I had the best experience with Yanna and her beautiful dress shop. This was my third dress store and I went to so many stores and tired on probably over 100 dresses total. It was exhausting but my experience with Full Moon Bridal exceeded all the other stores. Her store was well stocked and I was on a time crunch since my wedding was just three months away since we decided to do a wedding venue after all. The dresses were well organized as I wanted something simple and elegant. When I went to Full Moon Bridal it was more of a personal experience unlike other stores. You had the whole store to yourself and friends if you chose to bring them. She was so helpful with helping me try on the dresses and I got to pick quite a few to try on versus being limited like other stores. I went to about 4 or 5 stores after hers and I knew the dress I tried on at her store was the one and went back. It was also in my price range! I had it altered with her and the dress fit perfectly and the length was spot on. I highly recommend going to Full Moon Bridal. Yanna is the best and my dress was perfect!!! My bridal dress journey was a roller coaster (and not in a good way) ... until Full Moon Bridal came to the rescue. Back in December 2024 I came here with a friend who was looking for a wedding dress as her wedding is coming up May 2025. Yanna is seriously the BEST! I have gone to many different bridal shops and everywhere, they were charging an arm and a leg for every alteration that needed to be done and the turnaround time takes about 4-6 months of delivery without alterations included! I love that Yanna isn't only just the owner of the bridal shop, but she is actually a DESIGNER herself. This means she can customize a wedding dress in any way you want and not have to charge you an arm and a leg like other places do. Most other places can't customize the dress the way you want your dream dress to be because they are not wedding designers themselves, they just try to sell you a dress they have in stock. The quality of Yanna's dresses is superb and high quality. Also, because she can make the customization for you, her turnaround time is significantly less compared to other places. My dress came back within 2 months!!! She is really awesome! I definitely recommend her over these other bridal shops! You won't be disappointed! read more

Update: April 2024 - Yanna followed through again on a gorgeous, sixteen-pound princess ballgown wedding dress. The material of the dress was high quality, sparkling on my big day. Like last time, I received many compliments on the dress, even from a wedding guest who works as a seamstress and is familiar with fabrics used for wedding gowns. I appreciated Yanna for customizing the dress so that I could fit in it after delivering triplets as my wedding ended up being eleven days after I gave birth. Long overdue review. My wedding was on August 2, 2024 (Kobe Year, IYKYK) I started searching for my wedding dress back in June/July of 2023. I wanted to start a year ahead to look around and browse what kind of dress I wanted and of course who would have my size as I was a thicker bride. A lot of the wedding dress shops I went to we more for smaller and petite sizes so it was very hard and frustrating. David's Bridal in Mission Valley was HORRIBLE, but I'll write that review on their website. I was almost set on 2 dresses I found in Del Mar, but decided to look at this Bridal shop as my last search. I honestly felt that I was losing hope on find THE dress and just settling on the ones I found and did love, but not IN LOVE with. Yanna.. oh how you put in certain perspectives on what kind of dress would look and feel better for my body. And that's just not the type, but the color as well. I never really put the color as an option as I was just planning on going the traditional "white" and didn't like how the non traditional "whites" looked on me at the other stores. Because of our cultural backgrounds, she understood with our type of skin completion that a more tanned/brownish pink would look better if I was trying to not go the traditional white dress. I told her what I was looking for which was something Hawaiian, but elegant and the 2 dress types that I was looking for. She pulled out a dress that I thought I never thought I would find. It had everything, every detail I was looking for in THE wedding dress, MY wedding dress that I was thinking of. I knew I fell IN LOVED the moment I saw myself in the mirror wearing it, with a few changes and alterations of course. But, non the less, it was the wedding dress of my dream. Now as I said earlier, I was more on the thicker side, so the dress I tried on was a bit small and she did tell me up front, usually she doesn't do more voluptuous brides, but she wanted me to have my dress and made it happen. I mean, I don't know what kind of designer would do that for you. I'm forever and beyond grateful for her. If you want a designer that is TRUTHFUL and SO SO SWEET! YANNA is your GIRL! She did a few appointments with me to make sure the wedding dress was PERFECT! I'm all for welcoming opinions and suggestions and Yanna did just that. They were helpful versus most brides will think it's judgmental. She put new views in a dress. I can honestly say, SHE WILL NOT GIVE UP on trying to find your dress. That I knew she really cared for her clients and not just trying to sell you a dress for the money. She