If I could give zero stars I would, do NOT go here!!! I waited in line for over 45 minutes just to get to window & the pharmacist tell me that they're closed. I literally called (moshde, however you spell her name) after waiting in line for 30 minutes with no car moving. She tells me that they're busy which I understand & said she would be right with me, then proceeds to hang up the phone. Yes I argued with her at the window because this makes no sense to me. & she proceeds to say that she didn't "intentionally" hang up, acknowledging that she did hang up. I'm really frustrated right now, just avoid this location & save yourself the stress. read more

Had a great experience speaking with G, the pharmacy manager. I've had less than stellar experiences with pharmacists in this location so he was such a breath of fresh air. Very easy to talk to and is just pleasant overall. Understood and fixed my dilemma in as little as 5 minutes. Of course everyone is going to have a different experience with how much time it takes to fix something, but after all the bad customer service experiences I've had in this place, G made up for all of it. I arrive to pick up meds that I have a text confirmation for just to be told no we have nothing for you I show text they angrily say wait 15 minutes no apology no explanation. I then hear the automated voice recording listing items available for purchase at window I ask for one just to be told nope got to go inside "we don't do that". This is a relatively new CVS that should be clean. After all, it's a pharmacy and supposed to be clean. I visited on a Saturday and asked to use the restroom. It's a unisex bathroom, and you would expect it to be clean, right? Wrong! There was paper overflowing the trash, and according to the inspection sheet, no one had gone in since Monday, five days before. If this were my establishment, heads would roll. Since it's not, I'll just be sure to not patronize this particular store. After all, if the bathroom is this dirty and no one inspected it for 5 days, how can you trust your prescriptions in the pharmacy? read more

This CVS is on the corner of Wilson and Central and therefore within walking distance of my home. I had not been feeling well the last few days (of course i feel fine today) so i decided to come here to have my 2nd Covid test mostly because trying to get an appt for a vaccine is driving me up the wall. And based on the reality of Life, 2021, i of course thought i had COVID and not, which in another time i would have...a cold or just a reaction to that 2nd shot of Anejo the night before. I also heard on the news today that CVS was chosen by the feds to be a chosen drug store to vaccinate people with the Covid vaccine. So this, like my previous test a drive thru affair. I arrived a bit early, stuck a cotton swab up both my nostrils and dunk the swab in un-named liquid and returned it to the CVS Pharmacy person via a lock box: very easy, very secret. The whole process takes bout 5 minutes once you understand the protocols involved with producing and submitting your nasal swab. The drive thru woman was very informative and instructive and made me not feel like so much of a jerk while trying to perform a simple task of swabbing my nostrils. There was only one car behind me (this is a stay in your car, do your own swab test) and therefore it all flowed naturally and quickly. This CVS store like most and since it is right next door to one of our many, many new apartment building stocks all manner of things that one might need in the course of your day: vitamins, Kleenex, prescriptions, candy, soda, water, toilet paper, film, magazines., condoms, juices, beer, etc. CVS is definitely a "drug" store of our era. But as i said i was here for a test and that was quick, painless. Now I'm ready for the Vaccine which i heard today on Tv was going to be available at CVS, Walgreen's and Costco very soon. Now only if i could get an appointment for one and then two. Begging doesn't help...i've tried. Cheers! read more

My partner got out of a wisdom tooth extraction and this pharmacy didn't have any of the meds including the pain meds ready, it took 5 hours and 4 trips back to the pharmacy (by that time the original anesthetic had completely worn off) just for one of the pharmacists to tell us to wait even longer and when I asked if we could hurry up the process called me extremely rude and threatened to not fill the prescription at all. We ended up going to the pharmacy on Montrose which was a much better experience. read more

I usually just go through the drive thru to pick up my prescription, and have noticed multiple pharmacists and techs not wearing masks or just wearing them over their mouths with their nose exposed. Today I went inside for a flu shot and encountered similar behavior from all the employees. When I was getting my shot, an unmasked employee appeared within 2 feet behind me even though 6 ft social distance signs were littered throughout the store. I have severe asthma and would not recommend this location for anyone who is at risk or immunocompromised. read more

