I'm in the same boat as most people - I come here for convenience, but I really just need to suck it up and switch pharmacies. In the past 18 months, every month, I always have some sort of drama when it comes to my prescriptions. About half the time they are out of pretty common prescription drugs. The usual response is just an unconcerned shrug of the shoulders if I don't push back and have them call around for the prescription. My monthly prescription they are out of about a quarter of the time - which, when you know you are going to have a customer coming in for said prescription, why aren't these proactively ordered? Isn't that part of why the computer system exists? Seriously if you can - stay far, far away and go get your prescriptions filled at someplace that isn't so migraine-inducing. read more

CVS is the worst store in America! the sell items at different prices, very irresponsible when they put price tags on...! when you want to return they ask way many things that they try to make it impossible to return! customer service is poor at this store! read more

Nader is the worst pharmacist at the cvs location. I came up to the counter to pick up a prescription not only did he make me wait 5 minutes but he told me the two other people sitting in the chair had to come before me since he has just made their prescriptions (I called mine in two days ago for fast acting service- the in and out type deal.) Its rude and the worst type of service. Everyone is sick. Just because you said the other girl had food poisoning doesn't mean you can judge the severity of my own illness and not give me the service that I deserve. Just know if you see Nader working just know you will receive the worst type of service. read more

Customer Service - (Recent Experience) The way they talk to their customers is appalling. I believe the tone they use is what makes it worse. When you need help no one is around but when you don't need assistance they tend to be fixing up shelves all around you. Check out is slow so self check out is helpful. I don't shop here often but, when I do I am always reminded why I shouldn't. Pharmacy - (Past Experience) Like most of the reviewers I wanted my prescription filled and waited only to find out this store did not have the medication in stock. I was sent to another CVS further down Columbia Pike and they also did not have the medication in stock. At least the CVS further down the road called around to see if there were other locations that did have it in stock, and they were way more busy. Since this experience I have switched to another pharmacy. Go to Rite Aid, they have a decent pharmacy with a drive through window and their customer service is definitely better when shopping in the store. read more

Awful. First they told me my prescriptions that he ready and then they said it will be ready until the next day. When I give them my insurance information the first baby said it wasn't good enough and then when I called the insurance company they said it was good enough so CVS has no idea what they're talking about. Then today when I picked up my prescriptions they completely got it wrong. read more

The employees here have poor customer service skills. The middle-aged lady who works in the morning is especially bad. Once, I needed money for the farmer's market, so I asked her to ring up my purchase as debit so I could get some cash back. She ignored me and rang it up as credit. Another time, I was using one of their automatic checkout machines, and I couldn't get it to take my coupon. The same lady spent about 10 seconds trying to solve the problem, couldn't figure it out, pointed out the coupon had a month left before it expired, and walked away. Thanks a lot, lady! read more

Warning to other customers: Advanced Towing, a well-known aggressive towing company in Arlington, has a spotter who operates in this lot. I just got towed because I stepped out of the lot and onto the sidewalk. I walked about ten feet down the sidewalk to look at something that was happening in the street, for about 30 seconds, then went inside the store to shop. When I got back, my car was gone. The spotter apparently takes a photo of anyone who steps off the lot, and that is considered legal proof. The store does nothing about this. They need to put up signs warning that if you literally step onto the sidewalk, you are fair game for Advanced Towing, and out $135, plus the cab ride to get your car back. If you do shop here, do not step foot on the sidewalk. read more

I've been to many cvs stores in my life and this is by far the worst. Now that they have self check out it's not too bad for general purposes, but I cannot believe that a large chain like this has let their pharmacy remain such a disgrace. In the past year I have filled prescriptions a few times a month and I have never once had an easy time. They seem understaffed but if they were better organized and pleasant they wouldn't have such a hard time. There is often a line of 5 people waiting to pick up and only ever one person helping them. If something is wrong with a customer's prescription that one person helps them and aimlessly looks for a solution while people who have already been forced to wait 45 minutes stand waiting and visibly frustrated. Maybe if they were kind and helpful at the front of the line the wait would be worth it, but you are greeted by a scowling pharmacist who is about to tell you the prescription called in yesterday was put back because it had been there for 14 days. If I didn't need easy access to my prescriptions in other parts of the country I would switch pharmacies. Seriously, CVS, get your act together and revamp your pharmacy or at least give them a lesson in customer service. read more

So once again this pharmacy fails. Though they take Apple Pay and they advertise it... it doesn't work and "we don't know why but it's been down for weeks." Don't bother asking for a manager to speak with-- there is never one on duty. read more

Every single time I visit this store to fill a prescription there is an issue. It is not there, the computers are down. It's ridiculous.

I ordered a same-day print photo book online and selected this store to pick it up at. The estimated time for it to be ready was at 9AM and I was told I would receive another e-mail when it was ready for pickup. Around 2PM, I called the store to inquire about the status of the book since I had not received an e-mail saying it was ready. They proceeded to tell me that their printing machine was broken and they couldn't make the books, however I was never informed of this and I guess just would have never received my book. The woman on the phone was very matter-of-fact, unapologetic, and did not offer any solution to the problem. This all came after a visit to the store I had the previous week when one photo machine was down and the other stopped working when I was mid-project. read more

The only reason for me to visit this particular CVS is that I live near it. Real slow moving staff. New self checkout is an improvement. Chemists have no time to attend to customers as they are busy with paper work! Doesn't deserve any rating at all. Go there if you enjoy waiting endlessly to be served. read more

I had Nader Basseda assist me at the pharmacy, he was very polite and went above and beyond to help me. He was professional and very helpful, and clearly knows what he is doing. Will definitely be back here again! read more
