They do a wonderful job with my dog. He always leaves happy, clean, and fluffy. Their deshedding and grooming process is never rushed and he always leaves smelling great. Depending on the service it can range from $75 -$100 for a large dog with a ton of hair. So far though it has been absolutely worth it. The only downside is the location of the business is not in a convenient location and their parking sucks if you show up at peak hours of 5 - 6 pm. But I drive all the way from the North Bethany area just so that my dog may be groomed here. Hailie does great work! read more

Took are Maltipoo there a few times and all was good. Always friendly people at the desk when you check in. Well the last time I took her in,I also brought our Shepsky in to see how much they would charge to her. A lady named Megan checked us in, said she was the owner. She had no smile or friendly attitude. Was rude as a matter of a fact. If she is the owner of cute cuts it is a shame. I would never take my dogs there after the experience with her at check in. Your dog is not safe here! I just had my dog washed here...I went to pick him up and found that they left my dog with his walking chain and leash on him in the kennel. I asked if this is a normal practice, 2 employees said "yes". We do it with all dogs. My dog chewed his leash and could of hurt himself or hung himself in the kennel. I called the owner (Phil) of the business and he had no idea this is a policy (leave all personal items on the dog) for his business. In my case , they left his collar, walking chain and leash on him and then placed him a kennel/cage. Animal safety is not a high priority at this business. The business offered me a free replacement leash. My reply, keep your leash. read more

The people here are great. I took my anxious dog in yesterday for a walk-in nail trim. Usually I give him a mild sedative and take him to his vet for his nails, but lately I have been wanting an alternative option that ideally didn't involve sedatives and that longer drive and hard to get appointments. Not only did they squeeze him in so we didn't have to wait, it seemed like the whole team working at the time converged to calm him and give him all the doting attention he could want during the very fast and efficient nail trim. On top of all of that, they used the grinder after the clippers, so it was actually a better and less scratchy finish than what we walk away from the vet with. So all told, instead of a whole day of mild sedation he had a quick 5 minute trim with tons of hands on human attention to keep him calm, 5 minute payment process, and a pup cup on the way home to make sure it was a happy memory. I highly, highly, recommend them for any dogs, but especially for anxious dogs (and their anxious owners). read more

I wake up each morning thinking the lyrics of the old Juice Newton song, "The Sweetest Thing I've Ever Known Is Loving You." That's how much I love Elvis.  He is my 3.5 pound Yorkie that I've considered a part of my family since 2010. When I put Elvis in the car after his grooming appointment at Cute Cuts Dog Grooming, he stands on the seat, lethargic. He's certainly NOT the same dog that I had dropped off for grooming two hours before. Before then, Elvis strutted off into the field that morning with the usual cute energetic pop in his step.  But, the dog that I now have after his grooming appointment at Cute Cuts Dog Grooming is barely keeping his glazed eyes open.  He seems to be in an immense amount of pain. We drive home.  I'm cuddling him in my lap. I tell myself that going to the groomer was just a lot for him.  He sleeps on the couch the entire afternoon.  When he gets up, he is limping. Now I'm mad.  I call the groomer to ask what in the heck did they do to Elvis, but they are closed for the day. I call my vet to see if they will look at him, but they are getting ready to close for the day. I decide to monitor him for the evening and take him in to see the vet in the morning if he doesn't return back to his normal state. For the rest of the evening, my heart hurts as I witness him writhing in pain. It's senseless because I relied on the positive YELP reviews to select this groomer.  Now I wonder if that is real at all because my dog is suffering immensely. I'm not a complainer, but I feel it is my duty to tell the world about the experience that my dog had with Cute Cuts Dog Grooming so that others will think twice before using them. Later in the evening, it dawns on me.  They cut his claws too short.  The pain of it is evaporating any energy he has because that is what pain does. Is it incompetence? Is it negligence? Whatever it is, is it worth the potential chance of pain and suffering for your dog? You'll have to decide that. As for me, I'll never use Cute Cuts Dog Grooming again. read more

Been coming here for a couple years for nail trims. They used to be good. The last two visits have sucked. They are short staffed. You can't just walk in for a nail trim anymore. They want to make a appointment for the next day. They don't answer the phone so you don't know how busy they are. Nail trim is $20. I'm done. I'll be taking my business to Camp Bow Wow. $13 nail trim. They answer the phone, are accommodating, etc. read more

Jessica was very thorough, kind to my dog, and it took less then half the time to complete my dogs grooming! This is a big deal as she's an Australian Shepard with a LOT of hair!!! Today was my first time using Cute Cuts. I recently adopted a French Bulldog who needed a bath and nail trim. I was nervous to drop her off since Stella is blind and has experienced significant trauma. I was so pleased when I entered and everyone greeted her by name, before I even checked in. The groomer was very gentle and good at explaining what he'd be doing. The service was quick and when I returned Stella was chilling, wagging her tail when she heard me talking. It was so sweet! I took my goldendoodle here for the first time. It was supposed to be a bath, full cuts, cleaning of the ears and trimmed nails. We got there and they said they didn't have time to do the cut, but they'd do the rest, really? We picked up our dog and they just bathed him... NO CLEANING OF THE EARS, NO NAIL TRIM OR ANYTHING! And then they charged us $80! Really for a damn bath! RIDICULOUS! Dog didn't even smell good! Worst place ever. Sad that these groomers are all so horrible. No work ethic! read more

