Just went in to grab a couple things and when we went to check out the cashier was having a social hour with a customer who had clearly finished ringing up way before. We waited a very long time and the cashier didn't seem to care that he was waiting out time. Mind you it's 11pm and a pandemic. We don't want to be out longer than we have to so we went to self check out but I had an issue and needed help. The cashier took awhile to get to me. When he finally came over he completely ignored my question because he was still talking to the other customer. It was the worst service I've gotten there & the funny thing is the cashier never looked at me or answer my question, he just ignored me and kept on with his conversation. This is a CVS. It is clean and well-stocked, as it should be considering the upper-middle class neighborhood it resides in. It probably needs new carpet, otherwise the service is consistently efficient, but the self-checkout computers are down at least half the time I'm in there, which doesn't work when there is only one person at the counter, doing their best. Average, good if you need toiletries or a 5th of Vodka...they have that too, pretty well stocked booze section. read more

I love this cvs ! It's convenient and close to my house and the staff is always super helpful! I love coming in and seeing Natalya Poyedis.. I believe she's a manager but every time I come in she greets me with a warm smile and engaging conversation. As soon as I enter everyone greets me and asks if I need help finding anything and how's my day! I appreciate that effort because a small gesture can really make someone's day! Went there this morning to pick up a couple things and the Cashier says.. "Ugh, you smell like cilantro." WTF?? I told him it's not me, I haven't had any cilantro. I just had a blueberry Rx bar. I wanted to believe in the concept of the minute clinic, particularly weekends when your GP is not available. However my first visit provided a misdiagnosis which could have lead to eye sight loss if not caught by my doctor the following week. Be cautious with what you go there for. For the simple things you know the solution for (sinus infection, etc), maybe. Instead, go to one of the small urgent care facilities in the neighborhood that staff a doctor and are thorough. This adds to my disappointment with their pharmacy. Overall, I now avoid CVS for everything. It's unfortunate. read more

Dropped my prescription off a week ago called to confirm it was ready. the guy said yes give him an hour and went down there and they can't seem to find the prescription or anything about it. I went to pick up two prescriptions for my wife. I told the person at the counter that there were two and she brought me one, which is the one that had been filled today. The other had been filled a few days previous. When I mentioned there should she be another prescription she didn't try to go look for it or check the computer. She said the other one must not be ready yet. I paid for the prescription that was there and told her my wife had received a text. I said I will get the number from the text for her. I stepped aside to text my wife for the information. The clerk walked away (I thought she was going to look for the medicine). When she came back she started helping other customers without a word to me. So, I left. The receipt had the name Farida. There was no effort to help me. So, no I will have to go back later with the information show the notice that the prescription has been filled. I didn't want to leave my wife home alone too long since she just came home from surgery. This isn't this first time I have had this poor level of service from this CVS. read more

They are always in stock of what I am looking for, and the cashiers always give help when needed. They make sure I find what I'm looking for and ensure that I am happy shopping there. read more

When offered help to fill perscriptions she stated things that were untrue and found any way she could to not help or interact at all with my health insurance company. Three separate incidents over a 3 year period prompted me to write this review: 1. I had gotten antibiotics for my son and the girl on staff neglected to fill it with water and mix it. So I needed to come back. All the while during my transaction she was texting back-and-forth on her phone. And.. 2. I went in to purchase two packs of children Zyrtec, once I got home I realized they only give me one. When I called the person who picked up first told me she remembered me & said I had to bring in my receipt to get the second box of Zyrtec that I had paid for but was not given. I don't know about you but I generally trash receipts of items that I know I will use right away. So had I not had a receipt, she said she could not give me the product I paid for. And.. 3. They gave my husband the wrong medication & it could have turned out REALLY bad had he not noticed. Instead of giving him his allergy meds, they gave him heart medication! I feel like the pharmacy helpers, not the pharmacists themselves, are really hit or miss. So much so that I no longer fill prescriptions there. It's this type of neglect for doing a decent job that prompts people like me to shop more online & less in real stores. read more

The people here are very nice but it's always a 15 minute or longer wait to pick up my prescription. In fact, when I have a prescription ready for pick up, I put it off for as long as possible because I know that I'll have to stand in line FOREVER! It's just a miserable experience and it's extremely clear that the CVS management has absolutely no respect for their customers. read more

