I come here after work from time to time, but today when I came, they followed me around the store like I was a common thief. I had a backpack with me because I do not pay for bags, but I NEVER get followed around at the Westchester CVS like I did today. I am disgusted because It was so obvious that when I got in line to pay, the lady behind me said she noticed too. My cashier was great, but as a professional in corporate America, there is NO WAY I fit the profile of a thief. Must have been my skin. Sickening. read more

This CVS has really gone downhill. The pharmacy is regularly out of our medicine--I have transferred three prescriptions after CVS told me the medications were in short supply or discontinued but I found them in other places. Their website misleads you into believing they have ordered your prescription for you, but it never comes. The store itself has locked up nearly everything, requiring a salesperson to unlock items so you can buy them. I am sure these changes are due to thefts--but why not get some security and stop staying open 24 hours instead of emptying all the shelves? read more

If there was an option for negative stars for the pharmacy that's what I would give. They're not only rude but they are actually useless. I've had not one but numerous instances where they were incompetent. I had a refill left on a prescription and they denied that I had it, I went to a different pharmacy and they filled it no problem. Another prescription for me was called in by my provider and the pharmacy denied they had it. I called my provider multiple times to confirm exact location and that it was sent and the pharmacy denied they had it, I went in person and they told me to wait at the consultation window, I stood there IGNORED for AN HOUR waiting and thinking I was being helped by the pharmacist, only to be told finally that the doctor must have done something wrong, I must have done something wrong, just obscene. read more

Come in an hour early for my 2nd booster. They wouldn't let me check in early because 'there's a long line of people waiting' I've been sitting here for an hour, and 2 people have received a shot. Liars, they're just lying to customers. read more

TERRIBLE!!! The pharmacy is taking online appointments for flu shots but there are 3 people waiting over 20 mins and no one is administering shots! Don't take the appointments if there's no nurse to give shots. My mom is 84. She is too old for this. Going to Walgreens from now on. read more

Bottom line: if you need to call your pharmacy with any regularity, choose a different one. Like most CVS pharmacies, this place is fairly slow. I'm used to that. What I'm not used to is a CVS being so unbelievably bad about just answering their phone. It's very routine with this store to wait a long time (10 or more minutes) before anyone picks up, only to be asked to be put back on hold. I've been in the store many times. It is NOT that busy, which leads me to believe they just don't prioritize answering the phone. It's extremely frustrating and would take me less time, literally, to drive all there, wait in line, and talk to someone than to call them. I feel bad for patients that have truly pressing needs and aren't able to travel as conveniently as I am, so I write this review as a warning: if you need to call your pharmacy with any regularity, choose a different one. read more

I've never written a one star review before, but this was that bad. The Pharmacy is good and efficient, but the rest of the store is a wreck. Everything is behind a locked wall, and NO ONE comes to open them no matter how many times you hit the button. On two separate occasions I've rung them three or four times and I'm sitting there with no one around. I have to go find someone to help me and wait 15 minutes for something I should be able to pickup quickly. You cannot lock everything behind a plastic wall then have no one walking around to open them up, it's a horrible business practice. read more

They reduced their staff AND hours at the pharmacy, which is a NIGHTMARE. If you call to inquire about something you need to clarify in the app or to ensure your prescription is being processed, be ready to be on hold for AT LEAST 90+ minutes, IF you do not get disconnected and have to call again and wait another 90+ minutes. If you go in person, be ready to stand in line for at least 30 minutes, then be told they actually only have some of your prescriptions ready, that others will "take another 20 minutes" even though they were called the day before... then you come back to be told the medicine is actually out of stock! TERRIBLE customer service and I blame management, the few staffers are overwhelmed, overworked, and dealing with far too many requests. Cutting down on staff and hours has repercussions and we the patients pay the price. read more

Well, since this is Lucy Y.'s favorite CVS, of course I had to try it! I had just had a golf lesson at Westchester Driving Range, and I needed some bottled water and a diet coke. I see what Lucy means -- this is a very well stocked store, I like it much better than the one farther down on Sepulveda. The aisles are clearly marked, and there is a line for the cashier, so that the next person in line gets whichever cashier is ready. Got me some drinkin' water, a diet coke and skedadled out of there. read more

