This review is in regard on how they handle film photos. First of all, this CVS didn't even bother to call or inform me when my film came in. I had to call myself to see if it was ready and it was. (Probably was ready for a few days). With that being said, if they had contacted me once the photos came in, I would be a bit more satisfied. The bald pharmacist was extremely rude and condescending. Flat out refused my prescription discount card without even looking at it. he said "we don't take coupons". I said "I got it from the cvs app for this location". like a rude robot he said "we don't take coupons". again without looking at the card. as I was paying the lady for the overpriced meds, he walks over and stand in front of me. Again with the very monotone voice says "did you have a question?" I said "no". Then he looks at my prescription and says "This medication could cause you to commit suicide". i will never go back there again, 6 years on the same medication filled by cvs Agoura hills and I've never been treated with such disrespect. Ok I get it CVS is 7/11 on steroids with a pharmacy. It's not the Nordstrom's of convenience stores but rather a neighborhood pit stop for whatever tickles your fancy... If you set your expectations accordingly your good to go. 3.5 stars! The store itself is a melting pot of almost anything imaginable of household goodies, make up, healthcare and quick grab and go food and beverages. The service is a crapshoot from person to person shift to shift and runs the gamut with ex DMV / Postal employees who hate you, there job, there life and CVS. In addition to the eager, energetic staffer who aspires to please and make assistant manager. The pharmacy is like a self contained city within CVS wherein the staff is educated, caring albeit slammed throughout the day. The Pharmacy is always crazy busy and can feel much like commodities trading on the brokerage floor with the yelling, screaming and moronic people who claim that there medical Marijuana and Viaga prescription is from there primary care physician in Pakistan and covered by there cousins Obamacare policy in New Jersey paid with a four party out of state non endorsed check lol Omg the people watching is incredible but having a litany of misguided morons with an IQ hovering around room temperature jonesing for drugs is a reality show! Seriously you can't dream this stuff up its a sitcom. I keep looking for the hidden cameras and the staff of Punk'd to appear at any minute. Just moved to the area and decided to try this Horrible pharmacy! Prescription sent in by ER but when I went to pick it up they were closed already at 6pm. Went back the next day and they told me the medication ordered is out of stock and has been out of stock at all cvs stores for three months. This is not true because my normal cvs pharmacy in WH filled it a month ago. They said that they faxed the ER to request a substitute for the rx but told me "they probably won't respond" and "the ER knows that this medication is back ordered" If this was true, why would the doctor prescribe it?? I proceeded to contact the ER department and they told me they do not respond to fax or email and the pharmacy needs to call them. Went back to the pharmacy and was very rudely (again) told that "we are not calling them. Our doctor here is just as busy as the doctors in the hospital " Are you kidding me!!?? So I had no option to get the medication unless I wanted to go back to the ER again. I went without and suffered for it. The rudest, most arrogant pharmacist or pseudo doctor I've ever spoken with. Stopped by today to get some disposables developed - they used to develop film on-site and it would take a few hours. The guy ignored me, asked what I was waiting for (I was in front of photo...), made me fill out forms, then when I handed them over mentioned they were now being sent out so I wouldn't get back for weeks. Since I arrived in this area almost a year ago, this CVS has not improved a bit! It is still woefully understaffed and you wait in line for at least 20 minutes whether you're picking up or dropping off. This was by far the MOST unprofessional service I've ever received retiring an Rx. The male Pharmacist on duty was a nightmare to deal with and had the audacity to toss my Rx across the counter because of his own lack of listening & comprehension getting a name and DOB correctly validated. It was embarrassing how many times I had to repeat the same information numerous times. This is how you treat patients? You definitely should NOT be working in the healthcare field. Appalling! I just attempted to use this pharmacy for the first time this evening, after the Rite-Aid down the street closed this past Wednesday. I needed a prescription filled, which my doctor authorized. Upon calling to check on the status, I encountered the hands-down rudest pharmacist of my life. He told me that my prescription had been picked up on December 7th. Totally bizarre and not possible seeing as how I've never used this pharmacy. He then accused me of trying to abuse my medication and told me "we are done." You can imagine my response wasn't exactly polite but this is truly insane behavior from the so-called pharmacist. I have escalated this matter to a friend in the regional corporate office. I understand and applaud the need to control prescription medications, but to treat a customer like this was beyond. I am so disappointed in this pharmacy. Absolutely no coordination, communication, or ability to function at a normal level. They gave us multiple conflicting answers that caused us to nearly miss being able to give our son his epilepsy medication. I work in healthcare and know it is a complicated system, but cannot believe how poorly this team functions and especially how rude they are to patients. As I sit here writing this review I can hear the pharmacist, Michael Levitt, as well as the tech making fun of patients. Michael is loudly commenting for the whole waiting area to hear about how ridiculous it was that a mom requested her daughters medication be urgently filled after her daughter's cosmetic surgery. Another pharmacy slam. They are clearly understaffed. The wait time is abominable. The staff is surly. And, yes, look over your prescriptions before you step away from the counter. I waited in line 15 minutes to pick up my meds only to be told that my insurance had to be updated. I was sent to the drop-off counter, whereat I was again forced to wait. Of course, the clerk at the counter told me that my account had previously been updated and that I could go back to the pickup counter. After waiting in line AGAIN I was told my prescriptions weren't ready. I was invited to wait the additional 15-20 minutes it would take to fill my prescriptions. I showed the tech the text message I had received advising me that my meds were ready, but she just repeated herself. Make sure your phone is charged. I have always been unhappy with this pharmacy but my insurance seems to prefer it. The service is always slow, the young people who ring you up are rude. They send texts sometimes more than once a day saying your Rx is ready/will be held for 8 days and on the same day, got a voice msg saying they are putting them back on shelf! So I ran over there to get them and they gave me the wrong Rx-luckily I looked in bag as I was walking away. When I asked to speak w/mgr, she refused to speak w/me saying she was working on correcting my order. I waited at least 10 min, repeatedly saying " may I speak w/you?" because I had some other issues to discuss. They don't care if you bring your business elsewhere. The meds I was getting were for my dog, so not even covered by ins. I'm sure Costco pharmacy will be cheaper anyway. Go anywhere else if you can!!! read more