This review is simply for the minute clinic located in the CVS. This past week I got hit by a bus and had a cough, fever all of the good fun stuff. I decided it was bad enough to go see a doctor but my physician couldn't get me in until the following week and lets me honest urgent care's are hell. So I decided to try CVS and their minute clinic. Minute clinic is a small urgent care in the store. It is run by a physicians assistant or a nurse partitioner. So needless to say you wouldn't come here for anything serious. But they do all of your basic physicals, vaccines, health monitoring etc. when I arrived I was the only one in line. I signed up on the little computer in the back, waited maybe 5 minutes, went in and had a great extensive work up by a NP - Gabriella I believe was her name. She was fantastic, very through and friendly but still quick. She diagnosed me, sent my prescriptions over to the pharmacy and sent me on my way. A couple days later when I still wasn't well, I called in and she called in a prescription for antibiotics which were ready when I arrived. I will for sure be back for all of my basic health care needs in the future read more

CVS Pharmacy is wonderful thanks to their outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable Pharmacy Manager, Trish. She answered any questions with warmth and professionalism. I sought out a store manager to share my excellent experience as a first time visitor to a CVS Pharmacy. Trish made this a very positive experience. I called for a couple of questions about the prescription, and she happened to answer. I recognized her caring voice on the phone. The people were all very nice but she stood out with her caring manner. If we ever needed to have a prescription filled, this is where our family would think of first! Customer Service is excellent, my prescription was ready quick as a bunny, and it was a very low price! That's always a pleasant surprise! It's very rare when I write about a drug store with a review . CVS managers please help this store. There's never anyone to ask a question of, ypu removed the self check areas, the store is over crowed with untrained personnel. Today I wasn't feeling well yet to wait in line for over 25 minutes as a gabby redhead babbled away tob a customer. 4 people cashier one being a manager and yet a 25 minute wait. Theres a reason people are driving to Target. Your store is a hot mess. In the case of a fire there us,also only one way in and one,way out. I have a few reoccurring prescriptions I get from here. One is vital that my son takes. Due to the medicine, it's not something you can get in advance. I went in well before closing and was told you can't get this until tomorrow because there are only 2 people working. I explained the importance that it was vital to have in the morning. This pharmacy is terrible. They are always WAY BEHIND in filling prescriptions, so customers have to wait for excessive amounts of time to pick up their prescriptions past the stated time of availability when orders are placed. The customer service is awful. There is never a "sorry for the wait" offered. They really don't care. And the line gets LONG because there is only one person there to check people out. I've been a loyal CVS Pharmacy customer for years, but think it's definitely time to make a switch. read more

Yelp fail. This is a 4 star pharmacy not a 2.5 (come on Yelp). Everyone I know who goes here including me and my husband raves about it. The only draw back is the line in the evenings after work. You know how you can tell this is a 4-star pharmacy? The staff receives flowers and giant valentines day cards from pharmacy clients. They care. They really do. And the staff likes each other. This is Not a "minute clinic", it's a "2-3 hour clinic". Absolutely horrendous wait when you think you are getting a quick service. There was not even a long line, just incredibly slow. And a bad system making you go from one line to another to another for various reasons. Why can't one wait line handle all you need. See one doctor, then send it directly to the pharmacy for you? Instead you have to get back in line again, and wait another ridiculous amount of time when you already feel horrible. We will never come here again. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service. I will never go to this pharmacy again. I had a prescription called in here. After a very short search the pharmacist said she couldn't find it. Then she wouldn't allow me to call the doctor to have him call in the prescription info again because the pharmacy was closing in 5 minutes. She told me to go to Westlake Village... I spoke with the doctor right after I was there and he assured me the prescription was called in to this pharmacy earlier in the day. People in this area are generally so nice, so it was particularly sad to meet a person who was so rude and unhelpful to me in a profession that is supposed to help people. What made it worse is I was obviously not feeling well. She wouldn't spend any time to try to help me even though I'm sure I could have had the doctor call in immediately and she still would have been able to go home on time. Zero compassion. I am at CVS often, and frequent the pharmacy, several times a month. The staff is professional and competent. Although CVS is more expense for me than other pharmacies, I choose to go back because of the kind, effecient, non-judgemental way they have always treated me. Had to rush in for a last-second emergency bag of ice and styrofoam cooler and left $13 poorer, but I was desperate.

