We've ordered pizza 3 times from the new, stylish Cuzin's Midlo and it's been excellent each time.. It's not the cheapest pie in town, but that's because the folks at Cuzin's are using quality ingredients.. prepared in the same ovens that Mid-Villa used for years. Homemade sausage on their deep dish pizza in balls as big as meatballs. A delicious, crispy crust that actually tastes like something.. Real cheese that's gooey and full of flavor. Real chunks of fresh mushrooms - not from a can. Wow. Refreshing. There are plenty of cheap pizza options close by that will fill a hole in your stomach, but don't try and reheat the leftovers the next day... Using cheap, imitation cheese and flavorless sauce never holds up the next day.... Bottom line.... You get what you pay for. If you like real pizza - made with love - try Cuzin's. A great food selection, but a dismal craft beer selection. It's all macro except two options from Blue Island Beer Company, so those make me a happy camper. I will miss the days of punk rock and craft beer from An Seanachi very much, but I can't deny that I'm happy to have such a nicely run business take its place. The bartenders (all female?) are all very kind, and strong women too I might add. You can tell they've been doing it forever and I think their experience shows in a good way. Lots of "what can I get for you hun(s)?" which I don't mind at all. The food alone is worth stopping in to check out, just be aware it's mostly high table seating & very dark in there. Maybe not the best place for a date unless you sit at the bar, but it's a great spot to hangout with friends. The only thing left from the An Seanachi days are the bathrooms, otherwise the entire place has been completely updated/renovated. I don't often come home to the suburbs, but when I do, we order from Cuzin's because its the closest pizza available. On three separate occasions, we've ordered a sausage and green olive pizza. On three separate occasions, we've received a sausage and green pepper pizza. Personally I'd avoid them after one wrong order, but my family seems instant to give them business. Ordered pizza and wings for delivery for the first time today. The pizza was awesome! I couldn't find anything that I didn't like. The sauce had a touch of sweetness, crust was thin, proper amount of cheese, ingredients were fresh, and it was all cooked perfectly. The wings were a little on the mild side, they were cooked well and tasty. Delivery was very prompt and the ETA given was accurate. This place has been open for about a month in the former Mid-Villa Pizza space. I like to support new businesses, so I thought I'd give it a try. This is some of the worst pizza I've ever had. Seriously. I'd say it's slightly better than Chuck E. Cheese. Even Pizza Hut and Domino's are better. Here's the list of things that were wrong: 1. Bland sauce. I'm not a fan of overly sweet sauces, but I like to be able to tell it's there. 2. Flavorless cheese. Most places use a mix of cheeses. This tasted like plain old mozzarella. 3. Skimpy toppings. I ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. If I hadn't ordered mushrooms, I wouldn't have known they were there. Bottom line: Don't order from here. There are other better pizza places like Kenootz in the area. read more

I've been here several times now and I must say they are very consistent. The food is very good and the portions are generous. Prices are also responsible. Especially on Monday nights when the pizza is half price and Wednesday is $.50 wings! Service is sometimes an issue. While all the servers are very nice, some of them are less than efficient or attentive, especially if you don't sit directly at the bar! Overall a fun, and very SMALL place. I ordered a take out deep dish..I got to cuzins a bit early and was greeted at the bar by Terry. She was very nice and professional. I decided to have a beer while i waited..the place was a bit on the smaller side but they utilized the space well. It was well lit and very clean. After i paid Terry for the pizza and beer I took it home for the family to try it..they all agreed it was the best deep dish in town! I'll be honest, I used to be a big Beggars fan! After trying Cuzin's pizza I can honestly say I have not had a Beggars pizza since. The customer service is great and the price is right! Seems great at first but ends awfully. We had a great meal and got drinks but when the bill game the bartender tried to charge us for extra drinks that we didn't even get and didn't believe us and dismissed us when we tried to explain we didn't get them. Took an 1 hour and 40 minutes to get our pizzas (the first ones). One was ice cold and the other was on one side of the box. They sent us new pizzas (3 hours after we ordered) and its got to be some of the worst slop Ive had. We threw all FOUR pizzas in the garbage and went to get McDonalds. Hope they enjoy my 35 bucks cuz thats the last of my cash their getting. IF thats real cheese Ill eat my hat. Looked like plastic. A complete insult to Chicago pizza. We are not picky people and NEVER complain about things. This is my first Yelp EVER. If real cousins own this place they should move to opposite ends of the earth and never speak again. I tried pizza several times it is ok. I still find kenootz to be better pizza and kenootz has better wings they also have 18" and 20" pizzas as to where cuzins does not. Bartender is very nice beer is overpriced. Pizza is overpriced. Wings are overcooked. I will stick with kenootz. read more

I tried the pizza and it was just ok.. They use a sweeter type of sauce and a softer crust and I prefer a more basil seasoned sauce with a crispy crust. WORST. PIZZA. EVER. I really had high hopes for this pizza and have been wanting to try it since they moved into the neighborhood. It was half price night, so what did I have to lose. Apparently half price also meant half flavor. I mean, aside from the pizza being burnt, there was very little sauce and toppings on the pizza. What I could taste of the sauce, I did not enjoy... way too sweet. Although the sweetness was quickly diminished by the burnt crust taste. Very disappointed in this pizza. They claim to know Chicago style thin crust pizza on their website, but I beg to differ. I've had better frozen pizzas. Pizza, even bad pizza, is okay. This was so bad and disappointing that it made me pissed I even thought twice about this place. I was pretty close to ordering a pizza from a more consistent place that I trust, Beggar's, Blarney Stone or even Simply Slices!