is really caring and compassionate on what she does and extra bonus for her being the designer and being actually being the one to help you pick your dress. One on One. I have never had a worse experience with a business owner. Me and my fiancé own and operate a small family owned business and pride ourselves on integrity, honesty and good customer service. Yanna does not do the same. She way overcharged me. Ultimately did not even provide what I asked for and what she told me she would do and then refused to refund me even half of what I paid. In an effort of brevity, I will not go into too much detail here but please feel free to contact me for more information if you so choose. I have never left a bad review but feel obligated for any bride who is considering trusting this place with their dress. She ruined mine and essentially stole my money. I don't wish the same for you. UPDATE + RESPONSE - I was absolutely a client (first on May 9, 2023 and then picked up my dress on May 16, 2023). Here are the text messages to refresh your memory, Yanna. I'm shocked you don't remember as this was 2 weeks ago and either you have many horrible experiences, so this doesn't stand out to you, or you're attempting to mislead people by claiming this is not a real review. YANNA RUINED MY DRESS. And blamed me for it ... what?! lol I honestly don't leave many reviews on here but this one is worth my time so I can save you all from making the same mistake I did. I initially went to Yanna because I wanted to support a fellow female Asian owned business. Unfortunately, that worked out quite poorly. I went in asking for alterations in the back and around the waist. Yanna insisted on making alterations on the bottom to shorten it so I could "walk easier" which seemed okay at the time. I made it clear to her that I was going to be wearing heels down the aisle so as long as it's long enough for me to wear heels, I'd be okay with it. She agreed. Since I wasn't anticipating on making alterations to the bottom, I didn't bring my heels. Yanna said, "that's okay, just bring your heels when you come back to try it on after alterations." She proceeded to have me stand on the box which is probably elevated to the height of heels so I assumed that she as the professional knew what she was doing. When I came back to pick up my dress, Yanna 40 minutes late (my poor mother in law was being so patient waiting in the heat with me - huge shout out to her). She rushed me to try on my dress since she had another client coming in. I honestly didn't even recognize my dress and had to ask her "is this my dress?" When I tried on my dress, I was - like Yanna said to be - in heels. I think Yanna saw how ugly my dress looked in heels since she immediately said "can you just, not wear heels?" MY HEART DROPPED when I looked in the mirror to see my once beautiful dress transformed into a choppy, ugly dress. I'll post pictures to the bottom of my dress before alterations and after alterations for you all to judge for yourself. Not only was my dress too short - not just for heels but when I was BAREFOOT - but the hem was very choppy and did not look like professional work. Since Yanna's next client came in, she rushed me out the door and told me to pick up my dress the next week. Later on, I texted her simply asking if there's anything she could do to fix the bottom or the length of my dress. She proceeded to say that she sees no damage and did nothing wrong. Now, you all can be the judge of that... I only could say whether or not she thinks she did something wrong, the damage is done and could only politely ask if she could fix it. When she continued to avoid the question and even went so far to say it was my fault I didn't like the outcome, I said that I'd have to take my dress somewhere else to get it fixed. I politely asked for my dress back - a text she did not respond to... and then realized if she doesn't give me my dress back I could technically take her to court. She most likely got frightened so she said she'd try to fix it and if I would pay her full price ($530) I could pick up my dress. Honestly, what bride has the capacity to go to court before her wedding date? I decided to be the better person and just pick up my dress. I had my sister pick up my dress for me since I actually live 2 hours away. She was quite upset that Yanna made her wait 15 min too... and uh... I'll post another picture close up of how choppy and short the bottom is. That's the final product. Worth $530? I think not. Because of Yanna, I had to find a dress less than 2 weeks away from my wedding date. She had no empathy for my situation, did a shitty job on my dress, refused to even discount my purchase (and actually came back around to say if I didn't pay her in full, SHE would take me to court...), and was just a horrible person to work with. I really still cannot believe I had this experience! My friends still want me to push charges and make her pay for the damage on my dress and the dress that her poor work forced me to go out to purchase. Is it worth it? Maybe. In the meantime, you all can be the judge of her work. If you want to risk it, go for it. But I know there are much better dresses and dress alteration services out there with owners and people who genuinely care about you as the bride. Don't sell your wedding experience short! This review would be zero stars if that were a possibility. read more
