The restaurant has changed for the better over the years and my last review. We like to sit out back in the summer. The food has improved but many times we have been there the bar tender also has to be the server and that makes their job harder. We especially like their wings, burgers and specialty salads and their weekly specials. We wish there was a booth or 2 on the bar side. The high tops are tippy. read more

I got the cube steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and corn. Truthfully it was probably a bad choice to get that at a bar, with that being said it was OK. Cube steak is basically a burger with gravy, so that was OK. The gravy tasted artificial... corn is corn, so that was fine... The mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant. It tasted like a TV meal... The service was friendly and everything was made fast. My friend had the burger and said it was good, the fries were overcooked, too dark and dried out. read more

Ignore the old reviews from over 4 years ago, this place has amazing food and very friendly bartender and cook! We went here solely for food and you know we went there expecting normal bar food. Bland, microwaveable, and simple. This place blew away my expectations of bar food! I got a burger called the sunrise burger and I have never had a burger so tasty! It was also humongous so i had to take some home, well worth the price(which wasn't too bad to begin with.) My friend ordered vodka pasta and it tasted just like homemade, i love me some penne al vodka but restaurants can never get the taste quite right, this place got it so right. The sauce was creamy, sweet, not too much not too little, the absolute definition of perfection! The bartender even had the curtesy to ask us if our food was good after she saw us stuffing our mouths even with being so full. We both said absolutely and we will definitely be coming back, although it is an hour away from where I live. The only thing is we paid after we finished eating like a normal restaurant/bar and we asked if we could pay with apple pay and they had no clue what apple pay was. We were able to pay with apple pay eventually when the cook took us back because there is a register that lets you use apple pay but that was a little scary because i would never walk out without paying especially with food like that lol. read more

It's been years since I've eaten at this bar-restaurant. We looked at the specials and immediately were interested. Mom and I enjoyed a light dinner at this Main Street establishment. We ate at a small square table with 2 chairs looking out a front window onto the street. We were here during happy hour (5-7 pm Sunday evening). For $4 each, we enjoyed a Sangria--one peach and the other a blueberry lavender. Both were so refreshing! We shared a 1 pound bowl of littleneck clams. The clams were perfectly cooked and served in a scampi lemon-garlic-cheese broth. Wedges of garlic bread accompanied the dish. We ate every scrumptious tender clam and scooped every bit of broth. We drenched our garlic bread wedges in broth, too. Luckily for the establishment, we didn't have to loudly slurp! We are looking forward to returning and enjoying the homemade artichoke dip. Cuz-N-Joe's Place was exactly what we wanted in an outdoor bar. They have so many picnic tables set up -- all spread out so you're not in close quarters with any other diners -- and cute little string lights that wrap around the wooden fence that surrounds the property. All the servers seemed to be wearing masks and our waitress (I'm almost positive her name was Cassidy) was a perfect mix of giving us space but always somehow knowing when to come back to take more food/drink orders. I can vouch for their Long Island Iced Teas, which were super yummy. I was also impressed by their pitcher of green tea shots. The one thing I will say though is that their drinks seemed to veer on the lighter side when it comes to alcohol content. The French Onion Soup really hit the spot. It is near impossible to get that melty cheese wrong!! It was a bit too salty though. Really can't complain for a soup that was only $5. Would totally love to come back. read more

A group of 5 arrived for a few drinks and something to eat, bar seating was full so we sat at 2 small tables. Bartender came out from behind the bar to take our drink order... told her we also wanted food menus. Drinks were served a few minutes later, no food menu, had to ask for food menus. After waiting 20 minutes for her to come take our order, we opted to just leave and go somewhere else. Cuz-N-Joe's might be a good place for the locals to go, but apparently not so much for strangers. read more

I recently discovered this pub a few weeks ago. I've been there twice so far and have enjoy both times. They offer the typical draft beers but also have a few beers from a local microbrewery on tap. I've had the chicken wings and fajitas and they were both excellent! The parking lot is a little small but it's a great place to hit up for dinner sometime! read more

If you want to get food, you can't. If you want to get service, you can't. The bar gets very busy, which is no fault of the bar tenders. However, she favors one side of the bar and waits on one single customer at a time rather than filling multiple beers at a time. The atmosphere is not much better and the bathrooms are less than sanitary. The women's toilet had feces stuck to it and the tiles on the floor are lifted so you are sure to trip. Although there are 2 toilets to one bathroom they are shared between men and women and one is always clogged. If you're looking for a great atmosphere and wanting to get served go somewhere else. If you're hellbent on coming here... stay to the left of the bar. You'll have a better chance at getting served. read more