Unfortunately the pharmacy staff have consistently lied, indicating prescriptions were filled when they were not. They have even said that it was too early to fill prescriptions when I was in fact even later. When I submit a prescription, I need to call to ensure they are filling it and even then they often aren't even aware it needs to be filled when I come to pick it up. Try a different location. read more

Management and all CVS employees at this store and a few other CVS stores nearby lie about their system not being able to process returns after 10pm. There's a CVS not too far on the Westside close by that just processed my return, w/o an issue, and it's 10:34PM. I asked the cashier at that CVS what was the latest their location can process a return she said anytime if the item was paid with a debit card, there should be no problem, if the return was paid with cash and they don't have enough cash in the register at the time, then that would be an issue that can be resolved if enough customers pay with cash throughout the late shift, then they can process cash returns, she said debit card returns should always be processed without issues. I asked her if she was a new employee, she said she's been working there for 3 years. read more

Bravo to the RUDE "gentleman" store floor employee who had passive aggressive remarks during my visit today 4/8/24 about 5:15pm. (Let me note: This has nothing to do with the pharmacy). Don't work in the customer service industry if you can't contain your aggressive, rude demeanor. Let me add, he then proceeds to follow me to the cashier (within inches) perhaps monitoring if I mentioned his behavior to another employee? Highly doubt I'm the 1st nor last with a complaint about him. I rather rush my transaction and get out of that energy. Didn't catch his name, however, this unprofessional employee was an African-American (lighter complexion), head-to-toe tattoos with a bald-head. Hope his behavior is recognized by higher ups & hope he isn't in a managerial position.. if so, that title needs to DESPERATELY need to be reevaluated. Tragic for my local CVS. DO BETTER CVS. The music is too loud ... people in the pharmacy can't hear on the phone and clients specially the elderly have a hard time hearing the Assistent and vice versa ... if is not hard enough to communicate With mask on. I requested the manager to please consider lowering the volume she gave me a none sense excuse than processed to say yes I will. I came back one hour later and had the music was till loud. Make sure you check in if you have a vaccine appointment. There's no signs that say you have to check in. Just a huge line of people waiting that you assume you have to join. I waited for 30 minutes before going to check in after a bunch of other people waiting realized the same thing, and then I waited for another 30 minutes. Maybe put out a sign or do the absolute bare minimum for your customers. read more

I went in the middle of the night on a weekday, but overall my feedback is it's alright, when nothing else is open. This place has potential. It's big and Carrie's brands of cosmetic and toiletries supplies that are good and fun and interesting healthy snacks like dried mushrooms! Staff was not particularly friendly, the door guard was scary, and the flood lighting in this place is harsh. It also doesn't feel clean which is off-putting and a bit uncomfortable. And shelves aren't fully stocked, leaving empty spaces and single item inventory. Meh. read more

Large, clean and friendly staff, helpful and professional pharmacists...So far I've had no issues with this place though I've been coming here since the opening years ago. If I could give no stars I would. This morning coming into your store on 10/06/23 at 6:40am there is two workers up front and a male customer. I asked your associate Kimberly for help unlocking a cosmetic item and I was hit with "you're going to have to wait" as she proceeded to scan toothpaste into a coupon scanner. Being crunched for time I go to the associate behind the counter to get help and Kimberly yells at me saying "I have the freaking keys" to which I asked her name, I pointed to the item I wanted and she laughed and rolled her eyes at me. She then helped me check out but wouldn't give me a receipt and walked away mid transaction. If this is the type of employee(s) you have at the store, then I suggest various team building exercises that help with communication to customers. Because isn't it her responsibility to help a customer when asked? Ugh. Never coming back here. read more

All sorts of bad. I've been trying to get a TDAP shot for the last two weeks from here, I've shown up a total of four times and I always get the run around. First two times I was straight up told no but they will be getting some soon (which I decided to wait due to this location being on my way from work), third time a pharmacist took down my information and set up an appointment for three days later when they were going to receive the vaccine and stated she would call me. The day came and nothing, I tried calling a few times this week but they never seem to answer the phones. I walked into CVS for the fourth time and was made to wait for over 20 mins. The fact that the head pharmacists observed that there were people waiting and decided not to even acknowledge any of the people present made the wait time less tolerable. Once it was my time to be helped she seemed upset that I inquired about the TDAP vaccine and uttered under her breath "it may not be a good time right now." And just like that for the fourth time I was turned down. I've been refilling my prescriptions at this location for years and never had an issue with them until recently. Honestly, avoid this pharmacy, extra long wait times, they never answer the phone, they don't seem care as they claim they do and don't even acknowledge you. read more

