The ones provided by my surgical center were not great, so someone suggested getting better quality and told us Access had a great selection. They do, by the way. They have every type of compression sock/hose you could ask for. However, that alone doesn't warrant a 5-star rating. What does warrant a 5-star rating is outstanding service! We've been there twice, and both times one of the employees followed us back to the compression hose section in the back to help us sort through options. They listened and were very knowledgeable, and on top of that, they went to the trouble of measuring my legs to make sure we got the correct size! That is super important because some of these things are pretty expensive ($40+), and if you open the package, they are not returnable (understandably). Looking around the facility on our way in and out, it looks like they have a pretty big pharmacy as well as a selection of general drug store items, as well as some bigger durable medical equipment (walkers, canes, wheelchairs, etc.). I hope I don't have to shop there for any of that stuff, but if I do find myself needing it, I will definitely check with them first!

When I handed the pharmacist my insurance card and the discount information, I feel certain that they didn't even try to run the discount. Just my insurance. The prescription is several hundred dollars a year (not covered by my insurance as it turns out) and when I ask about the discount, they say that they have no clue what I'm talking about. The cashiers are ALWAYS involved in some personal conversation or drama. Every time I have been there. They don't greet guests in a friendly way and their responses to google reviews are downright HOSTILE!

So - The reason I love Walgreens so much is for the unusual product lines, sweet deals and big savings. And their candy section is second to none. Lol. This Walgreens is located in Red Bank, a beautiful enclave surrounded by mountains: Signal Mountain, Lookout Mountain and Raccoon Mountains surround and ring-around the 5.6 square miles of Red Bank. It's lovely. I was looking for a certain line of conditioner I've been using that I haven't been able to find here for months, so I've given up on finding it. No loss. I found a new line of products that look, sound and smell like they are going to be fabulous. The line is called "Cake". Each of their maybe 30 different items in their product line were on sale for $8.99 (which is a rather decent price in itself). If you buy one, you then get one of equal/less value of 50% off. I bit. Once I started looking at the myriad of different items in their product line and how great they all smelled, I was more than curious. I'm a label-reader and I was happy to see all their products were cruelty-free and vegan. Sold. Now to pick out the choices. I settled on a Conditioner called "The Soft Serve", which promises the moon, and a Blow Out Balm called "The Grace Full", and they are both -apparently- 'Totally-To-Die-For'. We'll see ;;) I checked out the Easter candy tentatively and noted we've got yet another excuse to buy some good Lindt Chocolate Bunnies. Lol. They were on a 2-for-1 sale, so you can bet I'll be back before they are all gone. Every store employee I've come in contact with every time I've been in has been extremely friendly, happy and kind. That's the thing about Chattanooga that I love so much; the kindness of the people. It is refreshing to walk into this extremely clean Walgreens any day of the week.

NOW you try to call and you are not even allowed to talk to anyone to see if they have a prescription ready meds in stock etc. The only reason I go here is because BCBS said I have to use them. I wish they would hurry up and close this one down so maybe I could go elsewhere. They are also very rude. With as many meds as my family has to take I would think we would at least rank being able to talk and not have to wait for a call back. Being a pharmacy you think it could be an emergency like taking someone home from the hospital and not wanting to wait for a call back that has never come! If possible find another pharmacy run as fast as possible from this one.

I lifted up a few to check their weight as I wanted to carry it in my pocket. She was extremely helpful and said she could show many any of them and she proceeded to pull out one from her pocket that she uses and let me test the weight and feel. I was extremely impressed with her willingness to help me with my purchase. I haven't had such excellent customer service in a long time and I really appreciated her willingness to help me.

so i'm gonna preface this review by saying i work customer service so i know how it can be, im not…read moreblaming the workers and everybody i encountered was nice but just the whole experience was frustrating. i was here about a week ago around 10:00pm. i only had a few items and didnt have my debit card. i dont live around here so i figured i would connect my card to walmart pay. i did that in the car no problem. so i went to do self checkout and scanned the qr code. it wouldn't accept my card which was odd. i decided to scan the items from my phone using the bar code. it was very frustrating and was giving me a bar code to scan which wouldn't scan in the system. a worker came over and said walmart pay is down and id have to go see customer service. she was nice enough about it and its not her fault it wasn't working so i went. there was no representative at customer service so i was waiting a few minutes. a cashier came over and said it was closed. obviously not her fault either but i did find it annoying that the store was still open while customer service was closed. i feel like customer service should be avaliable the entire day so if something like that happens they can be able to help. i ended up having to put my stuff back and have my parents buy me the stuff i needed. i'm glad to learn walmart is finally going to start accepting apple pay. it definitely will make instances like this less frequent. i do think however the customer service desk should be open from the beginning to end of the day because it will make it much more convenient for customers.
