I usually go to the CVS located near Glendale Memorial Hospital. I happened to be in the area, and I remembered that I needed to make a purchase, so I popped into this CVS. Plenty of free parking. Many things to buy at CVS whether it be makeup, candy, junk food, dog stuff, medicine, etc, etc, etc,... I'm a member, so I frequently get discount coupons which is always appreciated. The prices were generally comparable except maybe the actual grocery items which I've never bought, I couldn't speak about the pharmacy which I've never used, and the sale on the holiday candy was phenomenal! The many locked-up cases were sad to see, but that was more for a longer social commentary discussion. The one negative I had with them was their mile-long paper receipts loaded with a ton of coupons you probably wouldn't use! But, I felt their loyalty rewards program was pretty good because it seemed like I always qualified for a $5.00 cashback coupon. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $37.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). :-( It gets worse and worse each time. I ordered images online. Got the mail they were ready. They were not. It took her 20 minutes to find out they were, then found out that despite the system blasting out an email they were ready, the job was "on hold". She could not explain why. She printed the job. Out of whatever reason the system printed two jobs and mixed the images - she had to go through them by hand - and left finger prints on all of them. Then, on the check out, she showed each one to us again, leaving even more finger prints on them. The lady was sweet and tried here best, obviously not thinking that she would ruin the images by touching them all. On the end of the day, we get what we order: cheap prints, minimal service in an ambiance that should have been renovated decades ago. Whenever I see a chain like this, I think "this is why the dinosaurs went extinct" - they got to big and can not handle the business anymore. A shame really. I learned my lesson. After my nightmare with my mediation in 2019, I gave up trusting them. Now I learned: stay away. Right now I could not see any single reason why I ever wanted to return to any CVS. read more

Been going to that specific cvs because of the convenience of being so close to where I live. But when it comes about the attitude of the employees I would rather go somewhere else. My doctor suggested I should get my medications in their pharmacy but no thanks. They can see you being lost looking for something and they just don't bother to help you. And when you ask them about it they just answer "no we don't" and walk away. The only thing I like getting there the most are my printed pics, and that's just because I don't have to interact with any of them. I had a very disappointing experience with Robin at CVS Pharmacy, 1122 E Broadway, Glendale, CA 91205. Robin was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout our interaction. He repeatedly interrupted me, addressed me disrespectfully, refused to answer my questions, and told me to step away from the counter, making it clear that he would not help me. I felt unwelcome and humiliated by the way I was treated. Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, especially in a pharmacy where people come for important healthcare needs. My experience with Robin fell far below the level of professionalism I would expect from CVS. Went to the pharmacy to get some help about maybe returning a product that was prescribed incorrectly to my mom and I was thrown from person to person. On top of that, instead of letting us know what the next steps were the lady that helped my mom and I opened my bag and said she couldn't help us if the box was open (even tho I confirmed with my friend that was with us that 4/6 of the boxes was actually sealed and closed). Then when we tried to dispose of it in the medical waste box the guy was telling us to just use the product and it would be a waste of money if we didn't keep it, yet we started the conversation by saying this isn't something my mom has or will use. All we wanted to do was properly dispose/get rid of the medicine my mom wouldn't be using, but it turned into a conversation that made me feel like I was stupid. Poor customer service. read more

