Lousy door policy. The front door across from the city's largest hospital is locked. Forcing customers to walk to the back.

Good as a CVS can get. Although the cashiers tend to be A LOT nicer than anyone behind the pharmacists counter.

After my 4th call I finally got an answer which appeared to be by mistake because the pharmacist said in a nice voice please hold. Then he immediately put me to the answering machine.

You would think a pharmacy, that sells tons of different humidifiers, would have distilled water. That's what you're supposed to use the machines so it doesn't grow bacteria. Nope, couldn't even find a space on the shelf for it to be sold. During the pandemic I had gone to three or four different pharmacies because I couldn't get any distilled water. For various shipping, people out, not being able to restock, etc. reasons. It is a disgrace that pharmacies which sell products that require distilled water could not supply people with CPAP, and other required medical equipment, with distilled water. So, I decided to write a little quick disappointment review of the store in general. When I went in, there was only one person at the front, two people at the pharmacy, and I didn't see anybody in the store. The store was trashed, it looks like there was a Super Bowlparty held in there. Ive never seen it this bad before, literal trash on the floor as well as product on the floor and half empty bins that were left out from restocking that had to be navigated around. I'm not saying it was dirty though, it seemed reasonably clean for a public store. They also no longer have push carts, instead they have little cheap plastic baskets. You have to pull along behind you like a kids toy. For someone with arthritis who has a hard time carrying things in their hand, so has to have some sort of basket it's very awkward. Not only do you have to bend over to put things into the basket, but you can only carry a couple of things at a time. So if I'd have picked up 2 gallons of water, I would not have been able to get anything else, much less picking up the water from the basket and scanning it, and either carrying it in my arthritic hands out of the store or bending over and putting it back in the basket to carry it out of the store and picking it up again to put it into the car. My insurance wants me to use CVS, I'm assuming for bulkpricing reasons, but from now on I'll only be picking up prescriptions at the drive-through. Any other purchases I'll have to make at Walgreens or the grocery store. The store employees, and pharmacists, have always been polite. Not sure what's going on, maybe there were people out sick today with bird flu or something so if you were half people have to do more jobs. But since it's a self check out and somebody has to watch the front that one employee I saw in the store couldn't possibly have gone around and clean things up or put things on the shelves. I hope they get this resolved because this is a convenient store to my job and I would like to be able to visit it again.

It would be better if the pharmacist or associate checking people out didn't spend lots of extra time flirting with male customers. Extra star for good prices and location in strip mall with lots of useful shops. But the parking lot is a nightmare. It was built before so many people had SUVs and pickup trucks. Also there's a UPS store where they collect for USPS, so often there's a huge mail truck or UPS truck blocking the entire lane. The post office is literally across the street. It's silly to send a tractor trailer across the street to pick up. Either people should just cross the street or USPS should send a smaller vehicle to pick up those packages. Also, may I complain specifically about Walgreens' insane, irritating and misleading loyalty program? There are lots of sale shelf tags, brightly-colored and enticingly worded. Looks like BOGO, but it's usually Buy two get third half off. If I need that much of an item, I'll go to a discount store where the price is the price. I almost5 never get a Walgreen's deal because the item I want is cheaper at the grocery chain next door or delivered by Amazon. I started shopping at this location when it was Rite Aid, and before that Eckerd's or vice-versa, when the lady with black curly hair and violet lipstick was doing checkout. Hope she's doing well in retirement.

Today I bought a set of birthday week surprise boxes--a set of 7 colorful miniature boxes for someone to open each day on their birthday week (or likely the week leading up to their birthday). Each box is supposed to contain something joyful, like maybe a little popper or a birthday message. Currently the seasonal items they have out include UGA football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There are also sections of wedding, baby, and birthday themes items, as well as things that are good for a "just because" gift. I'd say the items are priced anywhere from "moderate" to "more than I want to pay."

I live near here and had never heard of this pharmacy. My doctors had not either. I found it…read moreshopping drug prices on the website of my medical plan. At least on my plan (and this varies depending on what plan and so much more) it was the lowest cost around I could find. This pharmacy has no sign, no storefront. Its located on the first floor of an office building by the Jewish Temple, which also owns the building. Its in with AID Atlanta. You can park for free in the parking deck behind. Then walk to the front door, enter, turn left on ground floor and if there is someone at the desk just turn right and say your going to the pharmacy. Its just down the hall on your left, with a sign by door AHF Pharmacy. AHF has offices around the country. Not a lot of them but there is also a branch in Lithonia and on Cheshire Bridge. Check the website. It is a NONPROFIT and 96c of each dollar earned goes back to the community in treating mostly HIV and its not just in the USA. They have programs in Africa too to help those in need there. So if you fill your prescriptions here profits go to people in need rather than big corporate operations. That might be important to you. There are 2 people that work here and they close for lunch from 12:00N to 12:30pm. I was very happy to get prescriptions filled with no hassle and the best possible price, although again your plan you have is what really controls the price for most people. Knowing that 96c of every dollar made on my prescriptions helps those in need is enough right there to steer me here! FYI MY health plan is AMBETTER. They do let me use many of the other major pharmacies in the area but their website preloaded this location first and since I went and liked it thats where I will stay as long as the arrangement lasts. They also do mail order! That can be quite convenient. I'm retired and live near so its not a problem to stop in early in the day, but FYI PM traffic almost anywhere in Atlanta after 300p can be a hassle, so try the mail order if you like. I have done that with other pharmacies and that works well and saves a drive if pick up is not convenient. For most normal hour works mail order is the way to go. For mail order call toll free 855-894-6337.