I'm giving 1 star to CVS It was the worst day of my life today! This Armenian lady with short and reddish hair approached me.. I said, "I would like to make appointment for a Covid test." She swiftly backed up, asked me to wear my mask. I looked at her oddly... She said, "Are you here to make us sick or kill me?I said, "huh? Relax ma'am, I'll never wish to make people sick or get them killed alright? (Literally lost my patience of trying to be more nice.") I said, I took my test TWICE last night it was negative. I'm here because I need help with the appointment. I can't log in to my Account. Also because my manager sent me to take Covid test today, and I'm here to buy mask too. She started talking other s* and said, If I need rapid or PCR whatever I can go to the location near by. Literally stood 9-10 ft far and telling me "You legally can't walk without the mask. And I looked at her ugly face I said, "I'm not going to argue with stupid people." I went to pick up a mask from their front desk girl. She handed me one nicely. I took it and I walked out. I went to the location she mentioned that was near by and that store said they don't do any Covid-tests and sent me back to this Central location. I said, "I don't want to face this lady again. Thank you very much. Even though they were super kind and nice to me. NOT like this moron! What's the reason of you working here if you can't handle this type of situation? Contrary to all negative/rude/hostile experiences we've had at the Burbank CVS - so awful we travel farther to this Glendale CVS for our all personal and pharmacy needs. This is your typical CVS store. I mainly go here to pick up my prescriptions if I ever have any. If I'm sick I sometimes have trouble looking for what I need because they're always out of certain things. I get that when it's flu season they run out of a lot of things, they should really stock up in advance. When COVID occurred a lot of customers bought multiples of the same over the counter medications for cold and flu medications just to stock up for their personal use. That's something that could have been regulated by the pharmacists since there were others that truly needed it. This CVS is located under a apartment structure where there is good parking and not a lot of people actually go to it because it's not as noticeable as you would think or unless you search for it on Yelp. I go to this CVS often and it's convenient because it's only a block away from my home. read more

Horrible costumer service at the pharmacy! Some of the pharmacy employees need to learn how to greet costumers. They keep giving attitude and are not willing to answer any questions. One of the other assistants is a middle aged woman who is very unprofessional. I called her and asked if my prescription was ready, she said that she's busy and she cant check it and asked me to go in. How crazy is that!? I used to go to the one on Alameda, but I switched to this place when it opened up, because of how close it is to my house. I'd rather drive to burbank to get my prescription and be welcomed, than come to this place and walk out without getting the right service. They're total fraud! After being treated horribly, my mom decided not to pick up her prescription. What they did was they took my mom's prescription as if my mom picked up her meds, AND charged my mom's insurance. We found out about this when my mom went to the Burbank location and asked for the same prescription. That's when they told my mom that it's been marked as picked up. My first & Second experience was awful! However, I got a call from the District Manager and the pharmacy manager and my experience completely changed! They were both AMAZING and made me feel very validated and appreciated. I'd give them 5 starts for sure but I have to go with 4 because of my inicial experience....listed below. Don't go to this CVS EVER . They had my prescription and wouldn't fill it because my doctor's office was closed. The pharmacist RoseMary (Not 100% on the name) said that even though I have gotten my prescription filled several times in the past with at a different CVS, she needs to call my doctor to verify. She also said it's at the pharmacist discretion... if I want to go somewhere else, I may be able to fill it... That comment, insinuates that she thinks I'm doing something wrong or inappropriate. Her primary concern was that my prescription was given to me by an urgent care and she need to call and verify that they prescribe that drug. So in other words she wants to make sure my Latino ass isn't lying. I get it. It's Glendale... I'm not white and I have tattoos. I asked her to call the CVS Pharmacy right next to the urgent care. I'm sure they have filled prescriptions for this medication there often. "I'm a pharmacist, why would I trust another pharmacist? It's my job" How about because you work for the same company and your customer of 7 years needs his prescription. I needed that prescription today and racist/elitist behavior is unacceptable. I live at walking distance from this CVS and thus frequent it often. Pluses: Pleasant personnel who usually try to be helpful Attractive spacious layout Easy one-level covered parking adjacent to the store Good reward program Minus: Today at about 2 pm I entered the store to if possible pick up some Command hooks. The only person I could see to ask was the man behind the front counter. I asked for "hooks" and the man said the store does not carry hooks. I repeated his answer to make sure there was no misunderstanding. It didn't take me long however to see a display with about a dozen kinds of Command hooks. After selecting my choice, on my checking out with the same clerk and confronting him with the inconsistency, he explained that he thought I meant metal hooks (!). Nothing resembling an apology. With mental health medication, you cannot miss a dose- ever! If someone says, please call my doctor and verify my needs- you better do that or be prepared for the storm you'll face if anything happens to the patient you refused to help! To the management of the pharmacy: The Pharm tech working the drive thru on Saturday, June 24 at 4:45 pm. Why did she question the needs to refill mental health medication? But first, here's the attendant's tone: irritated, cranky, couldn't be bothered to help: Told customer that she wasn't taking her medications right and that she made a mistake and has the meds she needs already, she should go and find it because it was too soon and she was wrong for asking for a refill -- the refill her doctor just prescribed bc they're working on the correct balance of meds. She argued with the customer saying even if she spoke to her doctor she couldn't do anything to help her anyway! Somehow the tech didn't see that her doctor had just prescribed it with different instructions. Instead of telling the customer upfront that she may have an insurance problem with the change and she could pay full price and work out the issue with insurance at a later time, she flat out refused to help insinuating that she was some sort of a junky! Then, and ONLY when she made the vision break down and hysterically cry did she say, "ohhh well I guess you will have to just pay out of pocket or maybe I can give you a discount, I guess". I happen to be on the phone with the customer and I was appalled' Oh the big cost was $15! Customer needs these meds to survive! She, the tech- who works for the people, needed to do her job and call the doctor- that's her job to get clarification and be helpful. CVS does hold overs for a few days jic- tech told her they don't do that! What?! Seriously, to talk down to people the way she did to a customer is insane and needs to be addressed now! It's already tremendous difficulty finding the right formulation of medication (under the supervision and care from a DOCTOR) Sadly, this tech has done this before and more than likely to many others as well. She isn't a psychiatrist or a doctor, just a pharmacy technician- even if she was a pharmacist (who I doubt would be this unprofessional) would have absolutely no right to override the advice or instructions given from a patient's doctor. read more

