We were here for a family member's wedding recently. What an amazing venue this was. From the moment we arrived for the rehearsal the day before the wedding to the end of the reception on the big, the staff and service were first class and on point. The coordinator, Jordan, was reliable, helpful, friendly and available. It's hard to believe she has only been working here for a few months. The cocktail hour and reception were onsite at Cuvier Club and the wedding ceremony took place a five-minute walk away at the Wedding Bowl. Wedding Day couldn't have been more perfect with the full sun coming out of the foggy day a few minutes before the ceremony started. The only small hiccup was the security staff who were a bit rude and impolite to the guests. I think they are outsourced to a vendor so maybe a good idea for Wedgewood to take a look at that partnership for improvement opportunities. read more

We tied the knot at Cuvier Club on Nov. 2nd, 2025, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience with the folks at CC and Wedgewood Weddings. First and most importantly, the venue itself is beautiful. The adjacent garden courtyard is intimate yet spacious, and there are plenty of lovely plants growing to provide privacy from the street and a nice backdrop for your ceremony (the space was nice and green, even in November). The beach side ceremony space is incredible as well, though our guest count was a bit too high for that spot. CC is a five-minute walk from the beach for stunning photos, and we found it relatively easy to find parking near the venue on the day-of, which made loading in and out a breeze. The staff is A+, and the CC planning crew went above and beyond to alleviate the stress of planning a wedding. They were very responsive to questions, communicated clearly, and sought to listen to and understand my fiancee and I (which was appreciated when the "wedding brain" kicked in and we stopped being able to put together coherent sentences). Also important to note that we had a Hindu ceremony and CC had no trouble accommodating our requests! That was a huge relief for us, since as an interracial couple, we knew that our wedding needed to be a marriage of cultures as well. During our wedding weekend, coordinators Amanda and Tyler stepped up and made sure everything was running smoothly. Not only did they stay cool and calm throughout (which helped us stay calm as well!) they also made sure that we had everything that we needed. They checked in frequently and took care of us, and we could not be more grateful for their professionalism and guidance. Their attention to detail and demeanor meant that we were able to relax and actually enjoy our wedding weekend! The vendors that CC partners with are also phenomenal and do excellent work! Not to mention the food and drinks were incredible. We've received endless compliments about the drinks and food since the reception! The bartender for our event was very professional and mixed excellent cocktails. We brought in our own recipes for our signature drinks and the CC bartender (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) made them perfectly. The other standard cocktails were, according to our guests, also very well made and high-quality. We're so grateful and thankful that we found this venue! We never dreamed our wedding day would come together so perfectly, and it's all thanks to the folks at CC. I cannot recommend CC/Wedgewood Weddings enough. read more

We recently got married here, and despite the weather having chances of rain, the staff was very good at helping us brainstorm and manage our expectations. Mandi was our hero; she knew our vision, and we always felt informed and supported by her. Not to mention, the vendors the club recommended were wonderful and reputable. We had lots of great meetings, and even though there is a lot to decide for your own wedding, Mandi helped put us at ease time and time again. Lastly, our ceremony was a Hindu ceremony, and it was really helpful to have the option to do an indoor or outdoor wedding here in case of heavier rain--but we happened to luck out! I highly recommend Cuvier Club and definitely suggest going to their bi-yearly extravaganza, which is well worth the price to try out all they have to offer. Including everything in their Elite Package - photographer/videographer, florist, officiant, DJ, baker, wedding coordinator, and catering - just made organizing this day super easy, barely an inconvenience! Discounted rates for things like the photographer/videographer and the florist that work with them helped us save money for extra items not included in the package. There are two options for the ceremony - Garden or Wedding Bowl. We chose the Wedding Bowl to be married on the cliffside. There is a permit fee needed from the City of San Diego to make sure it's free for the big day. The wedding coordinator made sure the actual day went smoothly. It was a truly great experience. My daughter married at this venue. It's an all inclusive venue that offers different packages depending on budget. It was a beautiful day and we could not say enough good about this place. It's almost near the ocean in La Jolla and you can get photos taken by the ocean but you have to drive there. The venue offers all the professional staff needed to cater to every aspect of your special day and we definitely felt that way throughout the event. A non-negotiable for us was our ceremony at the wedding bowl. We secured the ceremony location first and then booked the Cuvier Club because of proximity and all inclusive. The staff is really what makes this venue. