no toilet paper

Update : Changing this to one star due to the fact they have now took away the women's restroom. They only allow the men's restroom which is one stall for the entire building and REEKS of urine. Very very strongly. And shocker , there was no toilet paper.... maybe they are stuck in 2020 and still think there's a toilet paper shortage ? Also extremely filthy in that bathroom and I visited a few days ago and after waiting a few minutes in line for the bathroom i walked in and found what i feared to be poop smeared on the wall in the initial of an "R". No soap in the bathroom either. I also was waiting after picking up medicine and sunscreen and I watched a cashier literally belittle an elderly woman who was obviously confused on why she couldn't purchase tylenol at self checkout. I felt so bad for her I had to step in and explain her that it's an age restricted product because the cashier only yelled at her but wouldn't take the time out of his day to explain exactly why.

Halloween is really my favorite time of the year. So when I saw this skeleton figure I knew I had the perfect place for this little guy. The price was a bit high for me to buy it so thought I'd wait a few days before Halloween when they start getting rid of seasonal merchandise. I spoke with Gene, one of the managers there and asked when it would be going on sale. He said they'd probably discount it after the 31st and maybe even the following weekend. He was so accommodating and helpful. Thinking that it would look great on my patio for Halloween night, I called him a second time and asked him if there would be any possibility of grabbing it that night and offering him 50% off. He knew I was pretty persistent in wanting it so he accommodated my request and asked when I could stop by. Within 30 minutes, I loaded him into my car, got the candy and set him up to greet anyone who came by the front door. Thank you Gene!! I appreciate this kind of customer service. CVS has some great seasonal decorations. Who knew?!

Don't go to this Pharmacy, The male pharmacist will never fill my Controlled substances prescriptions. Even though I have used CVS for 30 years. Just had breast surgery and he will not fill. He says it's to Sususpicious. Every time I go there he acts like he is my dr. And I get a lecture every time, and then he never fills it when I go back. Ask me , why I go back. Only because they have a drive threw! He can see my medical prescription history. No more! Worse customer service ever, lies to me all the time. He is verbally abusive. I am 64 years old. And I am in great health. I bring all the required paperwork. And he is just an Ass hole! Is it because I am women? Senior? I didn't realize I was being profiled. And that's exactly what this prick does. Is profiles. Maybe if I grabbed him in the nuts as hard as I could, he might then understand what it's like to have a 8 hour surgery and need pain pills Last I checked, I was old enough to pick my own dr. And he makes my medical decisions. Do u people realize, the only people getting Controlled substances are the Drug Addicts! This pharmacist needs to go to a seminar on how not to profile and how to speak appropriately to women!

After what takes several attempts to get a live person to speak with I finally get ahold of a person in the pharmacy. I told them I was returning a missed call from them. The woman who answered said " We never called you" I asked about my prescription that was called in by my provider several times. The person on the other lone repeatedly refers to me a "hun". She tells me " I don't know what to tell you hun maybe they called into another pharmacy. I spoke to my provider twice and they gave me the number they called and even relistened to their own voice mail message to make sure it was there . The woman just continued to brush me off. Thank god the pharmacy at Monarch beach was so much better. One phone call and my prescription was filled. I think this pharmacy has never heard of customer service

I had the worst experience with this pharmacy last night…read more Absolutely rude and unprofessional staff I took my wife from hospital home and I ran to CVS to pick up her medications talked to Jim @ counter he was absolutely rude and didn't want to help with the problem I had with the order he just told me it's 8:30 and we will close soon I called the hospital to correct the order so I can get the medication since my wife was in pain Jim didn't want to deal with it I had the nurse on the phone to clear the order and resend it but Jim didn't want to deal with it Nurse from hospital told me wait she will send it again and will call the pharmacy to make sure to give me the medications since we just left the hospital Hospital called the cvs and lady in the back talked to them I was still waiting now it's 8:50 I asked them what happened Jim told me sorry we closing then I called the hospital again and they told me pharmacist didn't want to help I was beside myself I asked who did they talked to the nurse told me she talked to Kathy I asked who is Kathy .. Kathy came to counter and I asked her what is the problem and why they can't help me and Kathy told me well the nurse made fun of my name and I told her to send you to other CVS and they closed the door I was like are you kidding me I need help need the medicine you can just do this she just walked away I had to call the hospital again ask them to send the order or other cvs so I end of picking up the medication 10:00 pm from other side of town This is so unfortunate to have people like Jim and Kathy in the healthcare industry that they don't give a dam to people and has zero empathy I told them please help me I need to run back home my wife is not feeling well and she can't be alone and Jim's response was sorry you should have came earlier and this is not my problem I would love to talk to the pharmacy manager and ask him to read all the reviews and see that all the clients are complain about the staffs being rude and disrespectful This is a local business and we have to support them but unfortunately I won't be back to this location even though it's very close to my house Sorry for the long text I am get upset just typing about my bad experience I hope this is helpful to the people in charge and hope they take an action to train the staff and serve the community better

Open late, which is a rarity for any business in the OC, but that's because it's a franchise if…read moreanything, BUT it was crazy that the pharmacy was still open around 9 PM. Many other pharmacies in Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, etc. all close at around 5 PM and some aren't even open on the weekend (Sunday), but this one was. Not sure if this is just a change in CVS that I haven't paid attention to, or if it was always like that. There's self check out and the staff working was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to the cashier girl who talked Calico Critters with me, you a real one. Stock is fairly decent for seasonal items and it didn't look super disorganized. Lots of World Cup merchandise randomly and it's always so funny that the souvenirs for Irvine are ocean and beach themed when you're not even THAT close to the water but I guess it works in a pinch for those unfamiliar with California geography. Plenty of parking since it's in a super big plaza and the time where we went wasn't that busy (as many things have already closed).

