AZ Bird store also offers a wide variety of birds available for adoption, from wee little hand fed babies to adults. They also offer boarding, DNA, and more! I have also noted that they have options to meet most budgets, including used/gently used cages, financing via an outside lender (OAC). This is very much of a family-style business that takes pride in getting to know each customer and your bird. They have bird club meetings hosted monthly for those interested in learning more. They also host get togethers monthly for socializing with others who enjoy birds too. Of course my favorite part is that birds are always welcome. I like to support this business because it's a small business, who supports other small businesses in my community, they encourage volunteers and even work with teens should your child wants to earn service learning hours, they support other businesses that are veteran owned and follow sustainable practices from what "doing my homework online " has led me to conclude. Finally, my favorite reason for supporting this business is because they further the cause and give back to the community by educating, encouraging responsible animal care, even assisting with fostering/care in emergency wildfire evacuations. I can really appreciate a business that "puts its money where it's mouth is and actively supports and advocates within the community" improving care and cause.

What I was shown were very minimal enclosures with little to no enrichment. This does not reflect modern, welfare-focused reptile care, which prioritizes proper substrate, enrichment, and environments that allow for natural behaviors. When I asked further questions about their standards, I did not receive clear or transparent answers. Instead, the conversation quickly became unprofessional. Rather than addressing concerns about animal care, I was met with dismissive and inappropriate responses from the store manager (included in screenshots). This experience raised serious concerns about both the level of care and the professionalism behind this business. There are many reptile keepers and shops that prioritize proper, up-to-date husbandry and genuinely care about the animals they work with. Based on what I saw and experienced, I would strongly advise others to do thorough research and consider supporting businesses that clearly demonstrate proper animal care and professionalism.

She enjoys Khloe's gentle nature and we like how she cares for her. While I was there, I watched several large breeds being trimmed and was surprised how chill they were. Great training was done with these Dogs. Another came in Heavily matted and looked like another dog by the time we left. The Pet groomers here are friendly, show care for your pets which is why we schedule Marissa faithfully. Best care for your furry kids my Friends-SYOY!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the PetSmart on Signal Butte in Mesa…read more I brought my goldendoodle in for grooming, and the groomer told us there was only slight matting behind the ears. Based on that, there was absolutely no reason for my dog to be shaved down this drastically. Not only did they take her extremely short, but they went even shorter than expected without calling to confirm or getting approval--which is completely unacceptable. My mom dropped off the dogs for me, and when I saw the result, I honestly felt horrible. This is not just a "short cut"--it's uneven, way too close to the skin, and not at all what was discussed. If a groomer believes they need to go significantly shorter than planned, the bare minimum is to call the owner and explain the situation before proceeding. I paid $100 for this haircut and feel like my dog was butchered. Grooming requires communication, care, and professionalism, and this experience lacked all three.
