We agreed on day for them to come clean so I stopped messaging the other shops that were offering their services cause I didn't want to waste anyones time. I ended texting the night before with no response and the morning of to make sure and confirm our appointment for service. to only be told that we're out of the service area. I hope this company takes my review as a way to improve their business. I see what they are trying to do which could be a positive but they need improvement. To start of the communication with booking was easy. They were responsive, which was a positive because I was trying to book another company but didn't hear back until after I booked with them. These are my recommendations for this business. 1. They arrived 1 hour late to our appointment. The cleaners arrived smelling like cigarettes. It made me unhappy since I don't want that smell lingering in my house. 2. They did a walk through to show what to clean, and said what would be extra. 3. They don't have a vacuum, which was surprising, since this is supposed to be a cleaning company. If the customer doesn't have one, then you don't vacuum? 4. I would recommend they invest in some microfiber cloths, they asked for a paper towel roll from me, which I specified that all cleaning supplies were included with no extra charge. 5. They also didn't have trash bags on hand. 6. The cleaning supplies were from Walmart, which was Great Value brand. As a customer expecting a cleaning company, I would want cleaning supplies better than the ones I have. 7. All trash cans should have been taken out as that is part of the cleaning process. They left multiple trashes still full. 8.Multiple surfaces weren't dusted, my china cabinet wasn't cleaned at all, my shelves in my bathroom had dust still visible, my ceiling fans weren't cleaned. 10. They did not have anything to clean my hard water stains on the shower doors. I was told it's on there too tough, which is why I hired a cleaning company to clean it. 11. Halfway through the cleaning process, the cleaner left outside to go smoke, which now is even worse because that's a fresh smoke smell that was brought in while cleaning my home. 12. When the person mopped there were still dirt stains which I wiped off with a sanitizer wipe, so it wasn't on there tough but that wasn't cleaned. 13. When the cleaner was saying he was moving to the next room, I said can you make the bed, which they replied oh yea if you would like? That should be standard with cleaning. 14. None of the pillows were placed nicely on my sofa or any of the blankets were folded. 15. If anything was moved I recommend placing back in the spot it was in before. I had to go place everything back after the cleaner left. 16. When the cleaners finish, they should do a walk through with the customer to make sure the client is happy. My expectation was to have my house cleaned better than I could, which wasn't the case. It was a difference when the cleaner left, but I didn't get the wow factor. The people need to be trained on how to properly clean a home. They don't have a cleaners eye for attention to detail. They are doing a job but they are not trained cleaners. I would recommend for this company to invest more in the people and supplies if they want to continue to gain business. read more

I was so grateful that Customized Cleaning was available on short notice! I was recovering from surgery and my family was coming into town. Nina responded quickly on a Sunday and my cleaning was scheduled for the following Tuesday. The team arrived on time and did a great job cleaning my house. They dusted, changed bedding, cleaned the bathrooms, swept and mopped. A flat rate of $165 was charged and I also included a tip for the great service. Thank you, again! We hired this company to do a move out clean. We paid them and tipped them remotely because we were not in town. We went to inspect the house on Sunday and the cleaning job was terrible. They didn't dust or clean any closets, the laundry room floors were never swept or mopped, half of the baseboards were never touched or dusted, overall we had to spend another two hours there on Sunday cleaning it and will have to go back again Wednesday to finish it before return it back over to the landlord. Highly disappointed and we spent over $200 between Cleaning and a tip that we shouldn't of gave however, we could not inspect it because we were not in town. read more

The owner Dana is very nice and timely in responding to messages. Bummed to have leave two stars but the cleaning was sub par. I didn't get the impression our cleaner had much experience with cleaning. Our house is 2800 sq feet, 3/2 bed and bath. I was told it was a $200 flat fee, but of course when Dina came it jumped to $300. This was because she said I told her the house is 2000 sq feet. Fine...As far as cleaning, it took our cleaner five hours and she didn't dust. She also used our swifter for the entire house. We had a mop and she chose the swifter, which we usually just use for a quick clean up or small area. Again I didn't get the impression that this was a professional or experienced house cleaner. read more

So disappointed, I ordered a move out cleaning. This is when a tenant moves out and you want it ready for next tenant. I was very clear this is a move out cleaning, which means very deep cleaning. Was told flat rate !160.00 and confirmed they where doing a move out. Nina shows up, alone and states I have two more people coming right now. So we walk into home and this is when bait and switch started. Extra this, extra that, now we are at $295.00. Okay, that's fine. $95 extra to do windows and blinds. Windows left all streaked and blinds dirty. Mirrors not even touch in bedrooms still dirty. Floors all streaked. I went back after an hour to pay her and still no other workers, so did they even come? And did she do 1/2 donkey work because she was by herself? This was just a light dusting and a quick wipe down job, not what I requested. Asked for a partial refund, and was told they did an excellent job and that she sent pictures along the way to show work, she sent pictures from the angles she wants us to see. Cleaning the cabinets and windows was an extra service, but their standard cleaning was great for my needs! Dina and team provided move out cleaning for us. She was very flexible and accommodated a few reschedules. Her price was also very competitive. When the day of the cleaning arrived she was on time and arrived with two other cleaners. She was very polite and did a walkthrough to identify what would be done. After service was completed, I did notice a few issues, for example there were several hairs left in one of the bathrooms and they put our fridge back together incorrectly. If your priority is quick and affordable - this is a good service. I think their business model is high volume/low price/speedy service. Theres a place for that, just recognize it may not be quite as deep and thorough of service as someone charging 50% more. read more

I had set an appointment for 11 am on a Thursday in May. I was contacted the night before to confirm. At 11:15 am on the day of my appointment I received a text saying there is traffic- not a problem. I was asked for my address again. I was then told the agent is an hour and a half away! Completely unreasonable. Arrangements were made for them to come out later in the day. I had to contact again to make sure they were still coming and they requested a different day. I understand being late and IE traffic, but this type of logistic irresponsibility is unacceptable.