One of CVS (Store #9751) employees was extremely rude in yelling at my wife in front of all the customers waiting in the queue behind her. He yelled arguing that a valid coupon is invalid. He was neither willing to listen nor want to pay attention to what is there on the coupon including date. Finally he honored the coupon saying that he won't accept such coupons in future, but it was insulting and traumatic experience she never experienced in her life. When did customer service deteriorated to this pathetic level in this country. I want to escalate it to the CVS customer grievance cell, if they have one. read more

I always use CVS on Kanan in Agoura Hills. I get my prescriptions filled there. The cosmetic department is great. I also appreciate all the coupons I get in the mail and on my phone. This review is for the pharmacy, not for the store itself; the store itself is pretty standard as far as pharmacies go, and I haven't had any problems there, so 5 stars, if that means anything. However, the pharmacy gets 3 stars from me, and I'll tell you why: 1) God help you if you need to speak to a pharmacy staff member over the phone. Expect to be put on hold for an inordinate amount of time, because it seems to me that the phone is secondary to them, even if they don't have any customers in line. 2) While many of them are nice, there's this one girl (I think her name is Gabby) who is pretty rude, and if CVS pays attention to its Yelp reviews, I highly encourage the management to talk to her about her attitude. 3) They've gotten better in recent memory, but before they revamped their pickup section of the pharmacy, the lines sometimes got really long, and to a lesser extent, this still happens. Normally this would have been enough to take them down to 2 stars, but because their system is better than it used to be, I'm giving them 3. TL;DR, It's not a bad place, but the pharmacy section does need some more structure and better customer service standards. As I've said, 3 stars. read more

