This pharmacy deserves ten stars! Dr. Ben the pharmacist is so knowledgeable, smart & kind you just have no idea how grateful I am for him. My joints are all breaking down & my bone mass is a negative 3 which means I'm very breakable. I have a sensitivity to benign ingredients & I feel like I live in hell at times. My knees are jello without glucosamine but it gives me palpitations & migraines. Now for the staff, they are just straight up kindness. They also deliver which is a great blessing if you struggle to drive and need to rely on others to drive you. We found this pharmacy as a fluke during Covid. We were able to get our boosters here and then, after being sick and tired of dealing with Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid we decided to start taking our prescriptions there. After suffering an ankle injury, I was recommended to take some medication to deal with the inflammation and swelling. I was referred to North Oaks Pharmacy, a very nice, local pharmacy and was very impressed! The pharmacy is a locally owned in Thousand Oaks, and is a completely different environment compared to the corporate worlds of CVS and other chain pharmacies. Ben, the manager, is so kind and helpful, and it was great to have one on one interaction with a knowledgeable pharmacist! He went above and beyond explaining the medication and helping me deal with insurance. The store is clean and tidy, and they also have many other items and products for sale, making it a good place to stop by for convenience store items as well as medications. I had the same experience as the other reviewers, which was that I was treated kindly and courteously, and with excellent service. Unlike the big chains where you're just a number and the staff can act as if customers are an annoyance, my experience with my pharmacist, Ben, at North Oaks was a pleasure. The owner/pharmacist? was one of the nicest people I've dealt with. He actually delivered to my home even though I told him I could pick up my RX. And he called to see how the medication was working or if I needed more. I would continue going there, but it is a little far from my residence and as a 78 yr old, don't like driving any more than I have to.
