I needed a phone power bank charger for an upcoming trip. I asked an associate if they had any in stock and the young lady took me right to them a few aisles over. I lifted up a few to check their weight as I wanted to carry it in my pocket. She was extremely helpful and said she could show many any of them and she proceeded to pull out one from her pocket that she uses and let me test the weight and feel. I was extremely impressed with her willingness to help me with my purchase. so i'm gonna preface this review by saying i work customer service so i know how it can be, im not blaming the workers and everybody i encountered was nice but just the whole experience was frustrating. i was here about a week ago around 10:00pm. i only had a few items and didnt have my debit card. i dont live around here so i figured i would connect my card to walmart pay. i did that in the car no problem. so i went to do self checkout and scanned the qr code. it wouldn't accept my card which was odd. i decided to scan the items from my phone using the bar code. it was very frustrating and was giving me a bar code to scan which wouldn't scan in the system. a worker came over and said walmart pay is down and id have to go see customer service. she was nice enough about it and its not her fault it wasn't working so i went. there was no representative at customer service so i was waiting a few minutes. a cashier came over and said it was closed. obviously not her fault either but i did find it annoying that the store was still open while customer service was closed. i feel like customer service should be avaliable the entire day so if something like that happens they can be able to help. i ended up having to put my stuff back and have my parents buy me the stuff i needed. i'm glad to learn walmart is finally going to start accepting apple pay. it definitely will make instances like this less frequent. i do think however the customer service desk should be open from the beginning to end of the day because it will make it much more convenient for customers. read more

Asked for the driver to double check with me.. nothing of that was done.. bc it was delivered to the wrong house. Does the picture from the driver look like a porch with tall red flowers?? This walmart gives people permission to park overnight yet they contract with a tow company which is supposedly allowed to tow vehciles parked there past midnight. This tow company has very unprofessional, aggressive, and CORRUPT tow truck drivers. I was at this Walmart on 3/18/2023 and witnesssed this flat bed tow truck driver from American Tow and Recovery (unaccompanied by security, law enforcement or walmart personnel) yelling and banging on people's vehicles. I spoke to one of these unfortunate people to get the full story on this disturbing scene. She was still half asleep, scared and distressed as she was about to drive out of the parking lot. She told me that the tow truck driver was banging super hard on the windows and threatening to tow people while they were in their vehicles despite them explaining that they received manager approval to park overnight in addition to there being no posted signs saying No Overnight Parking. This lady then drove off and sure enough....a few minutes later the tow truck driver aggressively approached me threatening to tow my vehicle. I calmly explained to him that people are allowed to park here with manager approval. This got him even more mad and began attempting to hook up my vehicle to his truck with me INSIDE (which by the way is ILLEGAL). At this point i got out of my car, told him I was calling the police and began video recording him and taking pictures of his truck. IMMEDIATELY he got scared and drove off as I continued recording him driving out of the premises. Unfortunately after filing a police report, they were never able to find the tow truck driver, but told me to file a complaint with the company. Luckily the driver never returned that night to kick out the remaining parked vehicles. Went to all self-checkout years ago, but usually only one person to assist a dozen lines if there are problems - and there usually are, because the checkout machines never work right. The last time I was there I tried to use a Walmart gift card, but made a mistake which caused it to take money out of my account instead of taking the gift card amount off my bill. Tried to get assistance to fix the problem, no one knew who to fix it, and most of them didn't care. At the Customer Service counter one staff member loudly proclaimed, "I don't have time for this, it's time for my break." This is the worst Walmart I have ever been in. You know I ran over a bought glass bottle in the park and ride at Walmart in Hixson Tennessee and I heard my tire hissing his eye got out and checked it well I went across the parking lot I was going in the store and I seen two guys walking across the front of the store and when I had a name tag on so I asked me if he was a manager he said yeah so loud ask him to come and look at my tire because I just ran over a bottle in your parking lot he came looked at with the bottle was that and then he looked at my tire and so of course then when he been down and I've been down again it wasn't leaking turned out my motor was pissing but the fact that he came over and acknowledged the fact that I did run over a bottle and he was checking the tire out let me know that he was going to do what he was had to do to fix it if it did match the tire up so I just want to give a shout out to that guy because as we all know most Walmart employees could give two s**** if something bust your tire if you're having a good day if they could even help you find something so Stacy was his name and he was a manager read more

