I ended up speaking with the Pharmacy tech who was super helpful and kind and I left with all the things I needed. I had a very frustrating experience at this CVS Pharmacy today. I arrived at 12:26 PM to pick up a…read moreprescription medication, and the pharmacy refused to help me because they were closing for lunch at 12:30 PM. What I don't understand is why CVS posts that the pharmacy closes from 12:30-1:30 PM, yet the staff is actually shutting things down 5-10 minutes early. We drove out of our way to pick up this medication, only to be turned away. The employee said they needed "five minutes to close and lock up," but all that happened was the gate being pulled down--which took about 30 seconds. Meanwhile, there were people in line, including families with kids, who were also trying to get their prescriptions. What made the situation worse was the attitude of the staff. They were extremely rude, dismissive, and showed zero compassion toward customers who had taken the time to come in before the posted closing time. No one seemed to care that patients rely on these medications. If the pharmacy truly needs to stop serving customers 5-10 minutes before 12:30, then that should be clearly posted. Otherwise, refusing service to people who arrive before the stated closing time is unacceptable. I hope higher management looks into this, because this level of service is incredibly disappointing for a pharmacy where people depend on timely access to their medications.

Another quick update for Target in San Ramon, CA. This trip consisted of me picking up an online…read moreorder. I came in the early evening to pick up my items. The pick up area is the left most entrance in case you were wondering where to park. It's also less crowded on this side of the parking lot. Someone was waiting there to do a pick up and I guess he was waiting for a while and luckily someone was putting away some items and we were able to grab them. I guess he was the only one there. But in no time, I got my items. Perhaps it might be nice to have a buzzer or notification for when people are waiting. Maybe there is already one there and the gentleman who was waiting didn't see it. Other than that, it was nice that this particular Target had the items I wanted as other locations were out. Also luckily, I'm here this week for work so it was convenient. Now is it always the best value? Depends on if there's a sale. But some items I've seen online and in other stores are always comparable. So I like to jump on Target Circle rewards when I can which is free to join which is lovely. When I'm in the area and need something from Target, it's definitely a good one to go to.

I am recently retired from health care so understand the importance of great customer service in our field. Some other employees there need to work on being more receptive to customers. There is one man who speaks very quickly, avoids eye contact and seems like he couldn't be bothered with customers. When you call, before you have a chance to say anything he puts you on hold. He could smile and acknowledge his customers more.
