This product saves my life every day! Is the product expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Completely. It's approximately $250 for about 8 oz. I can walk the grocery store, do errands and shopping as long as I use it first on my knees, legs and lower back. It lasts about 6 hours. Without this cream I wouldn't be able to buy groceries alone. Also, that one bottle is enough for 6 months. Each place you apply will an amount the size of a tack. I use for arthritis too. I've been using it about 10 years. Our family has used this pharmacy many times before but today, one of our kitty cats got prescribed a pain medication at the end of the day from her vet, and this pharmacy is going above and beyond to fill it same day. They have a niche and do things that the big chain Pharmacies don't and specialize in compounding medications for Humans and pets. It's a small store and during Covid you needed to call in your prescription ahead of time. They are on time and make the process easy. I know it's years out but, there is a proposal by the new owners of the market place to knock down the the south end ie. Raley's supermarket to develop condominiums. My son has special needs and one of his medications he will only take in liquid form. Monthly I am scrambling to refill, but every time I call Custom Care Compounding they are able to refill next day or once in an hour! My dog was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and had been suffering for almost 9 months. We were close to having to put her down but finally found a medicine that could cure her. Unfortunately the vet told us it would be difficult to find. I was determined to find it. I went to all the major pharmacies in town. No one had it in stock because it's not a common medicine. One pharmacy I went to said they could order it while others couldn't even order it for me. They quoted me over $2,000!! I was willing to do it but I wanted to give independent pharmacies a try as well. I called so many and none would order it. Then finally as I was about to give up I called Custom Care Compounding pharmacy. I spoke to Chloe who was super helpful and friendly. She answered all my questions and not only were they willing to order and make it into a syrup form I needed it cost me $45 a month!!!! Wow!! I told them how urgently we needed the medicine when I dropped it off Thursday. They said they would rush it and should be ready by Monday. I got a text next day on Friday that it was ready. When I went to go pick it up, I didn't have to deal with the usual long lines at a local big pharmacy. Also everyone I dealt with were very friendly and pleasant. Chloe stood out the most. The nice lady at the counter explained that this pharmacy specializes in custom prescriptions, not the typical type of prescription. That means something that you need uniquely compounded or customized for you. Keep in mind that this business does not fill the regular type of prescription--only customized prescriptions. The pharmacy sells quite a bit of other merchandise, such as CBD oil, skin care products, and even yoga equipment! There are sampler bottles of the skincare products on the counter for customers to try. I found it fun to just browse around the shop, checking out the variety of merchandise.
