I also had a kitchen remodel where the flooring people allowed water to seep in and the floor was damaged a year later (but it was too late by then and I could not get it replaced). These are OTHER experiences I am comparing to so you understand HOW GOOD JAMES IS. To-date, the carpet on my stair well is still flawless (this is now years later). And the the luxury vinyl plank James recommended are still my favorite in both color and quality. There have been zero issues. When we requested a quote, we made sure to include furniture moving, and it was absolutely worth it. They moved everything so quickly yet carefully, ensuring nothing was damaged in the process. Even better, they put everything back exactly as it was, making the entire experience stress-free. One of the most impressive things was how efficiently they completed the project--just four days! They started on Monday morning by moving all the furniture and doing the demo. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent leveling the floors (where we couldn't step on it), and by Thursday evening, our new floors were installed, cleaned, and our furniture was back in place. The whole process was smooth, well-organized, and on schedule. The reason our previous LVP floors were chipping was due to an uneven subfloor, which AC Flooring identified and properly leveled. Now, we can truly feel the difference--a much more solid and sturdy floor that feels built to last. We also went with their recommended flooring supplier, and though it's only been a few days, we can already tell that this floor is of much better quality and durability. One thing we really appreciated was how thorough they were with cleaning up after installation. They vacuumed and even mopped the floors before putting the furniture back--such a thoughtful touch that not all contractors do! The only minor things we wish we had known earlier: - Since we were reusing our existing baseboards, we didn't realize we'd need to hire a painter to touch them up afterward. Brandon did recommend a painter, which was helpful, but in hindsight, we wish we had this done before the furniture was moved back to avoid having to shuffle things around again. - We also expected to keep some extra planks, as we did with our previous flooring installation. However, this time, we were told most of the leftover pieces were damaged and unusable. While we saw them take all the planks out of the box during installation, a suggestion for the future would be to reuse more of the cut pieces in other areas to minimize waste. Aside from these small things, everything else was absolutely top-notch! Brandon is such a nice guy--easy to talk to, professional, and truly cares about his work. We highly recommend AC Flooring and are so happy we found them. While I hope I won't need new floors anytime soon, if I ever do, I'd hire Brandon and his team again in a heartbeat. I received an immediate canned response that clearly wasn't based on anything I wrote or the photo I submitted. It even included a note about ignoring outreach from other companies. The next message invited me to call Joshua Diaz-Blanks, so I did. My call went to voicemail, I left a message, and I never heard back despite calling during their posted business hours on Saturday. Before they closed on Saturday, I texted Joshua. His response was that his grandmother was in the hospital and might not make it. I was sympathetic, offered prayers, and told him we could reconnect Monday or later if he needed more time. Then nothing. No follow-up, no update, no communication at all. On Monday, I walked into Banner Carpets on Artesia instead and purchased what I needed. It was a small $1,300 job, but small jobs add up and reliable service matters. This was handled very poorly, Joshua. I truly hope your grandmother recovers, and if her time is up, I wish her peace. But using a family emergency to excuse basic lack of communication is not professionalism. At some point, adulting is tough, but following through on what you promise is part of running a business. Spent a long time researching which flooring to get to replace a 25 year old laminate in our…read morekitchen. Found one by Karndean which seemed perfect. Elite was listed on their website as a local dealer and they got excellent reviews on yelp. So we went to the store and met with Robert. He spent good time with us to show us lots of things to consider. We wanted a larger sample of the one from karndean which he ordered along with a couple others. Sample came within a week and we took it home and made our choice to go with our original pick. Robert came out and measured and gave me a really good quote for the product and installation. Normally I shop around and did get one other quote, but I let AI do some research for me and I know his price was excellent and the service we got from him made it the easy choice. We needed to have transition pieces to match our vynyl laminate wood plank in the adjoining room that this would butt up against, and were having trouble finding that. Robert asked for us to bring in a sample which we had of our planking and he actually had a trim piece made to order with a color match that worked perfectly. So lots of prep work on his part to make sure it would all go well. The installation was scheduled within a week of getting the trim piece in. It was a 4 man install team and the lead guy ( forgetting his name) was really great. You could tell he knew his stuff and we were being fussy customers. My wife is very keen to make sure that patterns of the terrazzo floor didnt look repeated or in a weird pattern so he happily worked with her to move pieces around till she was happy. He cut certain ones and not others based on what she wanted and then marked them in with tape and order number so the guys knew where it all went together like a puzzle with a guide. Im sure they can do a good job without the micro managing but its also good to know they were happy to have us be involved and had no attitude about it (which I have gotten from some other contractors). so thats a big plus in my book. They were really good on the old sub floor prep, cleaning , sanding and putting a new thin coat layer on the entryway area which had plywood so make sure it was all level. They did this the right way and you could tell. And the new floor is SO much quieter than the old one and it doesnt have any extra backing. Turned out to be a great choice. The whole install job came out perfect. They got new oak 1/4 round to match our oak cabinets and did perfect measurements, cutting, sanding and sealing on them all. Guys were super clean during and after as it took an an extra 1/2 day to do. But all really turned out fantastic. So glad to have a place that is local, and knows what they are doing and the prices seemed in good and line with what I was looking for. highly recommend you check them out for your flooring needs and they do countertops too.

I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect when I began the project. The flooring at the house was quite worn in places and had the older orangey finish that was popular in yesteryear. Over the course of a few days, Eldon completely transformed the flooring in the house. Worn spots were sanded back into new. Eldon recommended a Bona Natural finish which brightened up the floor which in turn has made the entire house brighter. He also took the time to drive all over town to find the precise sized wood to fit one plank of wood that been overly damaged over the years. I texted Paul some pictures, and he was able to give me a quote over the phone. Once I agreed to move forward, he got me scheduled pretty quickly. Luis came out and explained what needed to be done. Since the original composite floor panels are no longer made, he had to cut individual pieces of white oak to match the exact size and keep the original look of the panels. You could tell a lot of time and care went into it. After carefully piecing everything together, he sanded and finished it to match the original color of the floor. Honestly, when it was done, I could not tell the difference. The repair blended in perfectly with the original floor. Really impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail.
