Took my teenager to get a regular manicure, and was told $9 was the cost They told my daughter to pick a color and they told her which colors to choice from. After they completed the manicure they told me the cost was $16. I asked why since they had already quoted me $9 for a regular manicure. They claimed that my daughter choice a jell nail polish, eventhough we specifically told them it was a regular manicure and they told my daughter which nail polish to choice from. They didnt give me a receipt for the service. I will be formally finally a complaint because they hurt one of my daughter's cuticle. I had never come here before, but heard good things and was looking for a new place. I called and requested a pedi/mani at the same time. Gal said sure come in 15 minutes. I was prompt. I sat down and the gal started my pedi. She was more than 1/4 of the way done and I asked if I'd get a mani - Sure someone will be right over. Then she is more than 1/2 way through and people kept coming in the door. I told her that if it wasn't convenient, she could forget my nails. She never even acknowledged if that was a okay thanks or no you'll have a mani right away. Then she finished and walked away to start someone else. I don't know if this was just from my experience. I went here because the rating was good. But I really don't know how they got 4.5 stars. The cleanness of the place was horrible! They just rinsed off their tools and put it back in the clean box!!! For the service. I had someone named Le. A lady with a short A lined hair cut. Her service was worse then how dirty it was. I get a pedi and gel mani. The pedicure. Horrible. With I said ouch she must started laughing. She couldn't get the line straight on my french tip. For the massage portion she just put a little lotion rubbed it for less then 30 seconds and was done The manicure. Not as bad as the pedi but still bad. Again with the French tip line. Couldn't get it right and sane with the massage. Just put on lotion and that's it. I never write reviews. But this place was so horrible I had to read more

My boyfriend and I went yesterday to get pedicures and after finding this place on Yelp, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, there was lots of parking. It was definitely not what we expected when it came to a nail salon because it was conjoined with a hair cutting place. The hair cutting place takes up most of the room, so the nail services were along this little strip on the side of the place divided by a wall. It's VERY small, so appointments are necessary, but we got lucky and walked-in, and were able to get our feet done right away. This isn't a glamorous nail salon that is for sure. No massage chairs, no pedicure soaking jets or anything like that, but it's okay, because their service was good, prices were dirt cheap, and the outcome was beautiful. We both had a girl named Daisy. Super sweet and super funny! Absolutely adored her. The miracle she did on my boyfriend's feet was definitely the best I've seen out of all the fancy schmancy places we've gone to. My toes look amazing and I got a little design on them. She made sure to take her time and make them look nice. The only thing is they don't take card. There's in ATM in the store, so you can pull out cash, but there's a $2 fee for using it. WORST PLACE EVER. I made an appointment there with Jenny based on the yelp reviews and pictures. It was the biggest mistake! I'm uses to not the cleanest salons but this place had fingernail clippings evwrywhere... I walked in at 925 and my appointment was at 930. I was seated. Waited about 10 to 15 more minutes. Then a woman started removing my old acrylics because I wanted a new full set. She was going back and forth between me & another client.. doing to people's nails at once. after about 40 minutes, my old acrylics were finally off. I went to wash my hands and come back and there is a new client in my seat.. there are no more salon chairs. So I'm told to just wait. I left. I went to a nail salon downtown and had the best experience. I'LL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN. read more

Just wanted to shed some light after reading the negative reviews- this is not some fancy shmancy salon... The reason the prices are so low is because you're not going to get a long ass massage or sit in a massage chair. This place is great for a quick mani-pedi and the quality is great. This is the best nail salon I have been to based on customer service. I was referred by a friend and I was looking for a last minute manicure. I texted Song asking if she had any openings that night, she didn't but she stayed open for me at 7pm. I got a French pedicure and a gel French manicure all for $35, can't beat it!! Song was also very friendly and attentive, making sure I was happy with the results. My nails lasted about 2 weeks, which is normal for me. I will definitely be coming back! Some info: cash only! Would not recommend for anything else -- I came in for acrylic nail removal and the girl ended up pressing too hard and removing apart of my actual nail (there's now a hideous red mark) and the design she did just looks messy. I've been needing a pedicure and decided to try this place based on the good reviews I read on Yelp. It's located inside a hair salon and once I walked in, I had to veer right to find them behind a wall partition. Anyway, I waited a few minutes before one of the ladies asked me to choose a nail polish color. They had a huge selection of China Glaze, ORLY, and Essie polishes. Great colors too, so that was a plus. Once I picked my color, I sat down on a regular chair. They don't have any massage chairs so the lady just used a wash tub to do my pedicure. She was very fast and not very detailed in cleaning. The nail polish job was very fast as well, and it was a bit sloppy in my opinion. I also noticed she didn't use a base coat, which is what I'm used to at the other salon I go to in National City. When she was done, she didn't bother asking me to stay until my polish was dried. No mini electric fans were used but instead, she rushed me out to take the next customer. Overall, it was ok for the $13 price tag. I probably wouldn't come back unless I'm in a pinch for a fast pedicure. read more

This is now my regular nail spot. It's close to my gym so i thought I'd try it out. Now, it's a bit smaller than other places, because 2/3's of the venue is the hair salon. Then there's a wall dividing both places once you walk in and the nail place is on your right only taking up about 1/3. No massage chairs, but I've gotten a pedicure here and they did a great job without it. For nails, I always go with Song. She's the sweetest and she'll make sure you're happy with your nails. The Gel manicures last longer depending on the brand of gel polish. So you can ask which brands last longer on a natural nail. I l o v e the way she does stiletto acrylics as well. I got one recently done before Valentines day and the shape was done so well, she also was swarovski crystals. cash only ! read more

I originally came to this nail spot because of a referral. Well I did not have such a good experience here. The first time I got a pedicure, which didn't last a full three weeks as it should it started chipping after two weeks.I had the lady at the first booth closest to the entrance. She also removed some gel polish, which she did a good job. However, the second time I had both a pedicure and gel manicure. The gel manicure lasted about a week and it started peeling a bit, they should last two weeks. The pedicure was really bad, the polish chipped off the first week I got it. I had originally picked a OPI brand nail polish but the lady said it wasn't good and she suggested I use a different brand so I trusted her opinion. Thinking about it I have always used OPI, and it has been fine. So I went in to had it redone and the lady at the far end booth said she was too busy and to come back at 7:45pm, It was about 3:30 and really she wanted me to come at closing time. I told them never mind and that I would not be going there again. They make it hard for walk-ins and expect you to come very late in the day. No time flexibility at all. They have low prices but with it you get low quality products and service. read more

It's $16 for gel manicure and $13 for pedicure, so in total it's $29 for BOTH gel manicure and pedicure, which is super cheap compared to other places. Yenni, Sisi, and Song are super nice. They're really nice to you, patient, and make you feel at home. I've been to other nail places and they're so rude and overpriced. Ladies, beware! I had my car at pep boys for a quick oil change, but on a Saturday there's nothing quick about it. So the guy told me it would be at least an hour, so I ventured out and ran into this place. I always love getting mani/pedis so i decided to go in. OOOOO MMMMM GGGGG! This place shares a space with a hair salon which leaves 200 square feet of space. No pedicure spa chairs and 3 nail tables. I went with just a manicure and thats only because I was embarrassed to leave after walking in. As I was getting my manicure I was dying to get out of there. The floors were filthy, I couldn't locate the sterilization equipment and the lady that was doing my nails kept shaking. I was terrified she was going to take a chunk of my finger with the cuticle cutter. Needless to say, my manicure was below average and the paint job was horrible, I had to take it off as soon as I got home. You get what you pay for, $ 7.00 manicure. read more
