This is the place to go when your denture breaks and you need it fixed ASAP! I can't explain the relief of knowing that it would be less than 24hrs to get the denture back. I am a singer and I need them fixed yesterday. I had GREAT service, got a consult for implants and Alex wasn't pushy. I felt cared for. The office is clean and organized. My previous implant-supported upper denture was worn through after 10 years. I spent over a year getting runaround from my dentist with pricing, (I was quoted first $400, then $12,000, then $4,000) insurance, my existing implants may need to be.......blah, blah. Okay, we'll order new snaps for it, but we don't want to put them in because we don't want the responsibility if something happens. So I went over a year with "spongy" teeth. My husband cut an ad from our community paper advertising a dentist's office offering inexpensive dentures, with a "denturist" on site. So I called the number and Deirdre answered. Deirdre always answers. She is pleasant and lovely to deal with. I never actually went to that office as Alex works out of his home as well, so I was able to get very convenient appointments. Visit 1: I met Alex. He looked at my appliance, showed me his price list, explained the process of having a new one made. The total was roughly $2,200. He took an impression. He asked if I could do 50% deposit and then he could order In about 10 days or so I could come back for an initial fitting. Then he put new snaps in my old denture in about 3 minutes, and it felt secure again. Woo Hoo! Visit 2: They look really good! Pick a shade, final shaping preferences, Visit 3: They're done! Tried them in, small bite adjustment, and I wore them out the door. About a week later I stopped back in for a small tweak, and they're perfect! Visit 4: A super-minor adjustment, and I have an amazing-fitting new set of very natural-looking teeth that are really comfortable. I highly recommend Alex. Alex is wonderful, I had an emergency need for replacement of a partial lower dential on a Saturday after 5:30, Alex was able to see me by 7:30 p.m. and got me fitted for a new denture, working with me until after 8 p.m. And then the next day, Sunday, I had to go to a professional baseball game and Alex had the Denture ready to go before it was time. I highly recommend the next day service and emergency work. Will definitely go back there again, and he does free adjustments for 2 months . Dr. Alex not only saw me that day, but I had the pleasure of meeting April, Dr. Grampp and the staff at Designer Dental Services. Where was this practice ten years ago. I loved it. And I can't say I've had a pleasant experience at many dentists. Dr.Alex had made me a new denture and when I saw myself in the mirror I had tears in my eyes. Alex is a 5 star Denturist. He is the whole package: competent, meticulous, reliable, caring. My mom lives in an assisted living community. She had 12 extractions and needed a complete set of dentures. She was fearful of the whole process and Alex put her immediately at ease with his reassurance of what he was able to do.