2.5 stars. Totally agree with Erika V: 24 hours is the best feature of this store, for sure. Typical CVS with all the typical CVS stuff. This is a mid-sized CVS. Where it kinda goes sideways for me is at the pharmacy. For about six months they couldn't find my prescription information and although I struggled and struggled they never got it right. I was buying my Rx's at retail. Good thing I don't take many meds. Well, CVS finally got my insurance right, and now all I am paying is a copay. One hurdle crossed. The other hurdle I invariably face is that it takes too bloody long when dropping off a new Rx. Plan on at least 5, but usually 10, minutes to stand in line and then have the clerk take your info and input it into the computer. It should take 30 seconds to confirm my records in the computer. It should take another 30 seconds to confirm the meds are in stock, followed by a simple, "Your prescription will be ready in about 15 minutes." That's not the way it works here, though. I give the whole process the better part of an hour, from drop off to pickup. Rx refills and phone-ins usually involve standing in line, too (see the photo I just uploaded). This is due to the fact that the pharmacy is just plain busy. The place is convenient, however, and again, it is 24 hours. Just remember that all patients should bring their patience. read more

In the past I have had good experiences here at the CVS. I brought mine 85-year-old mother here for her first two vaccinations. Today on December 3, 2021 I brought her in for her booster shot. The employee that worked the waiting area was very nice but the woman that administered the shots Was very curt and not very clear and almost rude to my mother.Just an FYI that if you make your booster shot appointment late in the day that you might get a grumpy person to administer your shot. read more

I've filled several prescriptions at this particular CVS. The staff is polite enough when dealing with their customers, but regardless of the day or time or how many customers are there they are always slow! Slow as in a 10-15 minute wait turns into 30-40 minutes. The most recent incident that caused me to finally write this review was due to a prescription that I dropped off and was informed that the medications were ready to be picked up. My prescription was dropped off Friday, I received a call Monday, and I stopped by Tuesday. I speak with the young lady at the counter and inform her that I'm ready to pick up my meds. She asks for all the pertinent information then informs me that my prescriptions haven't been filled. I inform her that I received a call that my medication was ready and I asked why it hasn't been filled yet when the prescription was dropped off Friday. She ignored my question and stated that if I wanted to wait for it to be filled it would take 10-15 minutes. I said that's fine. 20 minutes later...I follow-up on my medication. She looks a bit confused and asks one of the pharmacists what was going on. They still DID NOT start filling my medication! No one informs me of a status update other than it'll just take another minute. A gentleman that was working behind the counter without a name tag asked the young lady in a hushed tone if I was waiting for the medication, she said that I was and he just shook his head, laughed, and continued on. So not only is his insulting me by finding it amusing that the pharmacy is wasting my time, but he doesn't even bother to hide it. What kind of BS customer service is that?! Finally one of the pharmacists comes to the counter and tells me that he's working on filling my medication and that it's going to be another minute or two. There was some sort of mix-up and they thought that it was filled already when it wasn't. After 40 minutes...I finally get my medication and get to leave. No one was apologetic for their mistakes, nor did anyone seem to care that they're behind schedule. I understand they're busy, but so are the individuals that come in to see them. It's extremely rude to waste people's time and still not have a care in the world about it. Be warned, expect to waste A LOT of time trying to get your prescriptions filled or even picked up. This review is for the actual pharmacy. In the past month I have had to return there four times due to mistakes on their part. The instance that set me over the edge is when they actually gave me the wrong amount of Allergy medication, so I gave them a call the same day regarding the missing pills. They were incredibly rude over the phone and I had to argue with them to get them to give me the missing pills. On top of that they demanded that I return the night of, and when I said I couldn't they questioned me why. Incredibly unprofessional and rude for something that was their mistake. Just went in to grab a couple things and when we went to check out the cashier was having a social hour with a customer who had clearly finished ringing up way before. We waited a very long time and the cashier didn't seem to care that he was waiting out time. Mind you it's 11pm and a pandemic. We don't want to be out longer than we have to so we went to self check out but I had an issue and needed help. The cashier took awhile to get to me. When he finally came over he completely ignored my question because he was still talking to the other customer. I love this cvs ! It's convenient and close to my house and the staff is always super helpful! I love coming in and seeing Natalya Poyedis.. I believe she's a manager but every time I come in she greets me with a warm smile and engaging conversation. As soon as I enter everyone greets me and asks if I need help finding anything and how's my day! I appreciate that effort because a small gesture can really make someone's day!
