    Tuna kale salad

This place has the best happy hour from 1-3pm. Tonya, one of the bartenders, is super passionate and helpful with customized drinks and menu suggestions. During one week, we went 4 times. Suggest the ahi tuna salad with kale and my husband loved their burger. The burger by the way, is half off their dinner price, at $10! Big hit!!!

Absolutely delicious! Waited were very kind and curious, and the manager Val was incredibly kind! Food and wine is to die for and I don't have enough words to say how good this place is!

Definitely not worth the $275 we paid for our meals. % over rated. The steak was good but not great. The salad my wife eat was blah. The beer was the highlight of the evening and our waiter who was pretty good. He gets a 5 Star+. They served us our meal with just a knife to cut the meat. We had to ask for Utensils twice. If I had to do it all over again, we probably would have went next door to the Argentina Steak House.

this place is incredible. We eat their very often and have never had nothing but great meals and service. I don't know what people expect but please do not go by their rating on here. It's phenomenal.!!!!

    Bourbon, onion rings

Was hesitant to dine at Cut 38 based on the mixed reviews. A lot of the reviews reflected poor service. I dined on a Sunday early evening during the summer. It was slow and I grabbed a spot at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and attentive to my friends and me. Cocktails were on point. I started with a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and ended with a Tito's espresso martini. 5 stars for the bartender and her service. What was average was the food. The bourbon onion rings were fantastic....extra large, crispy, cooked golden brown. A savory dip came with it and the bartender also brought a sweet dip. The Thai steak noodle salad lacked flavor, noodles, streak and mangos. It was mostly lettuce that needed more dressing. It was average at best. Houston's still has the best Thai steak noodle salad. I will go again for the onion rings and drinks.

Very nice restaurant. The waiter, Jaime, is excellent. Very delightful to have someone like that bring to your table a good, honest steak.

Not sure if it was because my friend's band was playing so it was full of Argentinian people as well as a celebrity, or if that's the usually crowd. Any which way, it was a blast. The bar is run by two Argentinian women who were awesome. Very sweet. I just had one drink because came from a happy hour so was already primed. I ordered the popular Argentine drink which is Fernet with Coke which is usually in the proportion of 70/30 but these girls have a heavy pour so more like 60/40. I also ordered empanadas which were delicious!! I had a Malbec meat empanada and a cheese and onion one. Unfortunately I live far from this place but if I lived close, it would definitely be a great place to hang out on weekends. Enjoy!! Ps. I came with my American friend who does live in the area and loved both the Argentinian people's vibe and the bar's vibe. He said he will be back on his own.

I can definitely see myself at Cafe Magie on Fridays this summer. Service is always so friendly here, and the space is so cozy it's perfect to get work done, and then once the clock strikes wine-o-clock you can enjoy wine while you work, too!

I ordered a charcuterie tray for the three of us; it's not premade. You pick the ingredients and then they are charged à la carte. For the one we enjoyed with Brie, prosciutto and jam. It came up to about $40. We enjoyed a bottle of chardonnay - nicely cool and crisp - while chatting and enjoying the game. I think they just have bottles, not wine by the glass. I'd certainly recommend Magie for a casual date night, or nightcap after dinner elsewhere. The patio with string lights and all does seem cute for a quiet evening.

Service was attentive throughout the evening, with staff providing helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The codfish cakes were crisp and flavorful, while the grilled octopus was tender and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread service was a welcome addition and a great way to begin the meal. For the main course, we enjoyed the Paelha Marinheira and the Parrilhada de Marisco. Both seafood dishes were outstanding, showcasing fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Dessert was equally enjoyable. The Pasteis de Nata offered the classic creamy custard and flaky pastry combination that Portugal is known for, while the Pêras ao Vinho do Porto provided a refined and delicious finish to the meal.

We had reservations and were seated immediately. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. They have a tree in the middle that gives it an outdoor open feel. And an incredible wine display in the back. Our waitress, from Portugal, did a great job of explaining the menu to us and guiding us on what to order. We started off with the Bolinhos de Bacalhau which are cod fritters and OMG they were sooo good! These tasted identical to the ones we've eaten in Lisbon. It comes with the classic pairing of black eyed peas which are awesome when eaten together. We also tried the Chouriço Assado which the presentation when its brought to the table is a treat itself. It comes out on a flaming pig and then its sliced tableside. Our waitress recommended trying the chorizo with the piri piri sauce which is slightly spicy and it was delicious. It added another layer of flavor. For entree we got the Paelha Marinheira which was absolutely amazing. First off, its a huge portion and comes piping hot. Each bite was full of seafood. We added the lobster which was perfection. It's great to share between 2 people. For dessert we ended with the pasteis de nata and its great because it brings 2 pastries and we paired it with ice cream. It makes for the perfect sweet treat without being too much. The pasteis de nata is served slightly warm and is perfect with the cool ice cream. Overall great restaurant for some Portuguese cuisine.
