Taray is the best! He works in the deli and is always so pleasant and personable when I get a sub. His personality is so great! This Publix is always clean and always has great customer service. Never have issues here.

I had been a long time since I started visiting this location again. I have decided to make it part of my morning commute to work. Why? Because it's pretty easy to get to and get around in the store. This location is not designed like most locations. They are still kind of old school so that means things are placed in different areas. However they make up for it with their employees and products. Love this store. Everyone is helpful and friendly. You always see someone on the floor doing something to keep it nice and together. Never bumping into folks either.

Pubix, where shopping is REALLY a pleasure!

I've yet to see a bad Publix, although I was taken aback by the flyer warning employees that child care is not an acceptable excuse for rescheduling a promotion test at the last minute. I thought Publix tried to be woman-friendly, but I can see clearly that it's easier to get a promotion at Publix if you've got a wife. (And yes, I know that men, in families that include male parents, *should* care for children.) No, what really bugged me about this Publix is what it lacks, given all that it's got. A lot of Publix stores have a pegboard of Badia spices that contain, for a buck or so, enough of whatever spice you want to get you through a recipe. This one only has a few bottles of Badia spices, leaving you at the mercy of McCormick. $3.99 for ground coriander when I need a few teaspoons? Hell no. And really, what's the point of being open until 11pm if the seafood area is tumbleweed-empty an hour before closing time? We had shrimp on the shopping list, but we sure as hell don't have it on our refrigerator shelf. I was happy that the pharmacy was able to fill a highly regulated prescription within the 15 minutes before they closed (another go-home-early department, alas). Just don't expect the normal high standard of Publix services if you arrive after 9pm. They're only *mostly* open after nine.

Here's some of the "prized" produce people keep talking about. I watched a guy restock the tomato section with this crap.

1 cashier working at 7pm on a Thursday night. Line of 15 people going down the aisle, 10-15 people in the self checkout line. Sad!

I needed to grab a few things…read morethat I had forgotten to bring on my trip to Atlanta and I found this Walgreens just a couple blocks away, so I decided to make the short walk over from my hotel to grab them. It's located right on the corner of North and Piedmont avenues, next to a grocery store and some apartment buildings. There's a parking lot out front and security at the door. I went straight to the makeup section and then grabbed some snacks. It's definitely an outdated Walgreens, but it did the trick. The one employee I interacted with was really nice, I wish I would have gotten her name. I'm sure it fulfills its purpose for the neighborhood.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service at this Walgreens is deplorable. To come in and…read moreshop is one thing. To order through the app (which is equally deplorable) is a whole 'nother level of disappointment. I ordered 5 things for pick up through the app. 1) The order got delayed. Ok, no problem. 2) I go through the online prompts, which said that I could pick up my order through the drive through--great! I get to the drive thru and wait a few minutes, because I can see that the employee was helping other customers. After about 5 minutes, I press the call button and tell him I'm here for a pickup order. He dissapears and comes back, saying he doesn't have it. I repeated that it was a store pickup order, and he says "oh, I'll be right back, it's probably by the photo section." There's a huge mirror on the window and I could see that he was in the back of the area (where he thought I couldn't see him) filling prescriptions. I pressed the call button numerous times and no one answered, so I drove to the front and went inside, frustrated. I waited another 5 minutes at the photo area to retrieve my order. The employee (a different one) said that she was wondering where I was--even though I selected that I was going through the drive thru online. She brought me my order and I got in the car, but something told me to check before I left...keep reading, it gets better! I open the sealed, brown paper bag, and it's someone else's order. None of the things I brought were in there. I walked back to the store, steaming at this point, and told the employee that this was not mine. She blames it on someone else and then says she'll be back. What I didn't realize was that she was going around the store, shopping for my stuff. I would've cancelled my order had I known she was doing that (because they were "out of stock" for a few things anyway). She came back, put my items in the same crumpled up back, and said here you go. I know this was long, but this was a terrible, awful, ridiculous experience from top to bottom. So many things were awful, from the lack of communication, to the neglect, to the inattention to detail. I will pretend this place doesn't exist from this day forward.

I do like how it's right near a train station so you don't have to drive there. It's right near a food court and hotels too so very convenient. It has two levels and I was greeted and asked if I needed help by some employees which was nice. I asked where an item was and was given a decent response. Place was busy and I got what I came for. I went to pick up some prescriptions, but 2 of them weren't ready, so I waited for about 15 minutes or so and came back to the cashier to pick them up. That's when I was told their system was down and they couldn't finish processing my order. Since I use public transit for the handicapped and I had a few minutes before pickup time, I asked the lady at the counter how long it would take for the system to come back on line and she said it would take 15-20 minutes. Since I had the time, I told her I'd like to wait. After 20 additional minutes, an announcement came over the store's PA system saying that all transactions were cash-only since the store's entire system had crashed. Realizing that I had ample cash to pay for my order, I approached the check-out counter and informed the cashier that I had sufficient funds to pay cash, but she still refused to fill my order. When I protested that I was using para-transit services, and I would have to make a second trip, somebody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhh, he doesn't have a car", and everybody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhhhh" all in unison! I have never in all my 70 years been shown such extreme contempt and disrespect for the elderly and disabled such as myself. I have already moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy, and I will never shop at another CVS ever again. I would strongly advise all others to do the same.

Today I bought a set of birthday week surprise boxes--a set of 7 colorful miniature boxes for someone to open each day on their birthday week (or likely the week leading up to their birthday). Each box is supposed to contain something joyful, like maybe a little popper or a birthday message. Currently the seasonal items they have out include UGA football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There are also sections of wedding, baby, and birthday themes items, as well as things that are good for a "just because" gift. I'd say the items are priced anywhere from "moderate" to "more than I want to pay."
