I received a voice message notifying me that my auto refill is ready to be picked up. I work nearby, so I try to go on my lunch break. I've been five times so far and they are either A) Closed for lunch -or- B) Have a 20+ minute line My lunch is only 30 minutes, so with travel time, I can't get my prescription. I'll bet they deemed me a no-show and restocked my prescription by now. Now, I'll have to make the planets align twice so I can get them to fill my prescription again, and then I'll need to come back to pick it up. The pharmacy is just pathetic. Last week I had to go there three times to get some antibiotics for my husband and it took the whole morning. They said they had some 'technology' problem but the fact is there is usually a very long line, a very slow clerk and general incompetence all around. The rest of the store is a mess and I'm still afraid it'll close and then Jackson will have NO drugstore. Most of the people I know have gone elsewhere already. This is a message for the rude pharmacist who refused to refill my prescription for my dog on 11/29 and acted like I was trying to do something nefarious rather than help me get the correct prescription ... This is a class war and we are both workers in this fight and I am not your enemy -- I am your ally. I know they keep reducing your pay while increasing your hours, I know that customers are stressed out and unpleasant, but taking it out on me is not going to help you. The vet had written the wrong prescription, which another pharmacist kindly informed me of, and eventually I got what I needed for my senior dog with a tracheal collapse emergency. I know people probably make a lot of assumptions about you based on your appearance and behavior and it doesn't help you or anyone else to do the same to me. Your anger was profoundly misdirected -- I am not the one stealing your hard labor, I'm a fellow worker trying to survive this capitalist hellscape too. Worst CVS pharmacy I have ever experienced. Me & my wife experienced Bias in the store yesterday by the staff and pharmacist. They were very rude to us and argumentative. The pharmacist would not use a coupon my wife had for a prescription for self pay. He said because we had insurance. Our insurance plan does not cover the drug. So the coupon reduced the price to make it affordable and he refused to put it in. Even after a female staff worker had told me to look for a manufacturer coupon. They do not know what they are doing up there and they definitely need customer service training. This is one of numerous bad experiences since this new pharmacist has been at the Jackson location. We will not be back. CVS has lost a loyal customer. We have made a request for our prescriptions to be transferred to another local pharmacy. read more

I'd give you zero stars if I could. I've had more than one issue here. First one I went for medicine that a ER doctor prescribed. A had a scratched cornea. They first tried to charge me full price for the medicine when my insurance was on file. They claimed it was not but the week prior I had picked up a skin cream with insurance there. After waiting for them to fix the insurance issue I finally received my antibiotics. $211 for one they gave me and it was ear drops! My eye is scratched ffs. So now I'm concerned with my eye and not having the proper medication. They blamed the ER doctor and told me to contact them. Well I've never had a pharmacy not contact my doctors on my behalf. Lazy is what comes to my mind. Now a week and a day go by that my doctors called in my prescription. I've waited patiently for the call and or txt that tells me it's ready. Never came, so I decided to call them. I'm completely out of My medication and they tell me we are not taking new patients for narcotics. So a courtesy call would have been nice but again LAZY and RUDE You are a terrible pharmacy and you ladies should be ashamed of yourself. read more

Booked an appointment for Covid and RSV vaccinations a week in advance. When I showed up I was told the Covid vaccination supply did not come in and their agreement with Kaiser was no longer, so they denied my RSV vaccination as well. They sent no text, email or phone message prior to my appointment to advise me of the situation. So file my unsatisfactory review along with others. I won't be setting foot in this place ever again and they can't shutter this place fast enough as far as I'm concerned. read more

I get a text telling me when to pick up my meds. I'm a pain control customer. So, I get a text with the date to pick up. On the day before my pick up date, I call the oharmacy to confirm. It's then confirmed. So I plan my day accordingly. Go into the pharmacy to pick up my meds. The pharmacist says no... not until tomorrow regardless of what I was told and the text I received. Does anyone put notes in the computer? I guess not. The can puck and choose who they will fill that day. It doesnt matter who said what or what text you have received. My time was waisted but cvs doesnt care about my time. Did I get profiled because of being a pain patient? Just tell me the correct date. Then no problems. I'm not asking f I r them early but you can bet I was flagged for it. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Cvs and pharmacist seem like they have this God complex. Just do the right thing and stop profiling people. You dont care! Can't change pharmacies cuz then your flagged for shopping pharmacies. Worst place ever and the worst part is I cant change it. Worst ever! Hoax about getting the wrong Rx? How about they charged me 300.00 and I can never get that back because they won't take back the Rx or refund my money. They put the bottle of pills in the bag and staple it shut. I paid for it thinking I was getting what I desperately needed. We even had some employee laugh at us and tell us they didn't even carry the drug I needed, (a common RX) he thought it was real f*ing funny I guess. Some customer service right? What a struggle and I certainly DO NOT trust them. I always make them show me the bottles BEFORE they staple the bag shut. If it is already stapled, I tear it open and check. They have lots of staples, I don't care if they don't like it, I always ask nicely for them to not do that. I've never been rude to them. I write as many nice reviews as I can for folks, but not this time. I am holding back on the long list of neg I could go on. Sad times. read more

