That is unacceptable to me. If Amazon, usps and fed ex deliver on weekends than cvs should be getting livesaving medicines 7 days a week. No urgency. No caring. I take her to there, she is 88 urs ild and not good with change.. Lately, they have gotten worse than the normal. They still call and leave prerecorded messages and texts to tell you your script is ready. You get there, they tell you it is NOT ready and to come back in a half hour. This is why I left CVS years ago..now I have to deal woth again. This last time, I went to pick her up items she uses regularly and I stood in line way too long to check out only because they have 1 cashier at the register taking care of people in line AND the people with problems (and there were quite a few) with the self checkout! This poor woman was very helpful, kind and so obviously trying to hide her frustration with handling this all on her own. HIRE MORE PEOPLE! I know how to use the self checkout, I refuse to use CVS's because the coupons always get stuck and then you have to pull this oman off the register to fix it or for some other stupid problem. Ridiculous! I only go there to for non prescription items when she is in town for her hair appt.(and i have a coupon) Otherwise I go elsewhere for cheaper prices on the same items. Solid Walgreens at a great location. We've been using this pharmacy since it had been Rite Aid…read moreyears prior and the transition has been pretty seamless. Rarely do I have to wait more than a few hours for my prescriptions to be ready for pickup. Whenever I have questions, the pharmacists always assist and they look up data to verify their recommendation. Love the drive up window as well, has come in handy quite frequently.

Used a GoodRx coupon for a prescription instead of my insurance because I could get a better price. No issues. The Walgreens workers not pharmacists seem to understand a bit more about insurance than the morons at CVS.

Nice to still see this in 2026. This location is kept clean, most of the staff are nice, and I'm happy to report that I've been noticing a lot more Organic/Non-GMO stuff available to buy, ditto for Gluten free mixed in with the oldie-but-goodie items, which tend to cater to their majority Gen X and Baby Boomer aged customers. There's a bus stop for SCT routes 6, 51, and 53 at the Waverly Ave entrance, which is convenient. Plus it says open until 22:00 (10 pm). Only complaints are: Items/foodschtuffs are costly (aka typical King Kullen prices), Restrooms tend to be dirty (had to duck into the ladies room once, was a bit cleaner than the mens), The location is in an odd area. Waverly Ave south of Sunrise is a rough-ish part of town, but north of Sunrise tends to be nicer. Keep this in mind if you walk, bike, or take the bus. With all this being said, I'm happy for the Cullen Family and to see King Kullen continue to be a landmark business unique to Long Island, still making LIers proud!

Horrible pharmacy. I typically drive all the way to Bellport because this location is so terrible…read more Today I go in at 1:30, standing there waiting on line with my small child. After waiting awhile They tell me it's their lunch time and to leave, I ask when I can return, they barked 2pm. Okay great. I leave and come back. Girl starts to help me, another girl comes up behind her and chastises her right in front of me for not being where she was supposed to be and made her walk away. She's then anxiously tapping her nails while ringing us up like we're taking too long. Another man appears behind me on line, she barks at him to "come get started" he has no idea what that even means, and she angrily points to the computer screen at the counter. I'm in the process of entering all my information on the screen and she tells me to enter the info. I am a mother and have a lot of patience and grace for people but this girl PUSHED it today. Beyond rude. They need to retrain her. I'm sending to corporate as well.
