Had a consulting appointment with Ramses for a landscaping project that involved laying pavers in my yard and installing a patio cover. Met on a Friday and was told that they'll have an estimate sent to me by early the following week. Wednesday comes around and no estimate was received so I reached out to Ramses to follow up. He said the team should have sent the estimate on Monday or Tuesday but that he will check with the team Thursday morning and to ensure the estimate will be sent to me the following morning. Next Monday comes around and still no estimate and no communication. I sent a follow up message to Ramses looking for an update and this time absolutely no response. If communication with this company is already this poor before receiving an estimate, I can't imagine having to work with them if a problem should arise during or after the project is completed. With so many landscaping company and options in Las Vegas, working with this company is NOT WORTH THE RISK considering the cost of a landscaping project. This was especially disappointing because they were referred to me by a realtor friend and they also completed a landscaping project for a family member of mine. Quality service is done here with Ramsey and his team at Visualized Landscaping. I tried searching for many landscapers and most of them scalp for your money overpricing their design and product. If you want to skip all that stress, go straight to these guys. Although it is still fairly pricey, you are paying for what you visualized to be the dream yard you wanted and planned for a long time. Most people who you would pay cheap for ends up being a big mistake because they tend to go for non-contractors/ laborers picked up from the side of the road with some skill to do the bare minimal. That's not always good. You need a licensed professional who follows state codes just like Visualized Landscape! Otherwise HOA or state would have your rip up your backyard and do it again properly, which means more money out of your pocket. Initially, Ramsey would have a designer come out to your property to do measurements and go over details on what you want visualized into a design. The initial design process is $500 but it goes towards your total contract invoice of the project including materials and labor. Then, they give you a 3D design and 2D renderings of your yard project. If there were things not to your liking initially, they can go over it with you and make changes to the design free of cost. But if you keep changing your design, they will charge you a little more. You have the freedom of changing your design anytime during the project as well. Again, they will have to charge you for any materials they would need to order and replace. They're also pretty good at communicating, so if you had some ideas, always let them know your changes in advance before they order materials you don't need. For my design, I had them lay out the entire list of costs to each projects. This way, if you had a low budget to begin with, you know what to start off with first and then what you would need to finish later. So of course, you have to get your foundation and flooring done first. If you wanted a solid top pergola to go in, they would need to dig and put in cement footings below ground in advance. Cheaper than ripping up the floor later to install and replace in the future. I didn't just have them level out my hard and install pavers, I also had them install drainage for flooding on rainy days. I also had them lay around wiring throughout the ground for future lighting I want to install when I decide to do planting/gardening or make certain features with lights. Then I even had them install irrigation for these future plants. They wired the irrigation to a water system I already have in my garage. I went with grays and blacks for my pavers. Installed an elevated paver platform in the corner of my yard. Including matching gray colored stepping stone slabs, turf, and gravel. I connected my backyard to my front driveway with a pavered pathway held up on a retaining wall because my house is on a higher slope than my neighbors and it came out beautiful with pathway lights installed as well. I was very pleased with the work that this company did in both my backyard and front yard. In the back they took out my grass and installed artificial turf with a putting green. Really did a very very good job. Very happy with it. In the front yard they took out all the grass and converted it to a desert landscape with boulders and cactus. Also excellent work. I also believe their price was fair. The only reason that they did not get five stars (I really would give them 4 3/4 but the app doesn't allow that) is due to not keeping an appointment and not communicating about it. I had scheduled to be home on the day they indicated they were going to start work and I confirmed it with them A couple of days out and then they tell me The day before they MAY not be able to make it on the scheduled day (although I had already set my schedule) and they would let me know by the end of the day if they were going to make it the next day. Well they never got back to me at all. I was told it was just a communication error on their part but like I said, that cost them one star. I'm a very punctual person and I understand rescheduling but I do not like the lack of Communication. However, their work was excellent. I give a robust five stars for their work.