I was always a big fan of this. My family and I have come here for years. Whenever family was in this is where we would go. This was always our "go to" place. The last two times we have come here the experience was not good. The quality has drastically gone down hill. My daughter ordered a burger with nothing on it. They put cheese on it. We sent it back. They literally washed the cheese off of it. Last week we went she ordered a plain burger and they put mayo on it. The wings were over cooked. Finally they served my beer in a plastic cup. I'm not at a backyard bbq. I'm at a restaurant. I hate to say it but that will probably be my last visit. read more

I grew up surrounded with BBQ in the south. It's been 5+ years since moving away. The hubs and I were traveling through the area. According to Yelp, this place says "barbeque." I wanted this place to be good as I was yearning for a taste of my childhood. Alas, it was disappointing. No barbeque on the menu. Holy mother of bacon! I have never seen so much bacon on a BLT or club sandwich in my life. Seriously. After ordering a club sandwich at Cuz-N-Joe's, every time you order one elsewhere, you'll look at it and think "What the heck is this poverty sandwich? Gimme some bacon like at Cuz-N-Joe's!" I really can't stress enough just how awesome the amount of bacon is. And it's not floppy sloppy chewy bacon--it's perfectly crunchy without breaking your teeth or being burnt or tasting like it's leftover from yesterday's breakfast. Nomnombacon! You have to be careful with Cuz-N-Joe's though--figure out what they do well, then stick with it. It's not really a place to get adventurous and try everything on the menu... unless maybe you have some sick masochistic tendencies and enjoy disappointment... The Reubens suck. Don't do it. And the potato skins are just plain sad: they're tiny, they're dry, a little rubbery, no flavor at all, and you pay like $8 for 5 of them. They won't even throw in an extra for a table of 6. Avoid! The fries are pretty good. The boneless mild wings are a bit on the hot side (definitely not mild) but tasty, and we don't hesitate to order those. Hard to go wrong with a burger. And of course, you've got to try the club sandwiches and BLT. So. Much. Bacon. Frozen/blended drinks are hit or miss. They use some kind of slushie machine that freezes the mixture instead of blending it with ice. Ordered a pina colada at 4 in the afternoon one hot summer day... won't do that again; it came out as pure liquid and not a single chunk of ice was seen that day. Sent it back and the waitress apologized and was nice about it. No charge. If you go at night and see the slushie machines running with frozen-looking drinks, go for it! They're tasty and have just the right amount of booze. The patio is great during the warmer months, and they use patio lamps to throw heat and extend the outdoor dining season. Thumbs up! A few tables could use a bit more shade if you go early in the afternoon, but we've always been able to find a good one, as it typicalky doesn't get busy until later. The furniture is comfy and sturdy. Everything is kept clean and it's rare to see empty plates or dirty glasses sitting on tables, even when they're understaffed. Parking is a bitch. If you get there early or on a slow night, you're fine. But on a night with live music or a ufc night, forget it. The lot fills quickly and a lot of the neighbors won't hesitate to call the cops if you're obstructing their driveway view or parked too close to their houses or if your car is the wrong shade of blue. Get there early or on a slow night and avoid the parking mess. Overall, would recommend/10. read more

Horrible... We went in, sat down and the bartender came and asked what we wanted to drink. We told her, however she never brought menus. 5 minutes later we got our drinks and she said you forgot the menus. She then brought the menus. After deciding what we wanted, we waited and waited. We then noticed the bartender was outside having a smoke. She came in and continue waiting on people at the bar. We finally got up, paid for the two drinks and left. Never a had a bad meal. My husband and I enjoy the ambiance and the food is always delicious. We love the fresh cut fries and buffalo wings. We always say we are gonna get wings and fries then we see the specials and end up trying them. Never disappointed ! We also love the back patio. Dining al fresco is our favorite thing to do in general. This one is our favorite "go-to"outdoor- dining-chilling- having-drinks kind of place. The owners and staff are always attentive and courteous. We will always be returning customers if everything stays as it is! One last thing, we love that it is now a non-smoking establishment!