There was a time when Walmart was the least expensive. That time has come and gone. The food for most items other than staples is around the same as other stores. The shelfs are always bare, prices usually wrong because of either wrong tags or wrong place on the isle. They no longer check you out at my stores because there is usually only one or two checkers. Needed amoxicillin for strept throat. I can't take the pills so I needed the liquid. My provider called it in. It took 3 different phone calls bc they could not do simple math to change it to a liquid. Ok maybe the provider has to tell them liquid and how to do their job and calculate it for them. For a third call she called in 250 mg/ 5 mls every 8 hrs in a 100 ml bottle. They STILL didn't know how to mix this drug. I'm a nurse anesthetist and do drug calculations every day and according to my drug resource this is a correct dose. I had to be the middle man between my NP and the pharmacist bc it took 2 days just to not even have them fill it. I called CVS and spoke with their pharmacist and they were floored this was even happening. I'm not sure where Walmart pharmacists go to school but probably shouldn't be practicing. I will never use a Walmart pharmacy again. Stick to cvs or Walgreens not this Walmart pharmacy. It's an antibiotic. It's not super hard to mix. read more

For a Walmart.... this one is alright. Usually quick enough to open another line if the open ones get backed up. They stay stocked pretty well and unlike the other Walmart near me, I don't have to work around huge stocking blocks as often when shopping. The grocery pickup is my favorite and the people who work that department are always very friendly. My only complaint about that is I get 101 bags with one item in each! Oh speaking of bags.... a few of the cashiers have made it clear they despise my reusable shopping totes. Lol. They bag it up anyways of course but with lots of huffs and puffs. Seems to be too hard to figure out how to load them even though I lay my groceries out on the belt to make it seamless. Nonetheless, I do avoid these 2 ladies if I can. I was in Walmart walking around trying to buy a few things cause I had just got paid. I was minding my business walking around when I got to the craft section, I looked around and then went into the clothes section when I seen this weird lady watching me. NOT ONLY WATCHING ME but FOLLOWING ME TOO. It made me feel uncomfortable. I moved around a bit to confirm and not just being paranoid and yeah she was following n trying to hide like if I hadn't seen her already MULTIPLE times. I ran to an isle and drop all the stuff I was getting and went to the front I decided to get myself some candy and there she was staring at me smacking her hands on a pill box that she later placed down where I was checking out and proceeded to stare at me. She glared at me and I don't even know who lady is. She might've been a Walmart employee but the way she made me feel uncomfortable and the look on her face like if she was trying to accuse me of stealing or trying to catch me 'steal' I guess this girl has never seen a Hispanic girl shopping during the day to be following one around and hiding. read more

We were in line on October 11, 2019, (after standing for quite a while), and the cashier in our line put his 'closed' sign in front of the man in front of us, us and the people in line behind us! But for those looking for savings at Walmart and those looking to use the online pickup system...please read about my experience this weekend. I ordered an iWatch 3-series that was at "Special Buy" price online from the Signal Mountain Walmart (Supercenter #3659) in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday 7/20/19 to be picked up by noon. Walmart placed a hold on my debit card for $217. Then, Walmart sent me an email stating there was a delay in the order and that they were reviewing "my payment information" and that was nothing for me to do. I waited around most of the day and still no more update. So, I went to the Walmart to speak with Customer Service, yet on this day it was closed due to some sort of "employee shortage." I walked back to the electronics department and the young man behind the counter rifled through some drawers and was unable to find the iWatch I had ordered. So, I had to drive to another Walmart across town and had to cancel my online order. Believe me that I called to see if the item was actually in stock. What a poorly managed Walmart at Signal Mountain. It's just sad. There were several lines 10-15 people in length waiting to check out. One older gentleman walked up the young female manager and commented on how disjointed the management was. I have never heard of a Walmart closing its customer service. How do you resolve returns, exchanges, or items that are rung up improperly without a someone behind the customer service counter. Bottom line is beware ordering and picking up at a Walmart location especially the one in Signal Mountain, TN. You have to call and verify that the item you want is actually there and beg someone to hold onto it until you can arrive in person. And you should probably check that there are enough employees present to run the Customer Service desk in case there is an issue. Furthermore, the runaround Walmart gives you when there is a stocking issue on their end is unfortunate to say the least. Here's the email from Walmart (it's hard not to think that this is a joke): "Hello M------, We've received your order and we're currently verifying your payment and other information. We're doing this to make certain your financial information is safe. We'll process your order right away, as soon as we're done with verification. No cashier in the Assisted Check Out lane. TWO employees standing to one side near check out area chatting together, and doing nothing else. Difficult to find someone to direct you to what you came for, and I needed help, the entire store had been rearranged. I asked and apparently they occasionally open the Assisted Check Out lane, but only when they have enough people working that day. I don't know what people with worse disabilities than mine do. A staff member was so rude to my 5 year old that I asked for a meeting with the manager. He couldn't have cared less. A truly appalling place that I will never step inside of again. Their returns are awful. Should you choose to return an unused item with tags and receipt on, but it got a little spotty because you walked about half the parking lot in the rain you will be accused of returning a used item. Another item I was trying to return is a holiday sweater with tags on and receipt intact. Never used it, couldn't get to the party so returning thr sweater. They couldn't find it in the system so now I will have to go to the walmart store in hixson where I bought it from. Last I checked walmart is a chain of stores with a centralized point of sale system. Also I cannot stand the attitude of the females at the customer service counter. read more
