Oh my gawd!! Worst service ever by the older blond lady manager!!! Unbelievable!! 2 nights in a row. The first night she turned us away and said if she puts us on the wait list we have to eat dinner. We were like, um yeah, that's why we are there. We were dressed nice and dine often at fine restaurants. The second night we got there early and sat at the bar for an hour. We had a drink and an appetizer, then we decided to get a table for dinner. As we got seated for dinner the waitress said we can only stay an hour. She said the table is reserved. We said you don't take reservations here, she said she doesn't make the rules. I said does everyone else only get an hour for dinner? She said she doesn't make the rules. We felt so targeted by the manager both nights. She did not want our patronage. We don't know why she treated us so badly. We did nothing to make anyone angry or even notice us. But she did not want us there. We decided just to leave and not get dinner. I asked her for her name and she said she doesn't have to give it to me. Our office orders from cut 38 once a week and the service and food is always pretty great. Today one I ordered a kale salad as an appetizer. When we went to pick up our food the order was made with chicken in it and I apologetically denied it because I am a vegetarian. I asked to please make me another one but Carlos was rude and said that it wasn't his fault. There are two kale salads in their menu and the person who took the order didn't ask, therefore it wasn't our fault neither. I did not appreciate his remark and attitude. read more

They would NOT accommodate any of my eating restrictions. The waiter just said NO. I asked if they could make my chicken plain the answer was no. I asked for the vegetables plain they said no. Saw the ad on FB. Went there for lunch today. Food and service was excellent. Appetiser was the artichoke and spinach dip. My wife had a salad with grilled Tuna and I had the French Dip (Prime Rib Sandwich) with mash potatoes. Presentation and quality excellent. Nice looking place too. They are fixing the A/C to make it cooler inside. Lunch is 50% off on most appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Great deal and friendly staff. Will go there again shortly. read more

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY!...they refused to make a simple grilled cheese for my 7yr old daughter. We thought this was a joke, spoke to the GM, got the same response...'chef will not make anything off the menu'. We ended up getting up and leaving. The worse part is that it was our last night in town (staying at a resort just across the street) and had to take 2 separate Ubers to 'The Cheesecake Factory' to get something to eat that late night. I have tried a few items from their lunch menu and the food is AMAZING!! The pan-seared tuna salad is delicious, the artichoke & spinach dip was one of the best I have ever had! They currently have 50% off of select lunch menu items. The service is also really great... Recently I call-ordered the wrong item, and when I was picking it up I realized my mistake and Carlos assisted me greatly in getting me what I wanted. Although it was in fact my mistake, he was very insistent on correcting it and he was so accommodating. I truly appreciated his helpfulness... Thanks again Carlos! I have been a repeat customer here for years. Tonight was my last night at this restaurant. We ordered a total of 3 well drinks along with dinner and desert. When the check came we were charged for call drinks. The wait person said she could not alter the bill since the person who had taken the drink order had left for the evening. She asked the manager to adjust the bill and the manager refused stating "they drank the drinks". Excuse me, but how were we to know the difference and how were we to know the drinks were not made with the well alcohol? I asked to please speak with the manager and when she(Dahlia) came to the table. Her attitude was as large as she was in her over the top hooket-ish attire. When I politely inquired about the discrepancy she said I was screaming at her and she walked away. I never displayed inappropriate behavior and as I was leaving I approached her to inquire why she had not returned to our table she again only displayed attitude. There are just too many places to go here in Miami to be disturbed by someone in customer service who does not realize the importance of such. I have no reason to return . I just hope her attitude and behavior does not ruin the business they have. read more

If there was any room or option for more stars, I will certainly give it more. I came in for dinner with my sister and my son and we left extremely happy. This is the new place in town so we wanted to give it a try and it lived to the expectations. We first ordered a couple of drinks and the spinach dip which was amazing. For dinner we ordered the ribs, the half chicken and the pork. Each of them was delicious. The music was not so loud and we were able to have a normal conversation. The place has a very good ambiance and lighting which enhances the dining experience. We will be coming back surely. read more