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to answer questions or help. All my inquiries were responded to within 24 hours. Amanda was our day of coordinator. She kept everything going and did a fantastic job with last minute hiccups. I don't think we could have gone wrong with any coordinator they provide but glad it was Amanda. Same for the banquet captain Devin. He made sure to check in on us all night and was super friendly. As far as the recommended vendors, we went with True Photography, ExtremeDJ, SDBest rentals. We had our pictures back in less than a week and the photographer/ videographer paid attention to exactly what we wanted and were easy to work with. The DJ did an amazing job. He was on point and worked extremely well with the coordinator/banquet captain to keep us on track. SDBest rentals was also easy to work with and provided us with the extras we needed. I can see why the venue recommends them all and we would also recommend them. We did not use the recommended florist (Emerald & Ivy). I reached out to them and the girl just seemed like they were too busy, so I ended up finding a different florist that was a better fit. One thing I will say is to double check everything and get it in writing. We got a quote when we initially toured the venue good for 30 days. Within those 30 days the venue had a price increase and instead of giving us our original quote when we were ready to sign the contract, they gave us a contract with the increased prices. Had I not noticed before we signed, we would have paid much more. Once I pointed it out, the email seemed like they were doing us a favor by honoring the original quote. Overall I would highly recommend Cuvier Club by Wedgewood Weddings if you are looking for an all-inclusive. Their staff is wonderful and made the whole process stress free. read more

Where to even begin...we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff (and vendors) at the Cuvier Club. This was the first and only venue we interviewed with and even though we had to do the interview over Zoom (we live in the Bay and didn't see the venue until two months before our wedding) talking to Anders made us instantly sure that this was the one for us. Not only did they make it really really easy because of the all-inclusive option but the vendors that are part of the package are phenomenal, each and every one of them. Planning a wedding from another part of the state is not easy but honestly, the staff of the Cuvier Club (especially Anders) made it feel like we were supported every single step of the way. As for the day of, Anders, Selina, and Morgan were ABSOLUTELY incredible! Selina asked all the right questions and gave the best support and Anders showed up to help "just because". We had crazy wind the day of and I was freaking out about it being too cold and they both made sure we were still able to pull off our vision perfectly. Morgan was by our side the whole reception making sure we were not only on schedule but AHEAD of schedule (when does that even happen?!) Our guests had nothing but incredible things to say about the food (Renato made the best cupcakes), the venue (Mishelle's florals were stunning), the music (Alex is awesome!), the bartender (Asher's the best!), and the party and many told us it was the best wedding they've been to (purely because of the amazing staff)! We just can't thank this venue enough for every part of this experience--we feel like we became friends with them throughout the past year and we recommend them times a million! My husband and I booked this venue for our 21st anniversary/wedding party. We renewed our vows at the Wedding Bowl and then had our reception/party at the Cuvier Club. From the moment we started planning a year ago, everyone was so helpful in planning our magical day the way we wanted it. They even gave us great ideas to make it even better! We had zoom meetings throughout the year to make decisions and plan things out. We used all of their recommendations for hair/makeup-Fuse, music-Supreme DJ entertainment (DJ Seize), flowers- Emerald & Ivy, cake- SugarBears, photo/video-True Photography, and Level up Event Design-custom digital gobo. The day of our Event, everything was so organized and everyone was ready to go. One thing that stood out to me the most was how calm and collected everyone was. When I showed up I was running late and stressing. Brianna and Amanda were so calm and reassuring that everything was going to be just fine. Seeing them calm and not stressing made me calm down and I was able to focus. They were amazing! They got me where I needed to be, and guided me the whole way through. I'm so grateful for them. She said that instead of trying to charge her for everything they tried to help her cut cost for her wedding and help her plan. She didn't feel pressured into overpaying for anything. