The installed high quality artifical turf in the front yard / entry of our house, and we went back to only them to do the backyard. Custom Touch did a really good job on our backyard transformation. We purchased a brand new home that did not have a backyard previously, and they added a retaining wall with artificial turf and pavers to make our yard look amazing! Custom Touch is a very busy company so expect the start dates to be pushed out longer than you expect and possibly the bid being high compared to some other companies. However, for us, it made it worth it because they provided all of the specs and information on the materials being used, which our HOA required. First I need to say that Sean is probably the nicest human in the planet. He came out a day after I request a quote. He was super knowledgeable about what he is doing. He walked us through everything he was going to do to the back yard and gave us two different quotes on for all Astro turf and another one for Astro and pavers. His prices are amazing. Once the grass came in he was here and took him two days to install everything and also built us a wall that looks amazing as well as the Astro turf. Sean also called a few guys to come and put sunscreens on are window and had the most affordable guy come out the next day and install the sunscreens. I'M SO GLAD WE WENT WITH HIM! While the work was going on I asked him, around 2pm, how much more it would be to clean out a side yard and install rock. He said his crew was just about done for the day, and the truck he was taking to the dump was already full, so it would be a bit more expensive. He'd have to go back to the store, buy more supplies, then bring his crew back another day, and make another run to the dump. I understood and said maybe I'd just do it another time. Later my wife told me she saw the workers cleaning out the side yard and installing the rock! It turns out Sean decided to just do the work anyway, and FOR FREE! Same day! He even took some old trash in my backyard to the dump for me (a big dog house), also for free! All this extra work, in addition to doing a great job on the work I hired him for, means Less Stress Landscaping really lived up to it's name. They deserve 10-stars, though yelp limits me to 5. I had this company come for a front yard estimate. I dealt w Evan. He was a really nice young kid. I liked him a lot. Their estimate was close to 10k higher then any other estimate I received but I still liked his design best and was going to proceed. This work was for a brand new house. I also needed my garage floor epoxy. Even gave me a referral for my floors and called a friend of his right in front of me and we set it up! I was so happy that saved me a lot of time. The person who came to do my floor told me after 3 days I could park a car. I waited an entire week. The car still sank into the epoxy as it never dried. I contacted back this company and they gave me the number to the guy to fix it. He was nice and said he would come tomorrow at noon. He no called no showed me. Then the next day he said I needed to ask him more nicely if I wanted him to fix. I have to hire somebody else to fix and complete their job. Based on my experience, I am unable to move forward w the landscape because these are their friends doing sub standard work. No call no showing. And not being professional at all. I would be very careful when dealing w this company and anybody associated to them as well. read more
