Incompetent staff working there in the pharmacy department. Each month I tell them I don't want a 3 month supply of medication as I prefer to just get my 30 day supply. Doctor has already forwarded the prescription to this pharmacy and they refuse to fill my prescription because they claim I got a 90 day supply. What 90 day supply has its been 30 days since my prescription was last filled with them. I explain the same thing each month and each month it's the same foolishness. read more

This has been a week for the books... not a good one. I have dropped off prescriptions twice and had one prescription called in. All three times when asked when I would like to pick them up, I've said... as soon as possible. The first two times, I dropped off the prescription, drove thru a drive thru to get something to eat and my prescriptions were ready by the time I got back. The last time, I called and told them I was expecting a prescription to be called in and they called me as soon as it was ready. The fact that they are open 24hrs, I can go in my pajamas and they even give Beasley a doggie treat thru the window... This CVS deserves that 5th star in my book. read more

They tend to autofill everything although I don't prefer this, but, I get a text, show up, wait five minutes, get a friendly face, pick up my stuff and go. This review should be ZERO stars. I made an appointment for a COVID vaccine booster and arrived 10 minutes prior to my appointment time, as instructed. When I walked up to the counter the pharmacist saw me, but didn't acknowledge me. I had to yell, "Excuse me", to get an acknowledgment from him. I told him I was there for my COVID vaccine appointment, and he told me to have a seat. After waiting 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time (40 minutes total), and watching him help other people in the drive through (some who didn't even have a prescription), but he filled anyway, he told me to have a seat in a back corner. The pharmacy area was filthy with trash on the floor and all over the table where he directed me to sit. He then told me that there was no appointment for me in his system. I showed him my confirmation email and text. He made no apology for the mistake on their end, and then said it would be 30 more minutes before he could give me the vaccine. At this point, I didn't feel comfortable getting an injection in the filth, so that's when I left never to return to this CVS. It was a horrible, unsettling experience. read more

It's too bad the pharmacy industry includes this chain. They act like they are doing you a favor by taking your Rx. I got very frustrated at the waits and poor service. I left when they gave me back an Rx when they couldn't fill it. They didn't call another pharmacy and said it might be in later in the week and check back then. I took it to Savon Pharmacy in the Albertson's across the street. They always fill my Rx's and they are better priced, too! read more

I previously used this pharmacy to fill my monthly prescriptions and always ran into rude pharmacy staff but put up with it because the pharmacy is conveniently close for me. But, after so many times and STILL the service is TERRIBLE, and oddly enough the staffs attitude has worsened over time, and I will NEVER return to this CVS. I likely won't use their store in general from now on because it seems like every single time I go, I have a frustrating experience. This specific location has been by FAR the WORST in term of customer service and professionalism and I will explain why: 1. I filled my pain medication once and was shorted 3 pills( out of 9 for a partial refill). I called them once I realized they were missing and was harshly accused of lying, only to receive a call back minutes later from the manager to be told that the staff member who filled it DID INDEED short my script and that the three missing pills would be waiting for me at the pharmacy. When I got there I could hear two pharmacy techs snickering and gossiping about my situation. Acting like I'm some idiot. 2. I went in on a separate occasion to fill a prescription that was needed and the pharmacist felt that since I was in a rush (because I was going out of town at 5am that next morning and needed my medication before leaving) that I was being sketchy and he took my ID from me, scanned it on his computer and said to me that I was a druggy for being so "shifty" (BECAUSE I WAS STRESSED THAT HE WAS GIVING ME A HARD TIME AND I STILL HAD TO PACK TO FO OUT OF TOWN and it was 11pm already) and not ever going to be allowed to enter a cvs to fill a script again, and if I was, then I'd be lucky. Wtf?! 3. It takes forever to get a prescription filled and the staff has no care towards the customer or their needs. And if you do have a problem with the service from the pharmacy, the only other person there to help is the pharmacist who is the worst of them all when it comes to customer service and actually wanting to help you. The store manager doesn't have any power over the pharmacy and cannot help with a problem (Like shorting medication, stealing prescriptions- Nothing! ) I have never had a worse experience and do not recommend others to go here. read more

Had a last minute prescription fill request. My doctor called it in. I arrived 15 minutes later and talked to the drop off desk. Told him I had a flight to catch and can only wait for my prescription at my lunch hour. 15 minutes later they called my name to let me know it was ready!! I'm grateful they are open 24hrs, but waiting over an hour for something they said would take 30min, is ridiculous. The tech asked when I needed the scripts and I said now and smiled. I told the girl that my hubby just got out of the ER and really needed the meds. She said it would only take 30 min. Over an hour later I have his meds. I dislike CVS so badly. I avoid them at all costs. I stopped going to Target because they are now CVS. Thank goodness for Heights Pharmacy. Locally owned and you have your meds is about 10 min. read more

It doesn't matter how proactive you are or try to simplify your transaction it always gets screwed up, filled incorrectly or is not filled because the message left for the next tech wasn't done. Worst, most inept and rude pharmacy staff I've ever dealt with. I was in a bind as my regular pharmacy was closed and I couldn't skip another dose. They wouldn't provide a single dose and didn't offer any solutions whatsoever. Just "sorry we can't fill it". Another pharmacy said that obviously I couldn't miss doses on this med and gave me a solution. I felt mocked at my frustration. Worst pharmacy I have ever seen. Lost scripts, give 24hrs and still haven't had enough time to fill scripts and always understaffed. So expect to wait an hour just to find out your script is not yet filled. Love the company but the pharmacy inside is giving it a bad name. read more

