The woman working the pharmacy checked us in, and she was also responsible for the drive-thru and all regular pharmacy traffic. Honestly, it was too much for one person to reasonably handle in a respectable amount of time. I felt bad for her. She was patient and calm despite everything, but you could tell it was taking its toll. Walgreens needs to do better about staffing. Beyond that, it wasn't a bad experience all things considered. We got all of our shots within a couple of minutes ultimately. But, as we had appointments of 3:30, 3:45, and 4:00, yet we didn't get out of there until close to 4:30, that was a bit of a chore. I'm not sure I would make this my primary pharmacy in the future. If they don't care to staff any better than my current one, then why should I switch?

A few minutes later his name was called and he was given a form to fill out. He completed the form and gave it back to the technician and was told to wait again. About 5 minutes later his name was called, he was given a receipt and told to wait again. After another 10 minute wait, his name was called again and when he went to the counter the pharmacist told him to have a seat and she would be with him in a few minutes. 4 times he was told to wait and 3 of those times after his name was called. You would think that when the pharmacists calls your name and you are given a receipt they would have your prescription ready not call you 4 times and tell you to wait. On another note, I had a question and went to the consultation window. I was not acknowledged for at least 5 minutes. Finally a tech looked up saw me but went back to whatever she was doing. Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!).
