lemon Law." DO NOT buy from them. Spread the word and hopfully they'll be gone. Go there and ask for Steve. Ask him how he lives with himself.

My mechanic checked this oil on Thursday 6/4/26 and said it was clear meaning it was probably recently changed sometime before I took ownership at 88,686 mi. Changing this oil is also cited on Facebook and other sites as a short term fix for the grind and shudder that manifests the damaged unit. "Known issues with the 2020 Ford Escape rear differential/AWD system primarily involve clutch binding, fluid leaks, sensor failures, and inadequate factory lubrication that can cause the rear axle to seize. Many of these drivetrain problems trigger dashboard alerts or require expensive mechanical repairs".

Gotta say, unimpressed by the credit card surcharge. I disagree but understand at mom-and-pop restaurants/shops, but a CAR DEALERSHIP? How do I know it's him, because the lovely lady says Kris She's walking out the door. Maybe i was ignored because I'm fat, and ugly and the person he was helping was very pretty. Maybe it's because I have glasses, or maybe it's because I have bad credit and I wanted to go over numbers before I wasted anyone's time. Wanted a trailer hitch for my 2019 Ram. Asked for a "all-in" quote, and was told $530. I asked if that included tax, and was told "no". I said that seemed high already, and he said he would include the tax in the $530. Josh said the part would be in, in a few days. After not hearing for 2 plus weeks, I called, and was told there was a problem with the part, but they'd have it now in two days. Due to scheduling problems on my part, I called twice more, and had to remind Josh that the $530 included tax, which he did not recall. When I went in, and gave to truck to Josh for the installation, I failed to mention the tax. After the work was done, I was handed the bill. You guessed it, the tax was added on to the $530. I reminded Josh of the $530 (all-in) quote, and he pretended that it was the first time he heard of it. I was angry, and should have told him to remove the hitch, but did not. The $594 invoice still seemed high, and was told that there was a 4% credit card fee attached, which New York merchants are scrambling over to attach this fee to their customers. On the way out, I asked for the labor mark-up that Kingston Caps & Trailers charge over the parts cost, and Josh told me usually $100 for each an hour. My work took about 40 minutes. I looked at the price of the Curt trailer hitch that I just bought, and the part was $235. At $100 for labor, the cost should have been $335 plus tax. I was charged $259 over the part and labor cost that I should have been charged, or a 77% overcharge. Nice. With the disrespect and contempt some merchants treat their clientele, I have to wonder about the intelligence of the merchants. I was clearly duped by KCT here, and it is my fault for not being super careful with these guys. In the long run, however, I wonder how much damage they are actually doing to their business, with practices such as these.