Horrible location, made me decide to never go to CVS again!! Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I've had! I waited 1.5 hours to get a prepackaged antibiotic. What a crock of horse dung!! So completely unorganized and just awful customer service!! Do not go here!! Then there's trying to get out of the parking lot, plan on waiting an extra hour for that too. I feel sorry for anyone who chooses this CVS! I am so disappointed in the store at Frankford and the Tollway, Dallas, Texas. I had an antibiotic called in from my doctor in the early afternoon. I went by at 5 to pick it up and after waiting in line and seeing another customer upset that theirs wasn't ready, I was told mine was in process.Thankfully, I thought to ask how long it would be because I needed to wait for it, she then said, with NO URGENCY, that they were out of stock. Had I waited for the text to come through to pick it up, my child would not have received his first dose last night. I asked if she could call another pharmacy and have them start to fill it and she said that any CVS would be able to see the prescription. I asked again if she could call the pharmacy and have them get it started for me. She looked perturbed, but went to another computer. As I stood there, I noticed how dirty this store is, unbelievable. She said they were filling it, but when I got there, they had not heard from her. She lied! Terrible CS! read more

So the people giving this place 5 stars, are you employees of friends/family of the pharmacy staff? Store is nice, staff friendly. But DO NOT use the Pharmacy!!! Nothing is ever ready when promised and it's only gone downhll in the last two years. They text you saying your meds are ready. You drive there to pick them up. Nope, not ready. "Come back in an hour".... I wait two hours. I go inside this time, is it ready? Nope. Wait while they FILL it while I'm standing there. They texted me on a Tuesday that my meds were ready. Sunday comes, and they STILL aren't ready? The medication that I'm supposed to take at 8 am didn't get to me until after NOON..... Like to WAIT and WASTE TIME? Use this pharmacy! The pharmacy staff is so super slow. The best hint is call ahead, get a text and email the prescription is ready. Then wait a day or two until they have texted at least twice that it is ready. Then go between 10 and 11 or 2 and 4 and you will only have to wait 15 minutes if you are the only person in line. read more

If you enjoy dealing with morons at the pharmacy, this is the place for you! It's close by, so that's the only reason why I go here. After today, I'm going to start looking for someplace better. When they're not screwing up getting my mom's prescriptions refills, they keep people waiting in line for a very long time despite having several people working behind the counter. They constantly indulge the customers at the drive up window who insist on having a consultation while there are three or four other cars behind them. Today, they were out of the medication that I needed. What did they do for me? Not a damned thing! They wouldn't call to find a CVS that had what I needed. I had to do that on my own. I was worried that it would look really suspicious for me to call around looking for prescription drugs, so it would have been better to have them do it. When I left, and then called another location myself, they offered to make the additional calls for me, and found what I needed. CVS is supposed to send text messages when your prescription is ready, but these morons don't seem to understand how to make this work. They're rude on the phone, and act like idiots in person. I can't understand why anyone would rate this location in a good way. They're horrible. read more

They're terrible. They totally gave me the wrong prescription! I came through the drive through 2 hours after my doctor had called in the rx and they told me it wasn't ready and that I need to wait like 40 minutes. I said my doc had called it in 2 hours ago and I was on my way to work so I couldn't wait. I needed this med due to an infection. I waited about 20 minutes in the drive-thru with the other cars honking at me. They gave me my rx and I drove off. After I was already on my way to work, I read the bottle-- it was the total wrong rx! I have never been ordered this particular med in my life and I do not have the problem this med is intended for. I called my Dr. He told me they must have heard him wrong because that is not what he called in. He had even given them the indication for the med, which is NOT what the med they gave me is for. He called them back and told them they gave me the wrong med. I then get a call that I should come back and give them back that med and they will give me the right one. Needless to say I had to suffer the whole night at work from not having picked up the right med. I've NEVER had a pharmacy screw up like this. The pharmacist apologized, but that doesn't make up for incompetence. read more

IMMEDIATELY accused of theft returning a product I came in to return, a clerk accosted MY product convinced he saw me take it off the shelves Offering no proof of evidence so Requesting the service of the manager who agreed instantly with the clerk without any research or proof also ignoring my requesting video footage to prove my innocence numerous times, and It was only until other customers demanding to provide evidence of my guilt or innocence did I receive the Service I requested from the beginning did he review the tape finding me innocent of their adamant accusation, I still received no apology when The video footage clearly showed no theft but left me with the feeling of Being profiled and automatically assumed to be a nefarious delinquent, embarrassed from the negative attention from other customers I've never felt such aggressive judgment and will share the be taking this up with corporate this place is not getting my business anytime soon and I wouldn't recommend returning until corporate is able to employ competent employees that make a feel respected and not like a criminal based on my skin or appearance read more

I must tell you my experience today at the Albertson's pharmacy on Frankford Road compared to the CVS pharmacy just across the street. Last week, I went to CVS to get my flu shot. The clerk said my insurance says I am not eligible. As I have insurance through a large corporation, I have a designated help desk.. I called them and they spoke directly to the clerk assuring him that I was fully insured and walking him through the claim. After over an hour, I was informed that they still could not "get it to process" and sent me home with a promise to call when they figured out what was wrong with their system!. Today, I went to Albertson's to shop and decided to try their pharmacy. My shots are covered under my medical plan and not my drug plan and thus requires some kind of override on the usual pharmacy claim system. However, the pharmacist gave me my shot because "your getting the shot is the most important thing and I don't want you to leave here without it. We will get the insurance worked out." Oh my, what a wonderful attitude and what a caring person. Such a contrast to CVS. CVS should be ashamed to treat a customer the way I was treated. By the way, I called CVS and told them this story. They apologized saying that they knew I was fully insured and that it was a glitch in their system that they had not yet been able to work out. read more
