I was picking up an order for someone and this very kind gentleman assisted me in locating the few items I had on my list. The first 2 items were Gatorlyte in 2 different flavors. I didn't see them in the cooler so the kind gentleman went around the store and checked all the possible other places they could be for me. They were out of stock of the items but I was able to replace them with a different flavor. He helped me locate a specific throat lozenge that was in a different aisle separate from the regular lozenges. Lastly, I asked where the covid/flu tests were and he walked me straight to them in the front. This was my first time in this store and because of him I will definitely be returning. I just wish I got his name. read more

Alyssa was very helpful and efficient as four family members had their passport pictures taken and developed. She could have used more assistance as the other cashier went somewhere else for some time so the checkout line got backed up as she took our photos. She handled it all with grace including a rude customer whom she remained kind and polite with. Nice to see someone who actually gives effort and actual customer service with a smile. Clean environment with more and more items on shelves, we are delighted to have Walgreens in the neighborhood. The Pharmacy is proactive in getting clients' prescription filled. Hopefully with the ability to offer Covid-19 vaccines you will help save lives and acquire more patrons. I suggest you educate your customers on all the services that you offer i.e. money transfer, passport photo, parcel holding area, ...etc. Write it down, make it plain. They are prejudiced and lie to the police! I have lived here longer than this store has been open, before the patch of land was even developed. They told the police I was stealing but then refused to show the footage. Stay far away, spend your money elsewhere; On top of lying to the police they weren't even competent enough to print one sheet of paper for my signature in less than ten minutes. They decided to try to provoke me in front of the police!!! The police officer had to tell her to behave. Does that sound like someone who should be running a customer service based business? In addition to all of that, they were milling around doing absolutely nothing like they normally do when i shop there. They make the younger men do all of the work and the managers just walk around trying to provoke guests. I heard another woman respond with frustration when asked "do you need any help?" after they decided to walk behind her all the way to the back the store. I kept quiet about all the unprofessional behavior Ive been noticing but Im going to have to contact corporate about these awful managers. read more

I stopped by this location 2 days before Thanksgiving. The Associate who assisted me was Kevin. Even with the store being busy, it didn't stop Kevin from extending excellent customer services to his customers. He was helpful, friendly and definitely made you feel valued as a customer. This review is strictly for the pharmacy. The pharmacist that gave me my injection was not informative at all. I had an appointment for the Shingrix vaccine. This is a two series injection which this was my first. Of course there still was a wait of about 30 minutes before being called by the pharmacist. I didn't like that she had my medicine already drawed up in a syringe with no name on it. How can I be sure that's what I received. She did ask me what I was there for but I believe it's because she saw me dressed in scrubs. She said nothing just pushed the medicine in my arm and didn't even tell me what to do from that point. When I had all three of my Covid vaccinations. I was asked to sit in the lobby and wait at least 15 minutes before leaving. Of course I didn't receive my Covid shots here. She told me nothing. EXPLAINED NOTHING. Acted as though she didn't want to be there. I got dizzy by my car but she should have told me to stay for awhile. My bandaid was completely saturated in blood. I have never had any other vaccinations with that problem. My arm also broke out on the opposite side of where she supposedly injected me. You can bet I will not be going back there for my second injection. She was not friendly nor informative. I went on May 25th,22. This was an evening appointment. Definitely not happy with the non communication. Please communicate before and after injections. Is that to much to ask? read more

The pharmacy on this location is horrible!!! The pharmacist who gave me my flu shot did not complete her documents and forgot to sign the document. And when i went to get a signature from her, no one can assist me. Its friday, and they want me back on monday bec the pharmacy manager comes in on monday!!! my livelihood depend on this flu shot but i have to wait monday! very unprofessional!!! they can't even give me a copy of my record, wth?! This post is for the pharmacy. I am beyond disgusted and fed up with the call-in process. I wait at least 30 minutes for someone to pick up, and when they do, the staff member has a crappy attitude and rushes off the phone. Yet, their automated system calls my phone at least 3 times a day. Received a text message that my insurance wasn't going to fill my perscription, but when i called (and waited 31mins) I was told the prescription was filled and ready. Some of the cashier staff at the pharmacy need to be re-trained. One cashier in particular takes 15-20 minutes to check out a customer, and then she cant find the prescription in the system. I had to get out of the crazy long line after waiting in the line to call my doctor's office. Only then did the prescription "pop up" on the screen. Ridiculous. GET IT TOGETHER WALGREENS! I do have one praise for the front end staff. Thank you for being prompt with the photo requests and for checking orders out in a quick, friendly manner. read more

