After calling this store with a question, pharmacist AJ made me feel intimidated and uneasy about asking for my prescriptions being filled. She would demand I speak in a child like manner in order for me to get my prescriptions filled and was impatient with me when I was explaining my situation. The encounter was so bad I will not be using Walgreens for my prescriptions anymore. I refuse to feel intimidated by simply asking questions. I went through the pharmacy drive through today and got in line at 5 after 1pm and was trapped between two cars for over 40 minutes and once they took care of the car in front of me the window was covered and I heard a woman through the speaker say "we on lunch at 1:30" I explained that I was in line much earlier but I was rudely told "we on lunch". I get it people need to eat but Walgreens has to figure out a better solution or at least try to upgrade their staff. read more

Came here to get a 2nd dose of a preventative vaccine and some of the pharmacist here are just embarrassing. If you come here for a pickup or to solely shop the aisles it's fine. However, if you are on a prescription for anything regarding sexual health they are quite loud and impersonal. This particular visit, they again had so many issues to sign me in. Asking Multiple questions for what should be on the screen. Saying the prescription details loudly and all. By the time I got the injection a large line had started and I was so embarrassed. Literally broke out in a sweat. I would just ask the pharmacist to use a personable tone and one of discretion when explaining people's medications. Last, I will go to my primary care doctor going forward. They make it seem like getting common meds and vaccines is simple at these local pharmacies but it's more difficult. Be advised! read more

My family and I stopped by this Walgreens to get some snacks before heading home. As soon as we walked in, we got the "stare" from one of the employees behind the counter. Didn't think much of it until we walked up to the same employee to pay. She rang us up and we were going to pay in cash. She told us we're not accepting cash. What Walgreens doesn't accept cash? We paid with a credit card instead. When she bagged our stuff and handed us the bags, we said thank you. And her response was "mmmhmmm". Absolutely rude. read more

Rude pharmacist tech. They are understaffed but I didn't need to hear sarcasm when I simply asked which line was for the people covid vaccine appointments. There are three lines and I didn't think "Express Pick Up" was the correct line. Which is why I asked! It turns out "Express Pick Up" is the line for Covid shot appointments. Who would know that without asking? Pharmacist was nice but he is overloaded with Covid vaccine appointments. They used to do like 30 a day (they said) but now this poor pharmacist has to do 70+ appointments by himself. Why doesn't Walgreens hire more staff to meet demand? Walgreens is a huge organization and pharmacists need jobs! And we're in the middle of a pandemic? Why would you want to burnout your one pharmacist of the day? It took 1.5 hrs to get my shot. I'm one of the people who was scheduled to come back for the second shot 4 wks after the first shot, even though the Pfizer one is supposed to be after 3 wks. The pharmacist said 4 wks is within the range that works. You know what? A bunch of people complained and Walgreens ended up changing their scheduling to 3 wks for the Pfizer vaccine. My appointment is still at the 4 wk mark. It was too late to change it by the time they changed their policy. read more

Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I called my doctors office to reconfirm my kids prescriptions were at this location. Since the pharmacy claims they have nothing. Once, confirmed I called the pharmacy back and the lady on the phone was unhelpful, extremely rude, and annoyed at having to look up if they had them there. She rushed the entire conversation, had an attitude and it was obvious she was bothered by having to answer the phone. Take your money somewhere else. Walgreens no longer exists to me. read more

This is the only drug store that I have gone to over the past 4 years in the perimeter of Atlanta, that has consistently delivered amazing customer service, great deals, and unique products. The pharmacy is faster & cheaper than others (including Kroger down the street). I just love the staff! They always make my day and we end up having great conversations. I'm torn between three and four stars. The ultimate three call is due to the often inept or just totally blank-gaze-like staff. Example: yesterday I needed cold medicine (oh, how I hate getting sick in warm weather! That should only happen in winter when you can curl up in sweats and blankets!) and threw a few other things in my basket; at the checkout I picked up US Weekly - I had to read about Jessica Simpson's baby, ok? - and I handed it to him as I set the basket on the counter. I started to swipe my card and he says "That's $4.15" and I looked at him confused - "Uh, that stuff in the basket is mine, too (silent "duh")." Took him a long pause to realize it was all my stuff for purchase. Four stars for the candy selection (I knew my boss loved sour candy and was a hit this week when I picked up a couple bags including his favorite, sour peach!) and the huge array of quick food items if you're in need, as well as a good beauty product selection. I have never got prescriptions here but since it's a right turn between home and work, and convenient to what I do in general, it's definitely a possibility. read more

These Walgreen employees need to go, or the manager needs to provide better training for the concept of "customer service." When arriving to pick up my photos, the man behind the photo counter ignored me until I asked if I could pick up my photos. Before checking out I looked over my prints, and a few photos had color streaks. The man behind the counter responded with "oh yeah, we were supposed to re-print those." I then had to wait for the damaged photos to be re-printed. After that, I headed to the counter to check out. The cashier ignored me while playing on her phone, and after a minute or so I finally said "can I please check out?' No apology or acknowledgment after that occurred. This is the worst drugstore that I have ever been to (Walgreens 2595 Peachtree Parkway). The wait for prescriptions is awful. I have never been there and not had a bad experience at the pharmacy. I went in yesterday and bought some items and decided to buy a bottle of wine. The person at the checkout counter was totally clueless and said there was no one available that had the authority to sell alcohol. I walked through the store yelling "I hate this place" which I would normally not do. There is an older woman there, however, that I love. I have a nice chat with her when I go there but I am considering the drive to a Walgreens that is 25 minutes away just to avoid this place which is a five minute drive. When I moved to Atlanta I went straight to Walgreens since I had good experience with them in Athens, GA. I was REALLY disappointed with this location. The technician that was working in the pharmacy obviously hated her job and everyone else for that matter. She did not want to tell me how much my medicine would be until I decided if I wanted to purchase the drugs that day or not. Because I was paying 100% out of my own pocket I needed to know the cost before deciding which ones to purchase that day. She was so rude to me I ended up requesting to see the manager. He was nice and apologized for the technicians rudeness. I ended up transferring all of my business to Publix pharmacy and I now receive much better service and I found out their prices are less for the same drugs. read more

