They give a 2 hour window and have not shown up now twice. Last time they called back hours later and did come. This time now again they are a no show no call. I called up and Jose said he would call back and now no one is answering the phone. Very unprofessional. Why give a window if you can't make it in that time frame? We've been using Curt's for months to groom our two French bulldogs. Up until today I would have given them 5 stars. A great groomer named Kai would take good care of our dogs and they were always well groomed after each appointment. He spent about 45 minutes on each dog which was $80 per dog for a total of $160. Today, a different groomer came. She arrived after the appointment window that was from 10am-12pm and then spent about 15 minutes bathing and grooming each dog. The dogs weren't clean after. When I contacted the company for support, a nice person named Matt said he'd look into the issue and follow up. He reached back out and offered a free de-shedding service. I explained that $160 for 15 minutes of grooming per dog that resulted in unclean dogs wasn't okay and that I'd like a refund or credit toward a future grooming appointment. He came back again with a $40 credit. I canceled my future appointments with Curt's and will find a new groomer. They don't have well-trained, consistent groomers and don't know how to make it right when they mess up. UPDATE: Curt (or someone acting as Curt) replied here about the resolution they offered today. So here's the update from my end: customer service Matt called after I left this review, he told me it was his day off but he wanted to personally follow up. He reminded me that I had asked for a partial refund and wanted to confirm if I wanted a full refund. I reminded him of the experience I had. He offered the full refund and I accepted. He also offered to make sure we always get our favorite groomer if we were to book again. I just don't understand why I had to post a negative review to get them to do the right thing? Our two dogs have such bad anxiety when it comes to grooming, as a dog mom, I felt anxious every time leaving them at the groomers, especially for 4-5 hours at a time. We have a maltipoo who needs constant grooming every month due to his matted fur, and a Husky Malamute who sheds like no tomorrow. Magically, a Curt's Grooming Mobile rep appeared at our front door- literally a DAY before the dogs grooming appointment at a different location. I was looking for a mobile grooming service for so long, every other mobile service seemed to not be accepting new clients due to their overbooked schedules. We booked our first appt on the spot, they arrived exactly on time and now it's our 5th grooming service with Curt's Grooming!! The boys absolutely love it, my heart is at ease since they're right outside my door. Not to mention, they finish each dog within 1-2 hours. So no more waiting in a cage for mom to come pick them up! We got Sam as our groomer during our first visit, and always booked with her ever since. She is so great with our dogs, they are nervous around strangers but they absolutely love Sam. She's ALWAYS on time, she sends me cute videos during their grooming sessions. My maltipoo has never looked so round and fluffy and our house is so much cleaner with our monthly husky's deshedding appointments!!
