I show up to pick up the car and I see many bubbles on both tail lights. Employee told me to leave it out in the sun and they'll go away. I waited a week( parked in the sun almost every day) and they were still there. I went back and they told me they would do it again( for free). This time it took them over 3 hours due to only having 1 employee working that day, and when I got the car the tail lights still had bubbles. I recommend not coming to this place. read more

I found them on Yelp, seen the reviews were amazing ! So I decided to give them a call on Friday. Re: plasti dip. He told me to go in Monday. So I did, he told me it would be about 2 hrs. Which lasted a tad bit longer. Which is fine. Once I arrived to pick up my car (2016 Infiniti Q50) I was instantly satisfied ! They did an amazing job. He explained to me how to properly take care of my rims so that I'd get the best outcome for my services. Also he told me a couple of things I could do to my car in the near future. Brought my '21 Ford Bronco in to get upgraded speakers throughout. Long story short, if you want cheap installation, already have the equipment you want installed (speakers, amp, sub, etc.) and know exactly what you want (i.e. you have an audio background/expertise) then this is the place for you. If you aren't an audio expert or want some opinions/input on what you should do for your system then don't waste your time. I was trying to figure out what would be the best direction to take my sound system and felt rushed when I dropped it off to hurry up and make a decision about what to do. These guys charged me $360 for a $170 amp and said the extra money on top was for "overhead because I have to make a living and for the warranty." Lesson learned for me for agreeing to it but be careful because this company will take advantage of you if you aren't an audio expert. They used the cheapest RCA cables to install the amp. I felt rushed when I went to pick it up after they spent all of 5 minutes tuning it when I arrived. The sound system was definitely louder than when I brought it here with the original speakers but the quality of the sound was only marginally better and they did just an okay job tuning it. 1 star for installing the speakers, 1 star for cheap installation at $30/speaker, but you get what you pay for. Another shop tuned the amp this place installed and it's a lot better more quality sound at higher volumes than what this place did. I'll be going back to the other shop to finish my sound system. Tried to support a local small business. Big Mistake. I bring my car in because of a rattle in the area of a speaker. Asked the manager if it is the speaker, or the door panel. Manager (the expert) said speaker. Agreed to Replac speakers, paying exorbitant markup. $45 speakers. $160 total. Ok I say, I'm supporting a small local business. Supposed to take a hour. Come back in 1.5 hours and they haven't gotten to the second side of the car, and the one door panel is off. Manager says the door panel is damaged. Well, well. And old speaker is "damaged". I'm now running late to my next appointment because they have taken longer than they stated. I order an Uber. Tell the manager I have to go. I order an Uber. Manager says it will take 5 minutes to put in both speakers. 5 minutes later, both speakers are in (wow...what happened for that 1.5 hours?). New speakers are terrible, worse than my original speakers and there is still a rattle in the door, misdiagnosed from the beginning. Go back and ask for my money back and put my old speakers back in, or put in some decent speakers with a decent frequency response. Manager wants to charge me for upgraded speakers difference, AND more labor. Where I have already spent over $100 for 5 minutes of labor, that he stated. Avoid. read more

I took my 2012 Countryman Mini Cooper to Custom Car Audio in Inglewood to have the chrome trimmed parts of the car to be plastic dipped black. My rep Hector, who I have to say was not just friendly and honest about the work but extremely knowledgeable, and when it was all said and done, the end results far exceeded my expectations. They did a fantastic job in a reasonable amount of time. Installed a basic sub woofer and installed a clean stock finish in the rear boot compartment. I would completely entrust family, friends and others to this establishment. I visited CCA on 06/23/13 to discuss having a set of door poppers & modules installed in my car. I was told that I should leave the car over night for morning inspection. The next day on 06/24/13 I was given a price for parts & labor, in which I paid in full. I was told the job would take a week to complete in its entirety. On 06/30/13, I got a phone call from the manager telling me my car was 1/2 way done & come by the shop. I came in, spoke to the installer who told me that the door poppers had been successfully installed. When I asked for a demonstration, he said "I need you to buy a new battery for your car because the doors won't work without it". "Also, if I didn't replace it now, the one I had would blow up". I was a bit surprised because my car had been inspected not even 30 days prior & according to my mechanic, everything was fine. Alarmed, I did exactly as instructed & purchased a new one the next morning. On 07/01/2013 I delivered the new battery & watched him install it. The doors didn't work & they still don't work today. I'm locked out of my car frequently. He then told me he needed to do some trouble shooting & would get back to me in a couple of days. Instead, my car was shelved on & off over the next 3 months; while CCA concentrated on new business. Though the windows were made electric in exchange for the delay, they cost me money & caused some damages. CCA cost me car rental fees, batteries for my car & remote that weren't needed, future cost for the repair of a dent located on the front pass door, cost for fabric replacement on both pass & driver door panels(screws used to affix panels; clamps should have been used) & cost to have alarm/remote start rewired (features no longer work). CCA is aware of this. In September, Ice told me the job could not be done w/o a $700 alarm upgrade; I said "no". They should have realized that during inspection & told me sooner. After having my mechanic act as mediator & getting nowhere; he gave up & picked up my car on 09/20/13. I have filed a complaint with BBB and am now waiting on a response. I wasn't surprised to learn that there were two other recent complaints filed. One closed and one with no response from CCA. Also, beware of the fact that they use the shop for paint on occasion. I saw this with my own eyes so it's not slander. The installer, tapes a blue tarp to the ground and sprays, right there in plain view. He was spraying a truck white. On another occasion, I saw car parts being spayed red. I insisted that my car be moved until they were done. Don't be blind sided by how friendly the staff seems... DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE!!! save yourself the headache... i wish there had been a review for me to read back in June. Hope this helps someone... read more
