I had cameras and horns installed in my minivan. Bernie and Jacob could not have been nicer. In this day and age of people just not listening to what you are saying and delivering only what they want to, Custom Car Works was just the opposite. In order to fit the horns under the hood, the whole front clip had to be removed. They did it without a desperation phone call trying to get extra money. They did the work and showed me a picture afterwards. What a good job and what turned out to be a big one. Hats off to all the guys there. The best. They know what they're doing technically, and they're honest and won't overcharge you. When I came there with a malfunctioning head unit, Bernie and his team worked hard to save it rather than immediately trying to sell me a new one. I'm the one who had to insist we give up on the old one and install a new one, and even then Bernie suggested a budget unit and didn't try to upsell me. You can trust this shop. read more

Cons: Service was in no way prompt Not courteous Disorganized Not true to their word. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. I drove 40 minutes to this location for a tint and arrived 10 minutes early to my app only to wait around for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me... Im a 6'2" 200 lb guy and no one even spoke to me... Finally we are now 10 minutes into my appointment time and I tell the guy what I made the appointment for... A five window tint with ceramic tint. Which I was already agreed to and promised over the phone by Burnie who was working at the time. And know the new guy says that they don't have ceramic.. Haven't had it for weeks. And that my car.. A mazda3 is actually a 7 window car because of the small 2x4 windows in the back count as regular sized windows and will be charged extra as such..... So I was told one thing of the phone and then something else in person. I was expected to drop $300 dollars for this... If you can't even greet me properly after 20 min in the lobby... I highly recommend Custom Car Works. They squeezed me in their busy schedule since I was so excited to get this install done the day after I leased my new SUV. The shop was clean. Everyone was very friendly. I had a DVD player/entertainment system with 10 inch screen installed in my new SUV. Such a quality installation. The owner showed me step by step how to use the DVD player with all of the fancy options available. I am going back next week to have an HDMI cable installed so my son can watch You Tube on our TV screen. I am one happy mom since my son is so pleased with our new entertainment system. Buyer beware. I recently had a stereo system installed here. The owner is very shady. He sold me what he had in inventory. Rather than what I told him I wanted. He is more concerned about getting rid of his old inventory. Than making a stereo matched to the amp. The speakers were under rated. I asked for more powerful speakers so they would not blow. They did blow. Another 200.00$ later. I still don't trust my system. Don't make the same mistake. These guys don't know what they're doing. Or may be they just want to keep taking advantage of people. read more

I had a problem with my car radio so, on the recommendation of another shop, I brought my car to be diagnosed. The shop was unable to diagnose the problem. At an appointment at my dealer, I asked them to check out the radio and the problem was resolved. read more

Don't let the location or subtle outside appearance deceive you.. These guys know what they're doing and that my friends is all that matters. I had 1 so called "expert" at Brandsmart who claimed he had 23 years experience as an installer, put a new stereo in my car. However it did not work because as he claimed, the wiring harness and/or amps were bad. He even showed me amps on e-bay for sale. I then paid a 2nd so called "expert", near Sandlefoot, $90.00 to evaluate the system and I needed to leave the car all day.. And while he did get it to work by changing a ground wire, there was still a constant humming. He also claimed the amps were bad. His fix lasted 4 days before the stereo stopped working again.. I then installed 2 amps myself and that did not do it. When I returned to the guy at Sandlefoot, he too claimed the wiring and amps were bad and that he could rewire the car and put in a new amp and all for just $750.00. I politely declined his offer. That is when I found the guys at C.C.W.'s As it turned out, neither one of these experts knew anything about the factory installed system in my car. The guys at C.C.W. took only 2 hours to figure out that the amps were not the problem. They installed the proper connectors, a resister or 2 and bingo.. the stereo works great, The humming is gone, there's great sound again and only $170.00 .= 1 Happy customer.. I would definitely use CCW again and can highly recommend Bernie and the guys without hesitation. read more

Every time I go into this place I swear it will be my last. Went into get 1 fog light fixed It was charged $90 owing to leave and it not be fixed. Went back the next day and they do not have time to fix it we're back the following day and was told that the new ballasts that I just got from them could be cut to hardwire them together and that should fix the problem. So they cut into my brand new ballast and hardwired the fog light and it still did not work the next day. Since then I have given up on it, and the shop. Keep my money but you have lost me as a customer, I will go somewhere where things get done. read more

We brought our new SUV to have the front windows tinted. They did an excellent job in a timely fashion. We then scheduled an appointment to have them install front and rear sensors which the dealer told us were not standard equipment on our SUV. Bernie told us that we would need to leave the vehicle there for five hours or so to complete the job. Within an hour of dropping the car off, we received a call from John that our vehicle already had the sensors installed at the factory and explained to us that they were simply not engaged. Although, they could have easily charged us, for "pretending" to install the equipment, we were truly impressed with their honesty and integrity in telling us that there was no charge because the equipment was already installed. Kudos to John, the installer and Bernie, the owner, for making our day. We would not hesitate to recommend them for their professionalism, knowledge, integrity and spotless facility. read more

I was referred by a friend who was very pleased with the stereo and GPS equipment she purchased there. When I recently purchased a new car she told me they were very nice and I should consider window tinting. I was able to get a quick appointment. The waiting area is very comfortable with a good TV you can use as desired. Less than one and a half hours later my Q60S was fully tinted. I chose the darkest tint which is very comfortable for my vision. Several weeks later I have notice no flaws and am extremely pleased with the quality, price, convenience and service.
