So, I wasn't going to leave this review- I was just never going to come back…read more So I was getting Gel X done with extensions, the girl who helped me trimmed my cuticle and caused me to bleed a lot. In her panic, she put super glue on my cut to stop the bleeding, then put a washcloth back on it to stem the bleeding but ended up supergluing the washcloth to my finger. She then ripped the washcloth off my finger (which HURT) and had to spend 5min tweezing off the bits of washcloth that were not glued to my finger. She also gaslit me and said my skin was so thick, so it was my fault. Not only that- but she often applied too much glue and had to keep redoing her applications. Even after that horrific experience- I was going to let it go. I even tipped her $30 because I'm too nice and hate conflict. But we're barely 3 days in having these nails and already my thumb nail popped off in front of my friggin boss. Beware of this place. There's a reason why some people never return.

She was so gentle, really listened to what I wanted, and immediately understood the look I was going for after I showed her a few inspiration photos and explained that I wanted something more neutral. She absolutely delivered--I'm obsessed with my nails! One thoughtful touch that really stood out to me was that she applied sunscreen to my hands before placing them under the LED light. It's such a small detail, but it showed how much they care about their clients. They also offer complimentary drinks, and the overall customer service was exceptional. It hasn't even been a week (only been 4 days) and already 3 of my acrylics fell off. Although I have short nail beds, I've been getting acrylics on and off for the past 14 years and I've never had them fall off this fast. After I got home... I even had to file and re-shape them because of how uneven each nail was. The acrylics have no base curve and they're all flat and thin. They also weren't fully filled to the cuticle of the nail. So overall I don't think acrylics are really their specialty. My pedicure.. I got the higher end pedicure option with the callus remover and I left with my feet still rough on the bottoms. The polish was nicely done but I wish I just got the basic pedicure. Sadly won't be going back, even to get my nails fixed. 2 stars because of how nice the ladies were and the polish was.