This is my "go to" CVS now because it's closer to my home, but the one on Broadway is an option too. I prefer the underground parking here and the smaller, cleaner store. I also find the staff there to be very friendly and helpful. Yesterday, Jesus helped me with my purchase and today Anasheh was terrific at helping me with my CVS card/purchase too. I always like to give feedback on great customer service, which is SO lacking since covid. I scheduled my vaccine today thinking vaccines were free. I booked my appointment wasnt told beforehand if I had insurance and that I would have to provide proof. My main problem was why did it have to be so complicated to get vaccinated when they said it was FREE??? The pharmacist wanted to get my insurance information in order to bill them!? Beech on your website said FREEEEE! For anyone out there wanting to get the shot. DO NOT TELL THEM YOU HAVE INSURANCE! This place is built into an apartment complex near my work. It's ok. It's new so you don't feel depressed walking inside like you do some CVS locations. I went a few times during the middle of the day and there was no one inside. Not much staff either for such a large store, but I guess it doesn't take that much man power to run a CVS. The pharmacy people were nice. They helped me find the OTC meds I needed. The clerk was kind of weird. I asked him for a roll of quarters, and he said they didn't have any. Bro, you don't have ANY roll of quarters? Why you gotta lie like that? Just say it's policy not to give away rolls of quarters because it's store policy to stuff them into socks and beat the shit out of shoplifters. Wouldn't that be something? Instead of calling Batman, CVS took matters into its own hands and mercilessly beat shoplifters with quarter-filled socks. That's probably illegal, though. You know, the whole vigilante thing. That's why the Gotham City Police Department is always trying to catch Batman. Not that they actually want to catch him. If they did, they'd just run the bat signal then drop a huge net on top of him when he showed up. And how come the bad guys don't use a fake bat signal to lure Batman to his demise? This review is specific to the Pharmacy at this location. I never thought I'd ever review a pharmacy, but the pharmacy at this CVS truly deserves to be recognized. I've lived in Glendale for 2.5 years, give or take. I've been coming here since I moved in across the street at The Brand. To say the pharmacists here go above and beyond is such an understatement that I don't even know how else to say it. I work full time at a very demanding job, and also am a full time caretaker for my Mom. With as many medications that my Mom needs (14) keeping track and organizing her medication schedules, doses, and refills has always been a major stress factor... Artak, Rosemary, and Aram have just been treasures in my life. The level of care, the level of professionalism, the effort they take over on my behalf to make everything as easy for me as humanly possible is beyond description. I've had moments where their kindness and desire to make sure my Mom is taken care of has brought tears to my eyes. Honestly, they're like family to me at this point. I'll never be able to thank the 3 of them enough. Even though my Mom is overseas visiting family, she asks me about them regularly because even while she's away, they care enough to ask about her and help me organize her refills and medicinal needs. And still, no matter what time of the day you go in to this cvs you have to wait in the line for 30-45 minutes line. The worst place to pick up prescriptions. I dread coming to this pharmacy. Usually there is a long line of customers waiting. Even if you are the first in line, you will be ignored for atleast 5 minutes before you are attended to. If the issue is being understaffed, then they need to hire more pharmacists/staff.
