When I brought it back, they said it could be fixed right away, so I returned again a couple of days later to pick it up--but it hadn't been properly repaired. Only the lower part of the train had been addressed, while the most important area was left untouched. They then asked me to come back again a week later. When I finally received the dress, it came back with severe stains on the décolletage area that were not there when I first brought it in. Even after I complained, their response was shockingly irresponsible--they said they didn't want to touch the dress anymore. This is truly unacceptable service. I strongly advise against bringing your precious wedding dress to this place. I have worked in the wedding industry for over 25 years, and I have never experienced such poor service. Out of the five dresses I entrusted to them, two were returned in a condition that made them unusable.

The turnaround rate for the services was approximately 5 days, though I did say it was a no rush service. Not sure if it would have been more expensive had I not said that. Either way, satisfied with how both requests turned out. It was around $12 for removal and $14 for sewing on.

However, Mike said I could bring the jacket in any time for a FREE PRESSING/IRONING if I lucked out & the jacket did end up getting repaired without coming undone etc. I made a mental note of Mike's generous promise/offer. Weeks passed before I got around to getting the jacket tailored & fixed. The jacket did withstand tailoring, so I decided to take Greenway up on the free pressing--assuming anyone there remembered I had been there or what Mike had said. I brought the jacket in; Mike happened to be at the front desk. He seemed to recollect the free pressing offer, & he handed it over to other Greenway staff. They carefully pressed & packaged my jacket while I waited. A pleasant 10-15 min. wait. When the staff completed the pressing of the jacket, the jacket looked good as new. Impressive customer service is the hallmark of Greenway Cleaners. 5 stars for unrivaled professionalism, tact, & dignified treatment of customers.

We recently had a brand new custom sport coat cleaned -- a very expensive jacket specially made for my 6'6" husband. He wore it only a few times on vacation, came home, took it off, and I immediately sent it to Kona for cleaning. When it was returned, there was a noticeable burn mark on the shoulder/deltoid area along with a streak running from the top of the shoulder, exactly like damage caused by an iron that was too hot. When I called, they immediately picked the jacket back up, which initially made me believe they intended to resolve the issue fairly. However, after keeping it for five days, Carlos called and stated that he "asked the production staff" and because they claimed they didn't do it, Kona would not reimburse us. The conversation was incredibly disappointing. Carlos was rude, dismissive, and openly implied he did not believe us. He stated there was no one else we could speak to. After spending thousands of dollars with this business over the years, being treated this way over a clearly damaged item was shocking. To make matters worse, their customer service system is a mess. No one answers the main customer service number, and when calling individual stores, the employees often seem confused, difficult to understand, or act as though they have no idea what you're talking about. During this process alone, this happened to me at least five separate times. In one instance, I was placed on hold and never helped -- I finally hung up myself after waiting 17 minutes. The quality of service at Kona has slowly declined over time, but this experience confirmed that customer loyalty and accountability no longer matter to them. I would absolutely not recommend using their services, especially for high-end or custom clothing.

These were standard polos, chinos, and khakis. When I said I was fine with them laundering everything as-is, she refused, claiming my brands were too expensive to wash normally. On top of that, they wanted to charge $10 per garment for anything not covered under the plan. This is a clear bait-and-switch. Their own plan description covers washable fabrics, my clothes were washable, and they still found a way to reject them and upsell at $10 a piece. I asked for a refund on the plan and would not recommend this service to anyone.

She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I had a good experience coming to this tailor! I brought some items that were too loose in my lower back and too low cut in my chest area, the tailor fixed it and all of my garments fit well now. The whole process was smooth and I like the interior design of the shop, it feels classy and artsy. The tailor is really kind and easy to communicate with. I couldn't zip it up and I freaked out thinking I just wasted my money. I went to Babe and worked with Charm to if she could fix my dress. SHE IS A MIRACLE WORKER. She managed to bring out the waist 3 inches and she even worked on the bust to help it fit better. She basically took the whole top apart and put it back together to fit me! Tons of work, but the final price was fair (and cheap!) She was so kind, funny, and caring. I really enjoyed working with her and you can tell that she loves her job! Her pricing was so fair! When she started working on the dress and saw that it needed more work then expected, she called me and discussed the new price (which was still really cheap). So sweet and I appreciated the heads up! I also had 3 dresses dry cleaned and they all looked (and smelled) wonderful. I would highly recommend getting your alterations and dry cleaning done here. Charm is AMAZING, the staff are very nice, the pricing is cheap, and their work is impeccable. I will be retuning for all of my dress needs! Thank you so much Charm for fixing my dream dress!

I went in…read morewanting just a hem, but after consulting with Coco, she suggested tightening up the shoulder seam so that the bust of my dress didn't sag as much. I had read the reviews before going to her, so I was aware of Coco delivering a day late on alterations. I went in on June 18th to get my dress altered, and Coco told me to come in on July 2nd to pick up my dress. On July 2nd, I actually called her beforehand to confirm that my dress would be ready. She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I would definitely recommend getting your clothes in earlier rather than later to accommodate for any potential delays.