After putting me on hold four times over the course of 25 minutes this morning, I finally asked that they please complete handling my issue. The lady on the other side of the phone responds by saying 'ok, ok, I don't need all that'. The rude attitude is not only uncalled for, but very specifically unwarranted given that I, the customer, am the one who had been inconvenienced and repeatedly put on hold- if anything an apology for slow service was warranted, maybe even a quick explanation of why my matter couldn't be handled in a more time my fashion. I am working on changing my prescription to CVS, and even though this Walgreens is literally a block away and much closer than any CVS- I will *never* return. read more

This review is primarily for the pharmacy, but the one star applies to the store (its management, cleanliness, etc). I chose this location because it's the only pharmacy within a couple mile radius with drive-thru service. The pharmacist is rarely there or visible. The technicians (all of the technicians that I've encountered) are very reluctant to help and fail to ask if I have questions for the pharmacist. Technicians have failed to research my insurance for flu shot coverage and claimed there was no coverage - I went to a CVS care place down the road and flu shots were covered. Lastly, the technician mis-filled my prescription and missed two weeks worth of medicine. I have encountered the pharmacist on two occasions, both of which he seemed angry and less than talkative. I've switched and recommend the Publix pharmacy across the street even though it's inconveniently located for a pharmacy. read more

I chose this pharmacy because they have a drive thru. I needed a prescription filled for my dog. When i went to pick it up the pills were whole and I needed them broken/cut in half. I am unable to do it due to neuropathy in my hands. They refused. Said I could come into the store and buy a pill splitter. Couldn't do that. I didn't have my walker. Hence, the drive thru. I appreciate the overall convenience of Walgreens and this location is a block from my house. You can use their website to refill prescriptions for home delivery or pick-up at their store. Most insurance plans are accepted and they even offer discounted flu shots for those without insurance coverage. Sometimes it takes a little longer than I would like to get a prescription filled, but I guess maybe I should just be more patient. Again, overall a good experience and very convenient. read more

Its a Walgreens like any other Walgreens. Good selection of stuff, what can you say. It does get a lot of really wierd customers though and I'm not sure the staff knows how to handle them. This one time I was in line and a woman stood at the register and casually leafed through the sale circular. After 5 minutes and the line getting longer by the second, I finally said something like perhaps she could step away and do that and then go back to the register when she was ready. Now apparently when you say rational things to crazy people, it doesn't go over well and she kind of freaked out. Anyway, my point was that the employee should have handled it so that the other customers didn't have to stand there waiting while this one woman held everything up. I've seen this kind of thing happen a couple times here, they should be getting good at dealing with these crazies and I swear I'm not one of them, though if I was I wouldn't know and even if I did I doubt I would admit it so maybe I am one. read more

Although there were issues processing my scripts, Stephanie Dubas, store manager was phenomenal. She remained professional and friendly, despite a high volume of patients and very busy atmosphere. She worked hard and multitasked very efficiently. She also collaborated well with coworkers and handled rude patients with kindness. I was very impressed. She is by far the most outstanding associate I have witnessed at a Walgreens, much less any pharmacy. Thank you for making my experience a pleasant one. read more

AVOID THIS PHARMACY! Literally the worst pharmacy I've ever been too. The people are so rude and flat out have lied to me on multiple occasions. I have never written a review about anything before in my life but could not not warn people to avoid this location. Every person I have encountered there has been horrible to deal with. It took four days of haggling to get a prescription filled with them before they did it after lying to me on multiple occasions at which my dog then began having seizures because he couldn't get his meds. I've never had an issue like this with any other pharmacy before. I have pulled all my prescriptions from here and will be going elsewhere from now on. Avoid this location. This high and mighty pharmacy decided 5 years ago that I was not the caliber customer they cater to because I was experiencing intractable chronic pain and decided I was see too many doctors. I ask anyone that if you were in severe pain from multiple spinal problems and a failed massive surgery that tried and failed miserably to decrease the pain, how many doctors would you go to if you thought any one might reduce or even quell that pain. I went to every type and kind imaginable and during one of my many past trips to Las Vegas when I left my pain medication at home I saw an ER doctor and was given a less effective medication but I was still grateful, Walgreens out and out told me I was not the type customer they desired. Gee, I thought they were supposed to appeal to me. Rite Aid did and I have stayed with them for nearly 6 years. You won't find a better pharmacy than Rite Aid. read more

I would probably rank Walgreens 4th on my list of preferred pharmacies. Behind family owned neighborhood pharmacies, Publix, and Rite-Aid. But they get the job done if a drugstore is what you need. Used to be a happy and efficient place, there is one clerk who is always a pleasure to see but, the tall woman always seems in a bad mood and confused about how to handle the simplest transactions.