Kim was wonderful with our 4 month puppy Chessie! It was her first groomers appointment. We loved how focused they were on making her first appointment a good experience! It was really easy to make an appointment and they talked with us about the expectations of how much they could groom Chessie without stressing her out too much with her first experience. Service remains consistent over the past 3 months at Cute Cuts. Pepper ungroomed has a lot of furnishings (aka fluff) that hangs over and grows into her eyes. They do a great job trimming those up, and you can't tell from the pictures but her nails and ears are also nice and trimmed up and clean. She always feels very soft and fluffy after her groom - she normally feels a bit course. They must use some nice conditioners. She always smells nice too. She enjoys going to visit Cute Cuts, and the staff there seem to really enjoy seeing her. Their treat case is great too. Pepper enjoyed her Maple Bacon flavored ice cream, and we're saving the other treats for tomorrow :) Their prices are very reasonable - $31 for her groom & she's at this point a medium size dog. I also always appreciate that she gets a very cute festive bandana with her visit :D read more

I highly recommend Cute Cuts! I have been bringing my 7 yo miniature poodle here since he was a puppy. The owner, Kim, is great to work with as well as the rest of the staff. Kim suggested starting slow since my dog would need regular grooming. We started with regular short frequent visits (weekly, then bi-weekly). Kim would groom him for a little while and then stop. She charged less for these visits. My dog was suffering from separation anxiety and this was the perfect way to get him used to grooming. Now Bandit has no problem going to the groomers and he always struts out the door when I pick him up. Cute Cuts doesn't cut corners by using cage dryers, like the big chain stores. Dogs are washed by hand and then hand blown dry. I will never let my dog go to any groomer who uses a cage dryer. One of the groomers even found a growth on his let that I didn't know was there. Cute Cuts is a family owned business that really cares about my dog. read more

The new owners do not seem like pet people at all and this was something FUN for them to do (they can't even seem to be on the same page).This place feels like a scam with pricing all over the place and no one seems like they are truly passionate about their work. I have used the self-wash and had been waiting A LONG TIME to find the groomer just right for me and my baby. This shop hired a new manager a few months ago and for once I really trusted a groomer to take care of him. Well, this manager is no longer there. I guess they had enough sense to get off of this train. You can tell the manager that's been there does not care about this place. I wish I had better things to say, but this isn't the place for anyone who sincerely cares about their pet. Stick to the self wash and find another shop for everything else. I do not trust these people. At least the old owner was nicer when she talked to me. read more

This place was great!! We have high maintenance pooches. Soooo....what does that call for??... Expensive doggy salon visits lined with gold, spritzed with Chanel and served with vodka martinis!!!! No just kidding. I love my dogs but not that much. No just kidding again. But really. Ya no. We usually go to Petco for out dog grooms, but I just feel walking out of there each time once a month that I could have bought new windshield wipers and renewed my tags for that same price. Or bought a new down comforter, or a membership to AAA, or plane ticket to LA. I mean...wtf??? Why so expensive??? Ugh!! So I threw the smack down on Petco, and yelped my merry way to this little groomer spot. First off, it's in a little shady part of Hillsboro, but don't let this sway you. Open your mind...take a deep breath...and march your way down that scary little hallway and your there. When you open the door to their shop it's cute as can be with a nice selection of doggy attire, leashes, grooming stuff and what not. The girls did a fabulous job on my Pomeranian and my Chi-Poo. See...high maintenance dogs. Lion cut for Pom...check! Lamb cut for Chi-Poo...check! My reason for 4 not 5 stars was they cut a ever so tiny little cut into my chipoos ear. Don't freak out at that, it sounds bad, but it was not even noticeable and they told me the moment I came to pick the dogs up. So no shadiness and they copped up to it stat. Chipoo was fine. Shhh. So overall a great experience (other then the "hopefully not traumatizing" moment for lil chipoo) :/ oh btw their groom included all the fixings of a wash, cut, clip, yummy scent...all what you would want out of a groom. Well, we have taken our small poodle mix dog here twice in the past few months. Each time we were told they would express her glands as part of the $55 grooming fee. After the 2nd visit she started scooting around the house quite a bit. I looked online and found out dogs do this because their glands need to be expressed. Hmmm, Cute Cuts just did this, right? Wrong! I took her to the vet who said her glands were full and getting inflamed. Besides paying for an office visit, getting her glands expressed by the vet, steroid spray and pills we were out another $129 because Cute Cuts didn't follow through. I gave them 3 stars because the cuts have been really good; however, I don't think they trimmed her nails the second time which was another part of the package. We won't be taking her back to Cute Cuts ever again! read more

Ive gone here for years because they always do a great job, with both of my dogs. They are super friendly and sweet to them. Unfortunately as of recently I had to start looking for a new groomer :( The last time I was in there they raised the price ONCE AGAIN. I have small 9.5lb dog that is very sweet, lovey and from what Ive been told very easy to groom because of her temperament. They informed me that the price to groom her was now $60! Holy cow! $60 for a tiny dog? AND theres a tip option so obviously I feel obligated. I was told it was because of the cost of living increase...which is $12.50 I believe? Either way Im sad to take my business else where, but I haven't received a cost of living wage increase in years and am on a budget. read more
