You walk in and there's quite a lot of prescriptions that are not filled yet, extremely old computers that lag and doors that are jagged and hard to close up. This is not the staff's fault, this is an issue with corporate not supporting their stores. The other issue is that everything is manual pull so you're definitely more prone to human error. The front store is great though. Lots of inventory, store is very clean and organized. Service is quick at the register.

I left my medicine box in NJ and had arrived in DC for three nights, to celebrate my husband's birthday with our adult children. . . who had also traveled there. I have a chronic disease and was at my wit's end, so stressed out about getting ill while out of town. The pharmacist did a tremendous amount of work to get my 8 prescriptions ready, with 3-day supplies of each, explaining the situation to my insurance company, so that they would allow the emergency fills. His name was Joe and this was on 5/19/2023. He was an amazing example of professional courtesy and expertise and I will not soon forget his kindness. Thank you, Joe!

Never have I come here and the store is poorly stocked or not well-organized. This Harris Teeter also offers a huge selection of nutritional supplements and unique household items that you would have to go elsewhere to find such as a local Target, Walmart or Vitamin Shoppe store.... All under one roof! The deli, bakery and hot food bar sections are quite impressive with lots of items and goods to choose from. There are weekly meal and lunch deals offered as well....all starting around $5 bucks! But, to my surprise...one of the highlights that stood out the most is that this place conveniently has a full bar upstairs! There is a modern bar and wine shop upstairs with both offering a great selection of libation and beverages to purchase. It offers weekly happy hour specials and every day $3 dollar pints. The only downside I would say about this store is that the layout can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. There is a large Harris Teeter sign on the side of the building, but no obvious entrance to be found. I walked from one end of the building to the other without much luck. I finally asked a cleaning lady to find out where the store entrance was. She said I needed to walk down a precarious tamp to the parking garage, and then search out an elevator to ride up to the store. There were absolutely no signs anywhere inside of this parking garage, however I did finally manage to find the store. A ended-up little frustrated. I purchased some basic stuff like bread, water, some apples, and soup. The store itself was fine, I just with they would give a little more guidance especially if you are forcing people to take an elevator to enter the store.