I go to this Walgreen whenever I need some thing quick but don't need to go to the grocery store. They are conveniently located and the staff is very friendly. Most recently we have gone several times during the pandemic and the staff takes every precaution to ensure everyone safety. Mask wearing is strictly enforced and I appreciate that. I appreciate the fact that the company as a whole, as well as this particular location, cares about my safety and well-being. The store is very bright and clean. They have pretty much everything you might need. The pharmacy is great! The staff is all knowledgeable and friendly and very professional. I definitely would recommend this location if you find yourself needing something quickly and wanting to have a positive experience and pay a fair price for the convenience. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I refuse to use this pharmacy any longer. They fail to order prescriptions that are out of stock so our supply isn't disrupted. We have found dangerous narcotics that we did not have a prescription for mixed in with other prescriptions we picked up. Use a different pharmacy if you can or at least a different location of Walgreens. This one is terrible! read more

This location REFUSED to refill my mothers prescription because she does not "live within proximity to the store." My mother lives 4.5 miles, or 11 minutes away from the store. My mother has never been refused prescription service because of our distance from the store location by any other pharmacy. She was finally able to get her medication from CVS, who did not need to MapQuest her home address. read more

If I could give it a 1 star I would. f you can wait more than 24 hours for excruciating pain you're good to go to this pharmacy. If you just had surgery, and needs meds filled immediately don't come here.... The pharmacy aren't the quickest... Don't bother calling... no one ever picks up!!!! lol and when you stand in line for 30 minutes to pick up medicine that says it's ready... they will tell you to come back in 2 hours... when in fact they mean tomorrow afternoon... Simply the worst pharmacy around. Their customer service/attitude is equally as bad as their ability to get you your medication on time. I legitimately cannot think of a single time that I've been able to walk up to the counter and pick up my medicine, I've ALWAYS had to come back atleast twice due to them being unable to process the meds even when they give you the ETA! Extremely unorganized. Do better. I'm forced to go here due to my insurance otherwise I would have moved long ago. read more

The pharmacy must change its caller protocols. I called about a prescription that hasn't been filled and waited on hold for 47:52 before someone answered. After she took my name and birthdate she asked to hold on while she checked, and promptly hung up on me. I've now been on hold another 55:35 and counting. Inexcusable. The person knew if was in need of a medication, had my name and date of birth and had, or could easily obtained my callback number. No attempt to reach back to me was ever made and I am holding nearly 2 hours for a simple question. If a call is disconnected they should return that call instead of making customers write bad Yelp reviews! read more

I visit this pharmacy on a monthly basis. The service is mediocre normally however coming from being a CVS Odenton customer, Walgreens was the much better choice for the area. Today I had a very pleasant experience with Jess in the pharmacy on multiple occasions. She serviced my phone call prior to my visit in store and was very friendly and accommodating. When I arrived at the store, she was just as friendly and eager to help me. Because of her service today, I'm giving this store a 5 star review. Their pharmacy has terrible customer service. Every time I pick up my refills, I always have to wait 20-30 minutes despite having only 1 other customer ahead of me. They have 4 staff in the back, but only have 1 person in customer service/ cashier to assist customers. Also, I get multiple texts and calls from Walgreens reminding me to pick up my medicine. However, when I finally pick up my prescriptions, after a few days, my orders are still incomplete and I have to return again. I'm definitely changing to another pharmacy. Not worth it. read more

