I'm relocating and simply trying to end my membership, but I cannot cancel in person, over the phone, or online. Instead, I'm required to send an email and wait for a response--or send a certified letter. Really? Moving is already stressful and time-consuming. I should not have to spend hours making calls, sending emails, or wondering whether someone somewhere received my cancellation request. Meanwhile, I'm still responsible for membership charges during another 30-day notice period. The cancellation process should be simple, clear, and accessible. Most importantly, these requirements should be explained before customers sign a membership agreement--not when they are already trying to leave. Please be more transparent with your members from the beginning and make cancellation as easy as signing up.

I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. If I continue to get stopped at the front desk for my fake bill automatically generated from blocking them from charging my credit card account, I will file a complaint at the Federal level. This helps with future claims, research by class-action lawyers and fines against 24 Hour. It does not help me get my refund owed. In the meantime, I continue to recommend not using their Personal Training service until they can stop scamming their clients.

My friend and her trainer have both signed up for one month at a different Gold's Gym and didn't get charged this extra fee, which is why they blindly trusted this one. On entry, everything was clean and beautiful. The Black Card lounge is awesome, and the way they have everything set up feels unique compared to other locations I have visited. The treadmills and running equipment all look brand new, modern, and high end. They even have equipment and recovery machines I have never seen before, including this cryo chair that honestly looks futuristic and cool as hell. The whole gym has a modern feel to it. Everything is neat, organized, and easy to navigate. The bathrooms were spotless, which says a lot about how well this place is maintained. I am already a Planet Fitness member, and one of the things I love most is being able to go to locations all over, but this Vancouver location really pops compared to others I have been to. If you are in Vancouver or around Orchards, definitely come check this place out. It is modern, clean, well designed, and easily one of the nicest Planet Fitness locations I have visited.