This would be a ZERO if that rating was available. I am a health care provider. My husband's prescription was on auto-refill. He ran out 2 days ago, which was 2 days AFTER it should have been refilled. I called our CVS one day after he ran out. This was a Monday. They are not open on the weekend, which I understand. When I finally got through, the person told me they tried to refill it on the previous Friday but got behind. I asked that they refill it on Monday so that it would be ready at a specific time. Hubby had already missed his morning dose. No. He would have to come it to get it and wait for it to be filled. I told her this was NOT acceptable. She told me that this was because they had over 300 prescriptions to fill. I told her he was OUT of the medication. I am also a health care provider and I know this is NOT acceptable. He went in on Tuesday. They gave him enough for 14 days. They also stated that there was a supply problem. I called them. Asked when the rest of his prescription would be available. It was an actual pharmacist I spoke with. She said tomorrow. I asked her if she realized her license was at stake over a situation like this. She acknowledged that she knew it was. She said there was a shortage of this particular medication. I stated that CVS needed to let patients know of this type of situation. She acknowledged that. None of this is acceptable. read more

If I could give negative stars this way I would. The customer service at the pharmacy is horrible. The cashier female young told my husband that the prescription can't be filled because it is stamped. When asked to speak with a pharmacist she refused to allow that. My husband just got dental work that he is in a lot of pain. My recommendation is to go to Raleys or Safeway because they will at least let you talk to a pharmacist if needed. Go as far away as possible from Cvs in Jackson! They were so rude to a person clearly in pain. read more

7/6/19 CVS Jackson, CA....have repeatedly told them NOT to renew my prescriptions. I have spoken to the tech's, the Pharmacist's, and have contacted Caremark......yet they continue to reorder my prescriptions. This happens at EVERY CVS. By them doing this - it mounts up to fraud because they have NOT been authorized. 9/25/17 was in CVS at 11:35am. Waited almost 15 minutes just to be told that the Pharmacist WOULD NOT do a flu shot because he had to go to lunch. No sign up saying no flu shots between such and such time. They wanted to take my name and have me come back. I said No, I am on my lunch hour. Why is it no matter where you go to a CVS pharmacy that they don't have enough help and why offer shots if they can't give them. read more

This a good pharmacy and usually always has what you need. The staff in the pharmacy are very friendly and work really hard to fill your prescriptions the only issue here is the line to pickup you prescriptions right around noon they just don't seem to have the staff to move you along very fast, But other times of the day they seem to move you pretty quickly. As for the store section I'm finding the same issue around noon only one register going and a slow moving line although I have seen some Improvements within the last month as they have been opening one more register but Your still standing in line way to long. I would give my pharmacy review no stars if possible. The staff is very rude and ineffective. I spent all afternoon trying to get a refill even though they had all information. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait so I sat down to wait. After 15 minutes I overheard one of the staff tell a customer that the pharmacist had left and wouldn't be back for over an hour. I waited for nearly two hours and still not filled. I went home, 30 miles, and an hour later received a call that me items had been filled. Needless to say, I will never return to this pharmacy. read more

Their pharmacy is absolutely the worst... After having several issues and voicing my concerns, they told me to take my business elsewhere... So, I did what they asked and they absolutely will not transfer my prescriptions to my new pharmacy... I made several requests and so did my new pharmacy... Great place to shop, but the customer service was awful. If there was an option to put negative stars, I definitely would have. What made the customer service so bad was an employee named, "Aaron" a jerk who doesn't care about anybody but himself. Doesn't want to do his job and is horrible at it. This is the absolute worst pharmacy ever! The staff are extremely rude, lazy and the prices are insanely high. Their cost of one of my medications is over 40.00 more than another pharmacy in Amador co. The managers at this particular CVS need to retrain their staff or hire some new employees that understand the meaning of customer service! I've been to other CVS pharmacies in other cities and they were great, the problem lies in this particular store!!!! read more
