    A worm

Have all feed or pellets inspected. I wouldn't like any animal to be fed bad food. Now I have to take my bunnies to the veterinary to get check out.

This pet store is fantastic my and my mother dropped by to buy crickets and while buying them we looked around in awe they're was such a wide variety in f animals frogs, insects, arachnids, reptiles, mammals, etc the animals enclosures are natural and clean they're properly fed and taken care of the staff/ employees were so helpful and informative giving us fun and accurate information on the animals while we were there Another thing about this pet store is they take in animals that were given up by there but seeing them at the store they look so good and happy and the prices!! They are fantastic half the price they usually are at pet stores just a few crickets cost us 50 cents!! I will definitely be coming back give this place some love!!!

Rat died two days after I bought it! Boe wouldn't eat it but he'd literally slither away from it!

WARNING TO ALL REPTILE LOVER!!! This place is TERRIBLE. This place shouldn't be open, they'll sell you sick reptiles and sick rodents but will take all your money knowing this info. The employees or "family" should be ashamed of themselves. I only had my snake for about a month before he passed!! They yet still have been selling sick rats as food! Do not go here unless you're literally trying to kill your pet.

    Dead frog

If I could give zero stars I would, Everytime I have gone to this store which isn't often there is a dead reptile that I have to notify the workers about. First time was a chameleon second time was a gecko, and the third was a frog. Everything's beyond over priced compared to breeders and other reptile shops in the area. Not to mention the last time I went in the girl with short dark hair was beyond snobby. I came in for food for my Australian stick bugs food, as usually the guys give me some plant they have growing in the back for free. She told me to go somewhere else and get eucalyptus. Another guy stepped in and went to the back and got me some politely. They also have awful husbandry, especially for the rabbits and Guinea pigs that they keep in TINY enclosures with no hay. I'll attach a picture of the dead frog below as well as a tiny cage they kept this big boy in.

A few of my favorite creatures I encountered were the anoles, the rhino iguana, Chinese water dragons, aquatic plants, and tropical fish.

The reason for my lower rating is solely based on how the axolotls were housed. I'm not an axolotl expert, but I have read that they can temporarily be kept in small containers as long as the water is changed daily. However, how long are they kept in these containers? That said, seeing them in small containers on shelves near insect and lizard food felt sad and uncomfortable. It reminded me of how betta fish are often displayed in big pet chain stores. From what I've learned, axolotls do best in individual aquarium tanks with cycled, filtered water. I understand that retail space and logistics can make that challenging. An employee did mention they move them once their tail reaches the end of the container, but I'm sure that meant they move them to a bigger container. The water did look clean, so I'm hoping they're receiving frequent full water changes. I truly don't mean this as an attack -- it just made me sad. I came here with family while visiting from California, so not sure if selling them this way is common since they're illegal to own in CA. They're such unique and delicate creatures, and I wish their setup reflected that a bit more. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because overall it really is a neat store!

But still took time out to speak to my son & I. The store was clean, had a plethora of predators and reptiles. Had a kitchen where they made food. Tons of supplies. It was one of the most beautiful stores for reptiles in the Phoenix Valley. They had quite a bit of staff that were all very busy. Very cool had one of the largest terrariums with a 14ft snake.

Earlier today, I called to ask if they had male veiled chameleons in stock. The employee put me on hold for a couple of minutes, came back, and confirmed they had "a couple" available. A few hours later, my boyfriend and I drove out to the store specifically for that reason. When we arrived, the same employee was immediately unfriendly and gave us attitude the entire interaction. We asked again about the male veiled chameleons, and she again told us they had them in stock and directed us to the back. My aunt also asked about jumping spiders, and the employee responded with the same rude attitude while showing them to us. After checking the reptiles, we spoke with another employee who was actually very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained that they DID NOT currently have any male veiled chameleons available and wouldn't be getting more until next week. He gave us detailed information and was polite the entire time. The issue wasn't just the misinformation, it was also the employee's behavior throughout the visit. She repeatedly stared at my family in an uncomfortable and rude way while we were speaking with other staff members, and every interaction with her felt dismissive and hostile. What's especially frustrating is that this is the same employee who previously sold me a snake and provided me with incorrect husbandry information at the time of purchase. Before visiting the store, I had already done research on the snake I was getting, and later realized that much of the advice I was given was the opposite of what the snake actually needed. Thankfully the snake itself has done well, but inaccurate care information can seriously affect the health of reptiles if customers don't know any better. I understand everyone has bad days, but this is now my second negative experience with the same employee. It's disappointing because behavior like this reflects poorly on the business and does not create a welcoming or professional environment for customers, especially compared to the much more helpful service provided by the other employees I've interacted with.