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and had the reception inside. The place was super organized but also very convenient for guest. Walking from the ceremony area to the reception was quick and easy. She had a wedding of 160 and it was perfect with plenty of space inside. They had the buffet area right next to the dining area which made it easy. There was also a stage build in for the DJ and it was perfect. She got ready in the bridal suite area which was a super cute and large area. It was pinked out and perfect for girls to get ready but super photogenic. She had about 6 girls and it was more than enough room. Overall I would suggest this spot as a venue for any party. The only downside is parking can be difficult since it's in a neighborhood area. read more

The services at Cuvier club were very amazing. We Devin and I had our wedding services at Cuvier club last week. In regard to the day of services it was beyond perfect our coordinator Brianna was able to make sure everything ran smoothly. One big disappointment was the fact that we paid the charge for the vases and flowers for our guest to take home and we were told by our guests that the staff mentioned they they were unable to take the vases only the flowers. That was very embarrassing for us as we paid a lot of money until we clarified the fact that we had already paid for the vases and flowers. Some guests were unable to leave with the centerpieces, and that was again quite embarrassing. Devin and I paid for the elite services where services were told to be covered before speaking with the actual wedding coordinator a few weeks before. We were promised the lighting wall with our names and the love lettering on the stage at the venue and also games at cocktail hour however when we had our final meeting with the Brianna, our wedding coordinator, she pointed out that was going to be an additional charge. At this point we didn't even have the time to argue so we kindly declined, we were a bit disappointed because initially it was never implied to be an additional charge. We appreciate all the services that were offered. We loved the coordination and agendas to meet at particular times which helped us stay on top of the wedding date. We appreciate everything. We had a truly wonderful experience hosting our wedding at the Cuvier Club. We selected the Elite Package, and from start to finish, the team made everything seamless. Brianna guided us through all our planning meetings and answered every question--even when we hadn't done all our homework! On the big day, Karamia was our day-of coordinator and an absolute sweetheart. It was so true to us, we skipped public vows entirely. Wedgewood Catering: We went with the buffet and upgraded to prime rib--highly recommend! It was generous, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. The only small downside: the bridal suite doesn't have a restroom due to the historical design of the building (built in the 1920s). But otherwise, this venue was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend! read more

Cuvier Club was a dream venue for us. Jordan was our coordinator and she made everything so seamless and easy on the day. And the prompt and easy communication throughout the wedding planning process made the wedding planning process so much more easier to handle and manage. Devon was also a dream to work with for the evening of the wedding. He made sure all our decor and items were packed away, gave us some extra food to take home, and always made sure we had a drink in our hands. I don't know exactly where to start, but Cuvier Club was absolutely fantastic from the beginning to the end in making sure our day was special, and they succeeded in that a million times. My husband and I began our search in 2023 to find a wedding venue that was not only nice and beautiful, but also warm and welcoming as an lGbt couple. We toured a few of the other Wedgewood owned venues that were more local to us in Los Angeles, each with their pros and cons, but before deciding on one of those, we decided to humor ourselves and take the 3 hour trip down to La Jolla to tour the Cuvier Club, and I am SO glad that we did. The Cuvier Club is absolutely beautiful. From the plant life, to the magical interior and the absolutely breathtaking ceremony sites, we knew immediately that this was the venue for us. Our first impression of the Cuvier Club was made so incredibly special by Anders. She was so incredibly informative, and we instantly felt a connection and knew that we were in good hands with her. She showed us around the venue, the various ceremony sites, and told us so much about the local area for places to take our wedding photos, where to have rehearsal dinners, and things to do for fun. The entire team - Anders, Lauren, Mandi, and later Janae and Selina - were absolutely wonderful. They