Prescription was submitted Tuesday 4/14, finally received a text informing me it was filled Tuesday…read more4/21 and ready for pick it up, I go in and am told it was $400, said I'd be back to pick it up. Call in with a manufacturers discount coupon I was given, told it doesn't work. I call doctor and manufacture, told coupon is valid and instructions to ensure it goes through. Received another "ready for pick up" text Thursday 4/23, go in to pick it up on 4/24, spend an hour troubleshooting the coupon, told it still doesn't work. I tell them "I'll be back with my HSA card to pick up on Sunday" - return Sunday 4/26, told "medication is on hold"...sent to consultation window, told "the coupon does work" and the total is now $500...and it's not filled, in fact, it was never filled... I explain everything, they say "I don't know who worked with you, but the coupon works, but the item was never filled" - provide text showing it was filled, proceed to identify by name the 2 people who helped me troubleshoot on Friday, one of those identified claims "I never helped you"...after some pushback says "you declined the medication"...and the kicker, "the item is out of stock"... tl;dr First, they said it was $400, then they said coupon didn't work, then said they never helped me, then they say it was never filled. Then I prove it was filled, now they say they DID help me, but claim I declined it. Suddenly now the coupon works, it's $500, but it's out of stock? This place is a joke. Other things to note: The nearby hospitals send everyone here because it's 24 hours, so there's almost always a line. There are a few kind and patient staff members, but otherwise the rest are unhelpful and some will lie straight to your face.

It is the WORST PHARMACY we have ever dealt with, with rude and unprofessional staff - reaching the highest level of unprofessional and rude behavior today, 29 November 2025. It's possible the representatives today may be the holiday coverage staff however their behavior towards customers is unacceptable. Elijah and Arianna are incredibly rude to customers, unprofessional, and they discriminate against various clients by showing favoritism towards people they know, and for whom they create special rules at the expense of increased wait times for the other customers, ie they are taking customers they prefer ahead of others. Today their pharmacist was on an extended "lunch break" 2:37-3:37 pm (?) and I had to wait 50 minutes in the pharmacy while another lady who had the same situation was dispensed her medications when telling them she was a health care professional herself (which I am as well). The favoritism and discrimination were so blatant, I asked to speak with a manager, but none was available. Dante from the CVS store tried to help, but he could not do anything and was appalled himself seeing the behavior of the pharmacy staff. Please spare yourself incredible headache and wait time by avoiding this pharmacy altogether.

They always have kind, knowledgeable pharmacists and technicians. In the 20 years I've been using this pharmacy, I've never had a problem with a prescription that was the pharmacy staff's fault. Our family has also done flu shots here for years and the staff is great, even with kids who are nervous. The rest of the store staff is nice and helpful, too. Shout out to Kristin who works in the cosmetics area and is happy to answer questions, make product recommendations, help you find anything you need. She is a super star! In 2025, I had my Christmas cards done here and they came out great. The photo paper is thinner and smaller than I used to get at Costco but that's what I expected and I was in a hurry. I got the cards in one day and for a great price, since I was not able to get them in time from Shutterfly. Bottom line, I've been using this CVS location for 20+ years and I recommend it.

Delays without communication are irresponsible and unacceptable. Patients deserve reliability, transparency, and basic respect. This pharmacy has failed on all counts.

I've now had two very upsetting experiences with pharmacists at this location. On separate…read moreoccasions, I was treated poorly by two different pharmacists -- one previously and most recently by Pharmacist Marjan. I am a patient with multiple documented chronic conditions and take daily prescribed medications that are managed closely by my physician. My prescription schedule was changed by my doctor from a 30-day cycle to a 15-day cycle, and there appears to be ongoing confusion in this pharmacy's system regarding the correct refill timing. Despite never attempting to pick up medication early, I was repeatedly told that I was doing so. In fact, on one prior occasion a prescription was filled early without me requesting it. Most recently, my doctor called in my prescription on time. When I went to pick it up, I was spoken to rudely and told it was "too early." I was instructed to contact my doctor, which I did immediately. My doctor approved the fill directly, yet the pharmacist still refused and continued to be dismissive. I understand that pharmacies have policies and regulations to follow. However, professionalism, clear communication, and basic empathy are essential in healthcare settings. Being spoken to in a rude or accusatory manner while trying to resolve a documented prescription issue was extremely upsetting. ****I hope management addresses both system errors and customer service, because patients deserve to be treated with respect.
