After reading the reviews here I finally feel brave enough to leave my own. I saw so many positive reviews so decided to try the butter chicken based on those, well I know that I'd never order that again much less return to this business. It was kind of bland all the way around for my taste. I don't get spicy, but it was just not memorable. I also got the samosas which were not flavorful even though they looked like they would be. I can give it another chance for the food and I usually would, except the owner made me feel so unsafe and uncomfortable while picking up my meal in the store. He felt the need to express how desperate he is for business (okay, maybe he just needed to let that out..) but then he went on to talk about how he's divorced, his teenage kids don't speak to him (I said well don't stop trying to have a good relationship with them) and he responded with Ehh, I want to get remarried and have more kids. This man is like 50, and it felt like he was testing the waters with me by mentioning all this. He also felt the need to brag about how he's running this all by himself and still goes to the gym everyday. I had my baby with me and he complimented her saying how beautiful she is and how she looks just like me. I responded how she looks just like my fiance, her daddy. After getting the food I hurried up to my car and got my baby in there safely while checking to see if he would be coming behind me or something. Once I get home, the food looks good and I was excited but let down by the taste. I was eating my meal when I get a text message from the owner (COMPLETE INVASION OF PRIVACY). He got my phone number bc I called my order in. He sends a long text about leaving a google review, how he works hard on the food and how he goes to the gym everyday and attached a link to a YouTube video of him working out (??? Wtf). I wish I had saved the messages but honestly it just made me even more concerned that he was texting me after already making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend the food, but I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend the establishment based on my interaction with the owner.

Food is great, and the service is amazing. I would definitely recommend it. I will be back!

Sorry but I couldn't give it more stars. I was really hoping to find a good Indian restaurant in Humble. Restaurant ambiance is not great. The food is far more of what I've been eating around Houston area. Chicken masala to butter chicken we asked for spicy and they are not even medium spicy. Indian food is well known for it's spiciness but this is nothing compare to it. To top it all, we got serve on plastic silverware and plates. Lol seriously, please don't use the COVID excuse for not having the regular plates. I've been to numerous restaurants during COVID time and they don't do that.

Their poor excuse for Tandoori Chicken. Tough, dry, and not worth eating.
    Mark R.

Easily the worst Indian food I've ever had. Very poor excuse for Tandoori chicken. Non-traditional and very dry grilled chicken breast slices. The picture says it all. Sadly, I ordered it with extra meat. The naan was very good. In addition to the food and service reviews you should take a minute to review the owner's condescending responses to poor reviews here.

Came here on my way to just find some food saw Indian food had to try it. It by far the best Tiki Masala I ever had in my life. Everything is perfect and can be an issue because its too good I will be here often at the distress of my bank! Food is perfect, texture amazing, medium heat is tangy and flavorful. I highly recommend this place can't recommend it enough

A must for Indian food. Their butter chicken is flavorful. I love that sauce!! Their garlic naan is so soft and yummy. I highly recommend. A local secret in Humble. Come try it!

(This is my opinion though as every meal I tried was spicy) but non the less they were delicious. Wonderful and helpful staff and great portion sizes. Things to definitely try is first the mango lassi drink! Delicious!!! Don't knock until you've tried it! Then the burnt garlic fried rice with dynamite chicken or the chicken tikka masala also enjoyed the lamb masala. Their menu is a mixture of fusion and traditional Indian foods. The only thing I didn't enjoy that much was two of their deserts, the gulab jamun which is like donut holes soaked in sugar, it was overly sweet for me and then the gajar ka halwa which was like a sweet potato desert. Everything else was tasty and delicious and I truly had a great dinner.

It was pretty good, though the exterior seasoning was a little too smoky for my taste. It like eating a crumbly tofu wonton dumpling that's been pan fried as it was slightly crunchy. The Sichuan fried rice with chicken was tasty and is a good dish to taste a version of basmati fried rice. We tried sitting in one of the booths, but it was very chilly.

We ate our hearts out and enjoyed every dish we ordered. We started with goat bone soup which took me back to my childhood when we used to eat at the dhabas on the highways during our family trips. It tasted exactly the same, peppery spicy and delicious! We also had veg kal dosa, cut mirchi and gongura mutton curry. Cut mirchi was so delicately made and it melted in my mouth. Dosas were great with the gongura mutton. The quantities were generous and prices were reasonable for the quality. Service was awesome! I am officially jealous of the people who could eat this food whenever they want to.

Here's the summary: Subpar Food - Entirely lacked authentic flavor; tandoori chicken arrived lukewarm (tasting microwaved), and "extra hot" korma had zero spice or taste. Inattentive Service - Required flagging down staff just to place an initial order. Hidden Charges - Unlabeled table water bottles were covertly billed without prior disclosure. Questionable Payment Practices - Staff demanded blind payment on a card reader, refusing to show an itemized bill beforehand until insistence forced them to cancel the screen. If you'd like to know more: The food lacked any authentic flavor or expected preparation. The tandoori chicken, usually served sizzling on a hot plate (my experience at other Indian restaurants), arrived lukewarm, tasting as though it had simply been microwaved. Both the korma and the dishes requested at an "extra hot" spice level were entirely devoid of flavor and heat. Service was equally disappointing, requiring us to flag down a waiter just to place an initial order. Compounding the poor experience, two bottles of water left on the table were billed at $1 each without any prior disclosure or mention from the staff. Most concerning was the payment process: the waiter presented a card scanner with a total, refusing to provide an itemized bill beforehand and stating we could only see it after paying. (Only after insisting did the waiter cancel the payment screen so I could review the charges). Between the subpar food, inattentive service, and questionable billing practices, this establishment feels shady and untrustworthy. I cannot recommend it and will not be returning.

The moment I walked through the door, the smell alone had me questioning why I hadn't ordered anything for myself. I walked up to the counter, gave them the name on the order, and boom the food was in my hands. I truly appreciate a restaurant that respects to-go times, and they absolutely nailed it. While exiting, I noticed they also offer a lunch buffet from 11-2:30 which immediately caught my attention for a future visit. Now comes the dangerous part. The kids opened their containers of butter chicken with rice and spicy aloo, and my mouth instantly started watering. The portions were generous, and I found myself asking the same question over and over...**Why didn't I order anything?!** Curiosity officially got the best of me, so yes... I stole a bite. Actually... maybe two. The butter chicken was incredibly flavorful with a rich, creamy sauce that had me wishing there was another container with my name on it. But the real surprise for me was the spicy aloo. I'd never had potatoes prepared quite like that before, and they completely stole the show. I wanted that entire side for myself. Needless to say, next time I'm not just picking up food for the family I'm ordering my own meal too. This visit was more than enough to convince me I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu.

I know of another location, but this is not to take away business for one restaurant, but to help encourage this one to lean more into its authentic flavor. Even if that means moving locations because your demographic may not care for it. I had chicken Biryani (safe for an American) but the chicken was dry and with minimal flavor. The rice lacked flavor. The raita was ok, if you like everything blended together. The onions and lime/lemon you might usually have on the side was not offered with this.