The absolute worst restaurant I've ever experienced!!!! If you want to go out to dinner as a family - do NOT go here! They refused to make a grilled cheese for one of our 7 year old kids - however - had the bread and cheese. We asked for the General Manager who claimed the three owners refused to allow anything to be made for kids off the menu. They can make a Cheeseburger - but they can't take the bun and the cheese and toast it without the burger. He offered her a hot fudge sundae for dinner. I only came here because of the other reviews. I got the filet mignon with the "creamed spinach." Filet was hands down gross. Literally gross. Nothing special about it at all. Their cows are fed corn. Says it on the menu. And the filet was no better than any super market regular steak that I could cook mediocrely at home. The "creamed spinach" was melted cheese with a few leaves of spinach in it. It should be called cheese dip with a few leaves of spinach in it. I was so disappointed based on the other reviews. Recently went for dinner and really enjoyed it. I'm a stickler for service and it was excellent. We were greeted outside by a very professional host who opened the door and welcomed us. The booth seating is very comfortable with a nice view of the indoor/outdoor bar and comes with fabulous pillows for your comfort. The appetizer of bacon with feta cheese is really, really good. The steak was excellent, you could almost cut it with just a fork. The creamed spinach was homemade and fresh. Chocolate cake ended the meal and it was a homemade home run! A friend and I were fortunate enough to have dinner at Cut 38 on Saturday. It was a delightful experience at a gorgeous new restaurant. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The thick-cut bacon was a wonderful surprise and the creamed spinach was probably the best I've ever had. Me and my wife and other couples have been to this restaurant several times before and had only great things to say about it. However, today, was another story in itself. It first started when we went in I noticed that tables were right next to each other as it was pre-covid. There was no social distancing amongst the patrons as the staff sat people right next to each other. Also, we noticed that the chef had his mask by his chin for at least a half hour from what we saw. We decided to bring Our concerns to the owner who was present. My wife went up to him and wanted to voice her concerns about no social distancing and what she observed with the chef. The owner basically said why are you talking to me the manager is right there. Obviously the owner wanted nothing to do with any criticism of his establishment. We decided to promptly pay our bill leave a nice tip for the wonderful server and as we walked out I noticed the owner looking at me. I then went to the manager and asked if I could speak to him because the owner would not speak to my wife. Having heard that, the owner approached me with no mask on my face and asked what I said. I replied that you wanted nothing to do with speaking to my wife, you were rude and I was speaking to the manager. He then told me to get the F out of there. I told him My concerns, that there was no social distancing his chef was not wearing a mask properly and he was not wearing a mask. He then repeated himself and said get the F out of here. I told him I would be contacting code enforcement at which he replied "wow I'm very scared". If anyone is considering going to this restaurant and is serious about their health I advised to stay away to stay away and seek another establishment. read more

Hi there i wanted to let everyone know what type of establishment this is and to avoid this place. I went for a nice dinner with my mother to this restaurant March 13th. Not going to get into a whole long story but long story short I order a few things, i order a steak medium and told the waiter no blood just pink. The steak came bleeding red. The manager came and sent it back, came back with blood. The steak was sent back 4 times at which point my entire dinner was ruined. All apps cold and terrible. The waiter then said the manager wants to buy you dessert for the inconvenience. I said I dont want dessert, my mother is diabetic. The manager then said to my face i am still charging you full price for your dinner too bad, you can take it with you to go or leave it but im charging you for the steak. I said im not happy paying full price as I did not eat the steak i ate 1/4 of it not to mention the entire experience was ruined. He then said...Here is the best part....If you dont pay im calling the police. Keep in mind please that i did not see the bill at that point, i had no idea how much anything was, i was still in the middle of my dinner sitting at the table. The manager went and called the police on me. It was one of the most ridiculous situations ive ever been apart of. I apologized to the police for being called to the restaurant to serve as a means for the manager to not do his job and make a customer happy. THe manager did not know how to handle this situation. Furthermore, the OWNER was sitting at the bar the entire time sipping on wine watching this not once did he come to the table and find out the story. I even told the cops that i wanted to speak to the owner and the cops said he doesnt want to talk to me. Moral of the story, make sure you have an AMEX card so that your dinner is compensated via the card company. The restaurant made me pay full price for the dinner. DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY. Unless you want to end up in jail for having dinner here. Apparently its a crime to ask for a reduced bill when the stupid kitchen doesnt know how to make a medium steak properly. read more

After sitting down, ordering, and eating our food outdoors he approached our table and told us we could not dine in his restaurant because we we had dirty boots. We did not. We are Project Managers that work in construction offices. We wear slacks and dress shirts but need to wear boots for safety purposes. Nevertheless we asked were this rule was posted and he said "everyone knows cause it's posted online". Apparently there are other bad reviews from other construction professionals. This individual should not be a manager of a restaurant and if this establishment does in fact have such a rule than it should post it. Too bad that management is so poor because the food is good.