always had smiles on their faces, helping to make our wedding day the best it could be. Like any event, nobody is perfect and there were some small hiccups along the way, but nothing out of the ordinary, and nothing that made a huge problem that couldn't have been corrected with ease. On our wedding day, because we resonated with Ander so well, we requested her to be our day-of coordinator because we had so much confidence in her, as a fellow member of the lgbt+ family, to make our day the best it could be and we could tell deep down in her heart that she truly cared about us and wanted our day to be perfect, and it was. In addition to Anders, on our wedding day, Federico was our banquet captain with Sofia as our head server, and they were on it. They made sure we were taken care of at every moment, and I couldn't commend them any more than I already do. 10's, 10's, 10's across the board! From the DJ, to the officiant, to the planning team, to the management, you were all so fantastic and perfect, and I truly could not thank you enough, especially as a same-sex couple, for making our day as amazing as it could be. It's not often that gay couples find a match, and even less often that they get married due to bigotry and hatred still shared by so many people, but you will find NONE of that here. They didn't even slightly treat us any differently, and again, I cannot thank Anders enough for making us feel so welcome in the establishment. I would recommend this venue so highly to anybody, but I recommend it SO SO SO SO SO SO highly to anyone who may be a same-sex couple looking to find a venue that will accept them without hesitation. read more

What a magical experience working with the Cuvier Club team! From the initial tour of the venue to the several wedding planning meetings we had. They are SUPER organized, if that's what you're looking for, go with this venue!! No outside wedding coordinator is necessary, trust me, I was concerned about that! But they are all amazing! Our wedding was August 29, 2025 at the Wedding Bowl and reception was at Cuvier Club. Let me just say that our experience was absolutely incredible with all of the staff! Our coordinator was Amanda, she is so organized, professional and such an honor to work with! She didn't miss a beat the entire day. I want to point out that she had an injury to her foot and she didn't let that stop her. She has that "the show must go on" attitude. You can tell she loves what she does! She was direct with our rehearsal (which I loved) and helped me make decisions! She orchestrated our wedding day so beautifully, kept me calm and pumped me up before walking down the aisle. She was even in the mix helping my mom and MOH to bustle my wedding dress! We love a girls girl!! She even surprised us with a photo she must've taken on her phone and a personalized card waiting for us at our sweetheart table! What a nice, thoughtful touch! Devin, our banquet captain was also incredible. Super welcoming, accommodating and we never went without food/drinks! He was so calm, cool and collected. He kept the party going all night and helped us gather our belongings at the end of the night which was super helpful! He also wrote us a very sweet card, such a sentimental touch. Jordan and Marissa are also team members that we met with and helped us plan our wedding as well. Both were SO kind and offered great recommendations to help our day run smoothly. THANK YOU so much! From our first tour to the wedding day, the Cuvier Club was absolutely incredible to work with. Anders, who did our tour and worked with us a lot throughout the planning process, was so knowledgeable, very organized, and just a genuine delight to be around. She was so kind and an absolute blast. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly thanks to our coordinator, Janae, and banquet captain, Morgan. Janae exceeded all our expectations and made the reception space look so stunning. She has such an eye for decorations and just knows how to make everything look great. She also did a great job of keeping everything on track and I never had to worry about anything. Additionally, all of the catering things went super smoothly thanks to Morgan and she made sure that we had plenty to eat and that our cups were never empty. I would really highly recommend the Cuvier Club to anyone, but especially those who are looking for a venue that makes the wedding planning process less stressful and takes care of a lot of the smaller things. I loved that our package included food/drinks, the DJ, most florals, all tables/chairs/linens, etc. All of their vendors are really great. The florist did an outstanding job, the food, drinks, and desserts were all great, and the DJ kept the energy up throughout the whole night. The only vendors I needed to book separately were a photographer and hair and makeup artist. We also chose to remove the officiant from the package since we wanted a friend to do it. If you're considering the Cuvier Club for your wedding, do yourself a favor and just book it. The venue is stunning and the people are great. read more