I called today at 9am to see if they received prescriptions from my sons doctor over the evening and to make sure they had them in stock so I could find another pharmacy if required. These were urgent. They told me they had them but needed information from the doctor. They also said it was mandatory because of medi-cal. I told them I was paying cash and nothing was going through medi-cal. I called doctor to get them to respond quickly. The doctor assured me it was handled and I could pick up in one hour. I went and got 8 prescriptions. While I was there I stopped to look at make up and in 5 minutes I heard the store page customer assistance to where I was standing 3 times. There was no one else in the area and it was clear I wasn't allowed to shop unmonitored. I've never been so uncomfortable. Then when I went to give my son his medicine he noticed the most important medication was missing. I called them and they said first that they still needed information from doctor. The doctor disputed that. Then they said they got the information but not until late in the day. The doctor had proof that wasn't true. Then he said they were out of stock. I blew my top and told him I called at 9am to make sure we didn't waste our time if they didn't have it. Then he told me about all the steps they had to follow for medi-cal to pay and I told him for 3rd time I was paying cash. Then all of sudden the tells me they have them in stock and I can come pick up. What a total bunch of lying jerks. read more

This pharmacy is better than the other chain pharmacies in this area, which doesn't say much. Not very polite most of the time. Today we went for flu shots. They said it would be 15 minutes, took at least 30. At least they could figure out my insurance, which other places seem to struggle with. read more

HORRIBLE experience, do not go to this CVS pharmacy. I bought a glucose monitor machine that was faulty. They would not return the machine even though I had a receipt and had bought it the day before. The "Pharmacist" was not very knowledgeable and was not much help in trying to operate it. The "Lead Technician" was rude, not helpful, and hung up on me. I am so disappointed as this is my neighborhood pharmacy but I will not be going back. ***********BEWARE: THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS AND UNETHICAL************* Two weeks ago my doctor called in a prescription for me and when I went in I was informed that my medicine needed prior authorization. That evening my doctor took care it and my wife returned was nice enough to go pick it up for me. After waiting in line for 15 minutes my wife was rudely informed that there was no such prescription and brushed away for the next customer. Upon returning home, I called the pharmacy in order to find out what happened. I was quizzed and made to feel like a liar and was told that they would have to call me back when they find it. The pharmacist called back around 10 minutes later that they "found" my prescription and would fill it. A half an hour later I went to retrieve my meds and the kid at the counter told me that they didn't have it. Then after some hunting he "found" it. I paid and went to my car and took my meds in order to double-check them. One box of my meds was correct and they other had someone else's name and prescription sticker placed on it. It was for Adderall which is not only a 3-part med but may cause stigma for some individuals. I had her name, address and prescription information. The med was correct for me but mislabeled. Do they not fall under some sort of confidentiality. Where's my label and who has my information? When I got home I immediately called them and was greeted by a rude staff member. I finally talked to the pharmacist and told him what happened and he said he would investigate. The next day I received a voicemail message that they would fully investigate the matter and inform the regional supervisor. Somehow I doubt that. Thank god I check my meds. They at best release confidential information, at worst the could kill someone. I was really disturbed today coming to this CVS store and heard the following: Previously sales staff had the opportunity to override the system and accept outdated rebate coupons - you collect them but are not really focused on the expiration date, then you use them and they are accepted even after expiration day. Well, not any more! A new sheriff in town, a new district manager has been appointed for the CVS TO area. He/she has issued a new policy that no coupons after expiration day are accepted, and IF a sales person contradicts this, that person will be fired. Two sales staff confirmed this threatening behavior on behalf of the new district manager. Really appalling! Would be much smarter if top management of CVS fired this new district manager and let sales staff make up their own mind on how to handle clients!!!! What was wrong with the previous policy??? Who the f**k behaves like that, threatening employees??? Only a very insecure person who has been promoted way beyond his/her competency! read more

This pharmacy is a joke! They run the place with like 10 people there at all times and still manage to make you wait and to screw up prescriptions. I went back three time to get one medication. First time they didn't have it, second time they couldn't bill it, third time they wouldn't honor a coupon for a medication without taking additional time! I mean why is so hard to fill a prescription right and enter a coupon code?!!!!! Never going back. read more
