It's June 18th, Sat. Been waiting 5 days to get my prescription refilled.. Finally got a text at 2:12 on Sat. Hurried to get back they close at 6 pm. Pulled up at 5:57. They waited until after 601 to tell me they were closed (intentionally waited until after 6). I looked inside and all the front section (blinds) were already closed. All there computers were shut down. If you're going to advertise 6 pm, at least honor it. read more

Gosh I really dislike this place. I SWEAR doesn't matter if you complaint to their customer service this place is a circus. Whenever you wanna get a hold of a human by phone wow they don't pick up. You're on hold for like half an hour or gotta keep calling. When you get someone finally they don't even say a proper Hello they mumble stuff being so rude and wanna get you off the hook quickly you gotta be on it because they won't apologize for your wait times. The pharmacy gave me the wrong prescription so I had my doctor fax them the correct prescription. I talked to four different employees about six times and ended up waiting over an hour to get them to fill the updated prescription and every step of the process was a nightmare. I repeatedly told them that the doctor faxed them but no one wanted to check the fax machine. Lo and behold the prescription had been sitting there for a while. Everyone I spoke to was impatient, unhelpful, and rude and on top of all that the prescription costs 6 times more than my previous pharmacy. Needless to say, I'll be looking for a new pharmacy. read more

The service is horrible! I repeatedly had problems getting my prescription. I would go 2 or 3 weeks without my medication. No calls or updates from the pharmacy. I had to keep calling to find out what was going on. I had to switch pharmacies and got my medication same day with no problems. Why am I getting the same exact medication from another pharmacy with no problems but it's taking up to 3 weeks at CVS. Terrible. read more

Nice store but there was a manager or employee who gave me attitude. It was a female worker with black hair and had some weird eyeliner. Anyways I needed a medicine cabinet opened since it was locked. I went to the front to request to get it opened and at first a women with blonde hair who was very nice said that she would help then the women with the weird eyeliner and black hair came over. She told me the pharmacy is the one with the key and I told her nicely "I can walk over there so you guys don't have to call them" then she replied saying "she's calling them just wait" with an attitude. My prior pharmacy sent my records over......well lost in space by CVS. Try and call disconnected. Numerous times. If answered put on hold and left. They will give you a time when it will be ready then tell you it'll be another hour or so so Jen you arrive to pickup. They're excuse, the pharmacist went to lunch. There are several CVS locations, in Burbank; the one on Alameda & San Fernando Blvd. is my favorite. I have a few favorite cashiers, cosmetician, snd now Pharmacy staff. Everything is easily found in the store and they often have great deals on select items. I like the fact that Starbucks is close so I can grab a coffee while waiting for a prescription. Service is quick and effecient while being covid compliant. read more

Slowest pharmacy you can ask for. Called at 11 am and 4:50 pm today. I Was told by the pharmacy that I can pickup my prescription at 8pm. Arrived 8:30 pm. Again told me they will get the medication ready in 15 mins. And there's no one waiting on line at pharmacy at that moment. Also I was asking the pharmacy about where are some specific supplements. I live near this cvs, so I have gone here a lot and the main problem I have with this location is the employees always trying to pass you off to someone else instead of helping you. The most annoying experience I had here was when I was looking for flea medication for my dog. It can be pretty expensive and I had a 30% off coupon, so I was hoping to buy it there. I called to see if they had it and they told me they don't have it in the main part of the store so to call and check the pharmacy (for dog flea medicine??). Didn't seem likely, but I tried and the pharmacy also told me they do not have it either. Both people I talked to didn't really seem like they checked, they just wanted to get me off the phone. So a few hours later I went to the store and found exactly what I was looking for, right in the pet isle. Was easy to find, seemed obvious no one bothered to actually look. I also recently had used this cvs as a pick up location for a package that was being delivered. They had me come back twice saying it had not been delivered yet, even though tracking told me otherwise. Turns out they just lost it and I never ended up getting it. Didn't surprise me read more

So it all started with a question. I have a hard time expressing and describing what I am trying to say but the way the pharmacy manager Elizabeth treated me was unacceptable. I have a hard time staying focus so I need things to be repeated to me but Elizabeth decided I was joking. The way she was talking to me was rude, unprofessional, and can be considered harassment. This review is for the pharmacy drive-thru. What in the world is that disgusting CAPSULE you guys have outside??? You are aware we're in a PANDEMIC right??? They literally have this capsule thing where you put your credit card and it sends it to them but first you have to take the capsule out, unscrew the top and then screw it back and secure the capsule back into the tube. The capsule was black with dirt aka they don't even clean it. This is so dangerous right now and literally an infection spreader!!! I was just amazed that they're using this thing and that a pharmacist literally directed me to use it instead of come to the window.... go somewhere else to pick up your prescriptions! read more

I'm moving all my prescriptions to this location. I used to go to the Verdugo location, because it was maybe 2 minutes closer. Boy how not all cvs' are created equal. There were some pros at the Verdugo cvs, they were able to get a certain medication (I'm no longer taking by the way) that the alameda branch couldn't get. It was weird because its special order anyway. Verdugo was quick and able to get it in 1-2 days. But when it came to the other medications I take, Verdugo treated me very poorly. Almost like I was unwanted. Making me wait long periods of time between medication refills even after the 30 day supply. Yes I take pain medication. I had back surgery on my L5 S1 disc. Artificial disc replacement. I've been having complications and thanks to covid, elective surgery was shelved for a while. Waiting for covid vaccine before I do any operation. So in the mean time I need to take these pills just to be able to function. Alameda was very kind to me and very quick, they filled my scripts later in the day and told me at the latest it will be ready friday. But it was ready Wednesday evening!!! They told me it could be ready that soon. But I went this morning to pick it up, wish I went 2 days ago because Thanksgiving I was running low on meds and had to ration my pills and spent most of the holiday in intense pain. I couldn't sleep at all last night because of course I had a flare up because on Thanksgiving my little nieces were there and of course I had to hold them because they are too adorable and I'm only human!!! Seriously If I could give this place zero stars I would! I literally deleted my long negative experience but it's obviously not worth my time seeing the other reviews are similar to my experience have gone ignored. I will never go to this particular CVS location based on my pharmacy experience. I'm surprised there have been no changes based on reviews . I'm left to assume the higher ups don't care?! I will not go to this location again nor will I recommend it based on my sole negative experience. That is how bad it was. Feel free to inquire but please try it for yourself and leave a review. I hope they respond to these reviews and make lots of changes through training or replacing staff that don't care to represent CVS in a productive professional manner. Customer service is key , accountability goes a long way too. This is not a case of new /trainee experience. Higher Ups , Corporate/Headquarters ought to start paying attention and respond too. I've had mostly good experiences at other CVS locations except for two locations including this one. Remember one rotten apple can spoil the rest in the fruit basket. I did call corporate!