The workers here are usually talking to each other and not really doing their job. One of the workers last night her name is ARSINEH she seemed like she didn't wanna be there. While doing the checkout she flashed the laser of the device she had in her hand in my face on purpose and held it like that for 5 seconds. It really rubbed me the wrong way. If you can't do your job properly you shouldn't be working there. Then she proceeded to say "thank you" as if nothing really happened and that I didn't notice what she did. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Whenever I come here, the line is always long. Cashiers seem to move in slow motion. I'm leaving this review today because I came here to buy cough medicine, and the one I wanted was locked up which is fine. I asked staff in the pharmacy if they can open up the cabinet and they announced it on the speaker. After about 5 or so minutes, I asked again for help, and they announced it again on the speaker. More minutes passed, and the pharmacy staff was like "Oh they still haven't come?" Well clearly they haven't because I'm still standing here looking like an idiot. Giving this location a 1-star review is generous, given the fact that I have never been treated worse in my entire life. I stopped by to pick up my Accutane, completed my ipledge and everything else, and had some time before work and a busy weekend ahead. After being told to wait 30 minutes for my prescription, I grabbed some other things and returned to the pick-up area. Gave my information, and I am told that they are sold out. Irritated, I asked them to double-check since I just waited 30 minutes to receive it. She sends me to somebody else to speak to and says, "she's mad" on her way back. The new guy starts talking to me, and I ask how this could be, given the fact that my provider has sent in a prescription, so they should have it. After some back and forth, he mockingly says, "We're sold out". I understand that, but I am on a time crunch, and I'm tryna figure out how to avoid a similar issue in the future. Without a conclusive answer, I began asking why I was told to wait 30 minutes for my prescription if it's not here in the first place. He proceeds to say the only nice thing he's said this entire time, which was "that's our mistake, we thought we had it". After I told him I do not have time, I have work all weekend, and this is the only period I can pick up the medication, he told me I have to wait an hour and go to a different location to pick up my prescription. The cherry on top was that when I turned around to leave, the entirety of their staff burst out laughing at me as if I wasn't just 5 feet away. Mocking and laughing at a young girl is low. I should have read reviews before choosing to come to this CVS rather than using an online pharmacy and direct CVS competitor. A quick prescription pickup that should've been a 5 minute errand became a 45 minute saga that involved having to convince them my insurance was valid by pulling up my *competitor* profile, and waiting for the pharmacist to come back from a very very late lunch. Don't come here. They should fire every one who works at this pharmacy, shut down the pharmacy, and from the looks of the other reviews, shut down the whole store. Lunch hours are not 12:30-1. I looked up this store specifically to write a bad review and I'm not surprised at the fact that this CVS only has 2 stars. I had a very bad experience today at 8:23pm. The store manager/supervisor Leah was beyond rude. She had a very nasty attitude and was giving my family and I several ugly faces. When I was checking out, I sat my things down and only to realize the counter was wet and so was my hand and everything I had set down. I asked Leah if she could hand me a paper towel and she said " no we don't have any" which I know isn't true. As the manager it's her job to fix what's wrong but in this case she was too lazy to get me a towel. I don't know how someone with such terrible costumer service is a supervisor?! I recently went to this CVS Pharmacy to get my covid booster. Making an appointment was super easy -- I did it all on their website. You can search by locations near you and if you want a specific type of shot (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, etc.). I wanted Moderna which is what they administer here. They had PLENTY of appointments available as well, which was great. Parking is easy. It's in a plaza with a large parking lot although it is a bit run down and has some uneven pavement. This is definitely an older CVS location, although it is quite big. I was confused at first by the signage where they give the vaccines. If you are there to get vaccinated, wait in line at the pharmacy so they can check you in. One of the pharmacists actually administered my shot, so I had to wait for her to finish helping the customers who needed their prescriptions, etc., before she could give me the booster. They have chairs outside the small room where they issue the vaccines, so I sat there for 10-15 min before she was able to help me. When it was my turn, she called me into this small doctors-office-looking room, asked if I preferred which arm to get the jab in, and then gave me the vaccine. It was super quick. Then I waited and sat on one of the chairs again for 15 minutes to make sure I had no side effects before I could leave. Overall, nothing to rave about. I have been taking vaccines for a lot of years: some when i was completely unaware as in measles...baby vaxs in other words. Most of us have had them, some won't for good reasons (at least reasons they think are good reasons). But within my circle of family and friends we have gotten the message: seek out via computer and get your COVID vaccine! Fauci tells us, BIden tells us, the CDC tells us. And i am for the Vax except up until Wednesday this week there were no appointments available. But: i had heard about 2 weeks ago that the Vaccine would be available at CVS soon. So every day, 5 times a day I stalked the CVS website. And every day i got the same message: COVID vaccines are not available in California the screen screamed out! Then 2 days ago...the screen warmly, slightly sexily, definitely sensually gave this back to me: YOU can now schedule your appointment. So i did and today i was among the very first at this CVS on East Broadway to receive the coveted shot in the arm. This is a very big store: one that was converted from something else....a lot of acreage to cover with employees and products. This store is also in a working class area of Glendale as opposed to the store on Central in downtown which is smaller, newer and caters to a younger crowd who live in the new apartments close by. The product selection covers a lot of items from prescription drugs to a full section of greeting cards by way of laundry detergent. Today all of the people involved in this in-store vaccination (as opposed to drive thru) were kind, helpful, personable. The whole process was very organized particularly since this was day one of this process in this store. I had no issues with the shot giver or with the shot itself...at least so far some also 3 hours after the fact. After the vax is administered i was directed to sit for 15 minutes so a nurse could monitor my reaction to the injection. I had none so i was out of there in about 20 minutes. Who would have thought that a year ago many of us would be so frantic to get vaccinated? Who would have thought that we would be smack dab in the middle of a terrible PANDEMIC? Pandemic. Such an old fashioned yet horror-filled, scary word. Ok, the Pandemic of Spanish Flu of the early 20th century...yes. But that was 1918, Woodrow Wilson was President. But an out of control (though seemingly getting less scary daily) Worldwide Health scourge now, in 2021? It just doesn't seem real. Worst CVS I have been to. Here is why: 1) there is always a line, even when it's not very busy. Staff seems to take their time. There are no self check outs either. 2) the pharmacy is so inefficient. I get the same medication, every month for months now. It is never in stock when I get there and when I do go to pick it up, they have only filled a part of it. I was stressed out trying to get photos printed at 10PM at night on a Friday and there were like six employees who couldn't help me at the Central Ave CVS. They were dismissive and clearly didn't wanna help me print my photos. I ran to the Broadway CVS and this young man solved the issue I was having literally in five minutes. This stir has to have one of the worst bug retail pharmacy hours I have seen. Not only do they advertise their hours here as 10am--6pm on the weekends, they are not actually operating at those times. I came in on a Saturday only to find them closed at 5:15pm. Then I come back in a Sunday at 10:45 am only to find them... you guessed it- closed! They open at 11am. Absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. Minimally, check your advertised times so you don't have customers wasting their time. read more

My doctor said she electronically refilled my prescription for pain medication two days ago. This pharmacy normally calls and leaves me a message when prescriptions are ready. When I didn't get a call I phoned and got the recording indicating the doctor had not yet refilled it. I email the doctor who informs me she did in fact electronically refill it. I call the pharmacy and finally speak to someone who tells me oh yes, we got it but we're out of that medication. Seriously? Check back with us tomorrow after 2pm "we should have it by then." Ok do now I'm stuck in bad pain for 24 hours, too late to change pharmacies but I can't wait to do that on my next prescription. This is inexcusable. read more