Quite possibly the worst customer service in Los Angeles. The pharmacy is understaffed and the remaining are rude and disinterested. Everything is locked up and good luck getting help. Why? * I never have a hard time parking in the lot * They are open 24/7 * Everyone is always friendly here - I can even call and ask if they have something, and they will check for me * It's a big location, so I find things here that aren't at other locations * My prescriptions are always ready on time * I never have to wait in line longer than 5-ish minutes * I use my Green Bag Tag and get Extra Bucks! * They email me coupons to use pretty often, and occasionally surveys that pay you in Extra Bucks * I can pop in to Vons next door for groceries or a coffee at Starbucks Even though other CVS locations are closer, I still drive the extra mile or so to this one instead! read more

I came to this pharmacy a few weeks ago to have a MMR booster shot immunization. The pharmacist, Brian, was impeccable at administering the injection. At most, it felt like a mosquito bite, if that. I called on the phone today to see if the updated August 2019 flu shot was available and the female pharmacist on the phone said it was. She asked me to hold for a few moments, took my name and date of birth, processed my insurance while I was on the phone with her, and said it would be ready for me when I arrived there. Talk about customer service!! I am very impressed with this pharmacy. read more

I went to CVS on National and Sepulveda in Palms, CA yesterday to pick up a prescription. As I was paying there was a question on the screen about receiving texts and maying marketing contacts through my phone number. I was disappointed in the fact that it was basically an automatic opt in and you Pretty much have to jump through hoops to opt out. I clicked the button that said print info to opt out and along with my receipt printed a little paper with the contact info for the opt out. I saw the cashier quickly put it to the side (as if she was not going to give it to me), complete my transaction, and just as she was going to go to the next customer, I asked about the opt out. She casually put it in my bag but I don't believe she was ever going to give it to me which I find very dishonest on top of the annoyance of having to call a number to get off the automated call list. You need to have the opt out on the screen at the time of purchase and someone needs to train the pharmacist to be honest and give customers the opt out information if they have requested it. I'm sure if someone were to go through the trash they have behind the counter, you'd find tons of those papers meant for customers. read more

I usually do not come to this particular location, but it was on my way to run other errands, so I was very impressed with how everything was well organized, displayed and marked. It was easy to find the things I needed. The staff was friendly with a smile too! I did not buy anything from the pharmacy, so I can't review that section, but the store itself was clean, spacious, and well stocked. I found everything I needed on my list! Sheri helped me find things I needed and later she was my cashier. She truly is someone who takes pride in her job. The staff was very friendly and even knew this CVS was not my regular one. This made me believe the staff really knows their customers! BRAVO! Service with a smile! I was told to come back again soon! Big parking lot in front which is shared by VONS. read more

This is actually a pretty nice CVS. Really big inside and clean. You wouldn't know from looking at from the parking lot (which by the way is quick amble), because it looks rather dumpy, but the inside is nice. Added bonus is that it's open 24 hours, which seems to be hard to come by in the LA area. Maybe I was spoiled living in the Greater WashDC area for so long. Best part of this store, is that where everyone is supposed to stand while waiting in line is clearly marked so when it's busy it's not just a bunch of sheep milling around. read more

Awful customer service here. I ordered a photo/poster print Monday night 7/18/22. It said it should be available Tuesday at 1:00am. The email said I would receive confirmation when complete but today is Wednesday 7/19/22 and I still haven't heard from them. So I decided to call. I got thru to someone and they "went to check" then they never came back to the phone and it seemingly automatically disconnected, perhaps I was on hold for that (or too) long. So I call back multiple times right after and hours later and I can't even get through to anybody. So I decide to drive down to the store and ask what's up and the guy tells me the are out of photo paper. So I'm like can you guys transfer my order to a store that has paper. Shocker: they can't. So then I ask can you call and see if a store has the paper, they won't. Then the worker I'm speaking to asks a coworker... they say by next TUESDAY they should have paper back in. Over a week from when I initially ordered. Long story short for same day photo/prints, clearly they don't exist. If only they could send out an email update as to them being out of paper vs not being able to contact and not getting in touch with people and alerting them of their supply chain issues.
