We used CV BBQ to cater our daughter's wedding March 1, 2025. It was at an out door venue in Coachella. The set up was beautiful and all the staff were phenomenal. We came in right at 10:30 as the place was opening. First we had to decide between breakfast and lunch and chose lunch. The loaded tots and the tri-tip sandwich were delicious. We also tried the mac n cheese, which was also good. The food came out quickly, the servers were friendly, and the place was busy the whole time we were there. Called in a breakfast burrito order. After hanging up, employee calls me back saying they are out of eggs. I say that's ok, I'll order anyways since I know it will still be good. I get to the restaurant and employee tells me the owner went to the store to buy eggs. WOW!!! Didn't expect this. Long story short, the burrito was outstanding. Well portioned and tasty. We were craving BBQ, and being new to the area, of course we had to check out Yelp to help guide us and we found a winner! CV BBQ is located in an industrial area - parking in the back complete with the enticing aroma wafting through the air. We were going to just get it to go, but the vibe inside was so chill and friendly, we decided to stay and eat in. I got a two meat plate with pulled pork and linguica sausage with sides of corn and deviled egg potato salad. My husband got the chicken and tri-tip with BBQ beans and corn and we shared. Everything was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the chicken which was moist and flavorful. The pork was a tiny bit salty, but I have a weird salt thing so that could just be me. The sides are quite good but that potato salad...it's on another level. Sweet and spicy sauces are on each table along with plenty of napkins. I'm looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Hoping pork ribs make a showing on the regular menu someday, but for now they are just on the catering menu. Service is top notch. We've found our new BBQ place. read more