I have spent in one day one the phone 3times calling (3 hrs and 15min) waiting for someone in the pharmacy to pickup the phone. I made one call to the "manager" asking for help he supposedly sent my call directly to the pharmacist and after about 5minutes the phone on there end went dead. This Walgreens has no customer service. I lay some blame on Americans not wanting to work but you have to start somewhere. I've never been to the pharmacy here (and based on reviews I don't think I want to). But the staff inside the store are always warm and friendly. They will greet you when you come into the store, and consistently ask if you need help. Furthermore. There's never an issue with shortage of staff. Should I ever need assistance, there's always someone floating around the store. The isles are neat and everything is in the right place. The price tags are CORRECT (can't say the same for other drug stores!), and I never have any trouble shopping there. I'm an extreme couponer, so I love how coupon friendly and understanding the staff are when I show up to the counter with 50 coupons (lol). They never complain ! And when something doesn't scan they'll work with me to figure it out and give me my $1 off (yes, it's that serious). That's the type of customer service so many stores lack. I stopped in since I recently moved to the area and had to get all of my prescriptions switched over..first impression is the store looks fairly new and is really spacious! I was able to easily find the things I needed and all of the merchandise was neat and in place. The people seemed extremely nice and multiple workers greeted me as I shopped around. The pharmacy: things seemed really upgraded, they even have kiosk so that you can pay for your prescription and just pick it up at the counter! I opted to wait for the cashier since things didn't seem right online. She was very accommodating and worked through the kinks of transferring my prescription.. Each time I visit the pharmacy it is the worse experience I've ever had. I had an appointment for a vaccine and arrived early to only check in late because of lack of staff to assist with the check in process. It is painfully slow and I'm typically very patient and understand that most places are understaffed. I will never transfer my prescriptions here as a result and will never come back. read more

Pharmacy: one of the worst that pharmacies that I've been to in my life. Due to CVS mi longer accepting Tricare I'm kinda forced into this predicament. They are smears under staffed and they have absolutely no customer skills. I've asked several times for them to contact a manger to provide assistance and they never call IC3. The store in general is cool. Always friendly and the people at the register greet as required. As empty as the store is, there never seems like there is anyone to help to answer any questions or help u look for anything. The store is always and the bathrooms are always clean and in order. The idea that a pharmacy needs to be closed for an hour at lunchtime so all the employees can eat at the same time is ludicrous. I've been in healthcare for 30 years and I've never seen anything like this. The front desk was always covered with staff taking staggered meal breaks. Why not just close the whole store from 1:30 to 2:30 Walreens and really stick it to your customers who may only be able to come in at lunch?! read more

Their pharmacy is terrible. After waiting in the drive thru for about 10 minutes behind two other cars, I get up to the window and a curtain is drawn saying the drive thru is closed. I go inside and wait in line. After another 10 minutes of a pharmacist helping the lady in front of me, she then asks the guy behind me if he has an appointment and proceeds to help him. I finally figure out that the pharmacy is closed from 1pm - 2pm even though they were still vaccinating people. No one addressed me and the only "sign" was a piece of paper at the pharmacy window. I was finally addressed at 2pm by a snarky pharmacy employee who said she didn't know why I was standing where I was because they only have one line. What kind of company randomly closes from 1-2pm? It seems like they should be able to figure out off-setting their lunch schedules so they don't have to close. Either that or be more transparent about closing from 1-2. read more

Picked up two prescriptions for pain within a week due to a major surgery. Both prescriptions were for 20 pills. The first prescription was three pills short and I thought it was post anesthesia math error. I picked up my second prescription this evening after the follow up with my surgeon. It was one pill short. I called and spoke with the pharmacist and she conducted an inventory and told me all were accounted for. I advised her to be vigilant. She replied that she is not there too often. That was the end of our conversation. Be cautious, especially with controlled medications. read more

Pharmacist claimed to be out of the controlled med on my scrip and sent me to the Laurel location at 8pm, guaranteeing that the med was on hand there. However, she refused to call to double check, saying the computer showed 'inventory.'...and once I got to the other pharmacy,--surprise--there was NO inventory of brand or generic. I've since learned that controlled med NEVER show up in computer inventory for any store--inventory can only be checked if a pharmacist has the scrip in front of them. Either the pharm 'stretched the truth' or she's not competent. While the late night pharmacist (who is also the pharm manager) was pleasant enough, her incompetence cost me time, aggravation, and I still do not have the meds needed. read more
