Returned to the store and was told that there would be no refund since it was bought on Thursday and not prepared til Saturday. Then she added that it was cut on Monday and should have been used sooner. She told me to take it with me since they didn't have a way to get rid of it. I told her it was HER problem and walked out. We believe to shop in our hometown and support small, independent businesses. This was a $15 lesson and a ruined family meal.

The only problem we had was trying to choose between so many great options. Skip to the wedding day, Shoup's showed up in full force! I was amazed with the amount of people the had to help out with the bar and catering. After the ceremony, we got our much needed first taste of our speciality cocktails. (side note: I had asked the On The Rocks staff to try to replicate a cocktail I had at a downtown bar. Kailey somehow got the exact recipe from the bar, and it was PERFECT) We went with the hand passed appetizers, which I would suggest because it let everyone socialize. The best part about being the bride and groom is that you get to go first in line for dinner. Shoup's bought a ton of food and no one went hungry that night.
