This place was a little sketchy and I did not feel like I wanted to stay very long. The no trespassing and no loitering signs on the front were a giveaway that maybe there had been some problems here in the past. Once inside the store was mostly organized but there were some areas that weren't. It felt overcrowded and therefore a bit overwhelming. I give this location 0 stars!!! Worst pharmacy in the United States. When you leave a message, and you will be forced to as no one ever answers a phone. They will never get back to you. Oh and if you should answer the question on app "How are we doing?" You can be honest and request a call back, though you will NEVER HEAR BACK. I'm in line at drive thru now and listening to the client in front of me getting frustrated and honestly DONT COME HERE I DONT THINK THEY EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT THERE JOB IS. It's very sad as they have the worst customer service. I was just cut off because I didn't say my date of birth quick enough. The pharmacy here is 0 stars, every time I go here there's a long wait time, poor communication, and employees who act annoyed when customers ask basic questions. I've had issues with prescriptions not being ready when promised and no one seems willing to help or explain what's going on. Customer service at a pharmacy should make people feel supported, especially when it involves medications and health, but this location consistently does the opposite. I normally try to be understanding, but after multiple bad experiences, I felt like this review needed to be written. I really hope management takes these complaints seriously and improves the way customers are treated. read more

Gave a call only to be answered by a machine, and during the call back, the associate adamantly stated they had nothing under my name. I'd like to give "0" stars. It's sad, I used to recommend this 24 hr pharmacy for my patients but it's just become horrible. Tonight they told a patient they hadn't received a prescription that I show they received an hour ago (electronic time stamp). My patient needed the medication urgently and they were so rude to her she as sobbing when I called her. I called the pharmacy and I have been on hold on the "PROVIDER LINE" for over 40 minutes. WHAT IN THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO THIS PHARMACY??? Why is the price a healthcare so high? Because patients who could be managed by their family doctor end up in the ER because poorly managed pharmacies like this CVS at Frankford and the tollway. I'll be reporting this to. s supervisors tomorrow and I'm sure they will not care. read more

This CVS used to be a pretty easy process. Over the last 6 months it has degraded to barely even able to function. There is always a line - yes even after 9:00PM.. They are understaffed, disinterested, and just short of rude. Some days there are only two people behind the counter. You can always hear their phone saying " 3 pharmacy calls" OR MORE, yet they do nothing about it. The store front is filthy, carpet filthy, and disarray everywhere. Anyone switched to the one at Midway and Parker? I only been there once for a covid booster a year or more ago. It's worth the extra few minutes IF it's any better. I don't alway post negative reviews as I think many people do so out of a one or two time experience. But for me? I'm done with that store. read more

Worst pharmacy. My son and I are both sick. His prescription was sent in on Thursday and it is now Sunday. I have been feeling really sick and haven't been able to get up until today. Have been giving my son over the counter medication. Went to pick up his prescription today (Sunday) and they told me that his prescription is not ready. Another worker chimed in and said they've been out of the medication for 3 weeks and that I need to transfer my prescription. I don't understand why they didn't call me to tell me this on Thursday or Friday. read more

Worst pharmacy ever! I only go here because it's close by. After reading the reviews, I see things haven't changed in over 13 years. Hey CVS Corporate, y'all need to step in and re-do this entire store and get people in the pharmacy that are competent... and you need to pay them more than $15./hour! I was in the store waiting to get a RX filled and I saw a notice posted on the pharmacy wall for help wanted "Pharmacy Technician-$15./hr". When I have called for the pharmacy, I'm literally on hold for over an hour and no one picks up the phone! So I decide to just drive there(much faster) only to wait in line at the pharmacy counter. This is a top location for CVS, so please get this place revamped and on the right track. People are leaving and going elsewhere. I'll be back when you do. read more

This is the worst pharmacy EVER. I am a cancer patient. My doctor called in a controlled pain reliever at 11. They told him he must get insurance approval. I called this store at 2:45 to see about the prescription. I offered to pay for it out of pocket. I was then told it was OUT OF STOCK!!! I asked who might have it. They gave me the address of that CVS. Then I was told that the doctor would have to call the other location to give them the prescription. I called that store. They said it appears on line that they have it but won't know until they get the order and can unlock the drawer!! Just when I think this store can't get any worse they prove me wrong. The other reviews here about the dreadful pharmacy are....100% RIGHT. There's one man in particular who seems to work late hours who is so dreadfully rude to customers...he doesn't even turn around to talk to you. He keeps his back turned to you. You'll know which idiot I'm talking about. I'm shocked no one has filed a BBB complaint against this location and their negligent, lazy pharmacy staff. I thought I'd seen some bad pharmacists in my day but this one takes the top prize. Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Unfortunately, it's location is super convenient. They are very short handed. I've been using this 24hr CVS for all my meds going on 3.5yrs now. I've never had an issue with something not being ready or waiting more than 10mins or so. Pharmacy is always curteous and answers any questions I have for them. I try not to really buy anything here as their prices are higher than walmart, but every now and then you can find a buy one get one offer on makeup, cereals, and laundry soap. read more

If there were another 24 hour pharmacy nearby, I would absolutely take advantage of it. EVERY time (I come at various times) I have been here and asked how long it would take to fill a prescription, they tell me at least 3 hours and every time they use the excuse that they are short staffed. Sounds to me as if they need to hire additional staff. Ex: At 7:00 in the morning on a Friday, they only have a pharmacist here and no tech. Minimum time to fill a prescription is 45 minutes. If you like to wait, then this is your spot. My doctor faxed the prescription over a bit before 2:30. Went to get it after work (about 5:40) and it wasn't ready...had to wait another 40 mins, which means it took them over 3 hours to fill a drug that costs $6. And wait again to pick up the drug once it was ready... in a line that didn't seem to move. I wanted to laugh at the "promised time" they stamped on it - it was 5:59. I didn't walk out of there until after 6:20 causing me to miss the rest of my plans for the night. Out if curiosity, I asked the tech if they don't work on prescriptions faxed directly from the doctor until patient gets there to pick it up and she said no, they were just busy with other waiting customers. read more

The customer service at the pharmacy of this CVS is the worst you can imagine. Get ready to bring at least three hours of wait time to get access to your ordered prescription. There is one person behind the counter of the pharmacy trying to serve 20 people waiting inside of CVS, and an endless line of cars in the drive-through, while another pharmacist is distributing Covid shots in another area. The manager of this place obviously couldn't care less about his employees nor about his customers. I walked in there today two times, every time waiting and waiting, with a result of having to walk away due to time limits of mine, of course without my prescription. If you try to call, nobody will pick up the phone. The manager of this place should be ashamed of himself, and he is well aware of the situation, since I had the person in the front of the store give him a call, without any positive result of course. This place is putting peoples health into jeopardy, because if they are not able to pick up their medication, that's a true problem. If I could give zero stars here I would have, but unfortunately, you have to put at least one star here. After going to 2 other CVS pharmacy's a walgreens, and a kroger, the only good thing I can say is they had my medication at this location. When dropping the prescription off inside my husband stated we will be waiting while they fill the prescription. The INCREDIBLY unprofessional pharmacy staff told my huband it will be 30-40 minute wait, an hour later we asked the status and he said it will be another 20-30 and we will call when its ready. Nearly 2 hours later we go through the drive through and... It was ready. Needless to say no phone call, the guy handling the customers is rude and lack of empathy towards spending 5 hours of our day trying multiple pharmacy's to get this filled the last thing we needed is for our FIFTH pharmacy to lack customer service. Walked in and instantly have the "Manager" hovering near by. So I ask if she was going to just pace back and forth by could I get some help. I would not have stayed at the same spot reading the labels if I knew what I wanted. She of course walked off. Then found what I really wanted was behind glass i. A cabinet. Ask if I could get an item. Was told they did not have the key. They entire time looking at me and my buddy that is African American. Like we were about to hold up the place. Granted the three ladies I dealt with were nice (2 pharmacy , 1 upfront cashier ), however this location's pharmacy is so incompetent. Of course I read the reviews prior to coming but my job left me no choice since our new insurance provider is CVS Carenow. .leaving me feeling helpless because I no longer have an option on which pharmacy I can go to! My preferred pharmacy was Walgreens (not that they're much better), but when they say they'll fill an order , even via phone ..it's done on time!!! I called CVS last night at 630p, spoke to a lady for 10 minutes, gave her everything she asked for in order to transfer my prescriptions and have them filled - she asked if 10am pickup the next day was good, I said yes even though I'd be at work I figured that would guarantee my order is ready by the time I arrive. .wrong! I just got here at 615pm, not only was my order not filled, but they had none of the information I discussed with the lady on the phone last night. This place is an unprofessional joke, and I don't appreciate my time being wasted due to mismanaged staff! This is the worst run pharmacy in Dallas. My prescribers (3) have complained about their incompetence and my last set of prescriptions had to be placed THREE TIMES before they were filled. I was on hold for 46 minutes checking to make sure they had filled all my requests before they answered the phone. They kept prompting to get a flu shot but when I showed up the pharmacist on duty 'doesn't do shots'. I am switching to another pharmacy next month. read more

The young lady who greeted me today and helped me in the drive up window was kind, curteous and very helpful. I have not seen her before. I use this drived through a couple of times per month. she is the very first person to say my prescriptions are tied to my rewards card and I do not need to give her my keys with the card attached.
