Zero if I could. This pharmacist wants to be a doctor... like so many pharmacists today. The bottom line? Doctors prescribe for a reason. This pharmacist wants to, ERIN, is cruel and evil- she wants people to be in horrific pain. After a surgery I was given an extra pain med and she butted in saying she thought it was "too much" pain medication. Well, she can shut her big mouth, the surgery failed and I'm in a wheelchair now. Pain is telling your body something is wrong. Stop practicing medicine and playing doctor. Company reviews are often skewed, especially when there are so many different tactics owners use to get more favorable reviews, even when they don't deserve them. I noticed how some negative reviews were on this company but now I don't see them anymore. People are also afraid to "rock the boat" so chances are truthful reviews do not make it up online. I get it, most people don't want to face the truth about themselves and how cruelly they treat other people. They would rather continue to live the big lie and project onto others, in this case, the consumers they discriminate against. They would rather victim blame others and hide behind bureaucracy at the expense of others course. God forbid any one of us should inconvenience their schedules and their lifestyles! At the end of the day, all I want to accomplish with my pharmacy it's to receive my prescription medications without having to contact the pharmacy 20 different times for each RX. But apparently I cannot achieve this with Westchester pharmacy. My prescription drug plan had informed me of some very shady behaviors from Westchester pharmacy, as one example of many- reverse claiming all prescription drugs that my doctors had all sent over when I was due for refills. Plus, every medication requested I had been taking prescribed for years and were off label for my physical illness. To add insult to injury, at a later date, I also discovered through my insurance carriers this pharmacy had actually badmouthed me to my doctors' offices! To get my prescription drugs refilled, meaning having to ask 10-20 times for each rx. I have to draw the line with their abuse SOMEWHERE. Attorneys also verified how unacceptable and discriminatory their behavior and treatment tactics were toward me. And by the looks of it, I see a similar trend with the other consumes who had the courage to write truthful negative reviews about them. I just want my prescription medications for crying out loud! Bottom line: I am not comfortable with a pharmacy like Westchester pharmacy whose owners give discriminating treatment to their consumers and refuse to protect your private personal and health information. They refuse to even fulfill their basic duties. By the looks of other reviewers, I can tell one of their behavioral patterns is to also refuse to call Doctors offices for new rx's, etc. Mind you, this is called negligence and a slothful attitude. I have realized now that, confirmed by Medicare, part D prescription drug companies and the office of Civil Rights, they commit illegal and unethical acts as well, and I don't have the energy and time to deal with corrupt and selfish health care employees this way. Thankfully, there are still other much better pharmacies in the area that don't give out discriminatory treatment/ behavior to their customers. The public has every right to know the truth about groups like Westchester pharmacy! There will come a time when even the most clever/manipulative and narcissistic professionals will have to answer for each and every single time they have abused their power at the expense of the public. Search and try plaza West Pharmacy, St. Antony pharmacy (compound pharmacy), playa pharmacy, marina pharmacy, and quite a few others who give much better treatment all around to all consumers. Wow, some CVSs give better service and treatment than this group does! I have visited this pharmacy on several occasions. The positive side of my experience is the fact that they usually always have your prescription ready expeditiously, and have the prescriptions in stock. With that said the down side is the unfriendly, and aloofness of the staff. They rarely smile, and they have never asked me if I needed a consultation when I received a brand new prescription. This is unprofessional, and can lead to unsafe complications. I would like to recommend that you train your staff on customer service. read more

I thought I would support a smaller local pharmacy. I thought wrong/ they price gauge medications that have generics for $8 they asked me to pay them $25. Ridiculous. For people who care about our finances and know every dollar counts, this pharmacy is wanting to rip me off. I'm not overpaying for a simple prescription. This is a neighborhood pharmacy located right near Sepulveda and Westchester Parkway. The service is top notch and they except all forms of insurance. They are not open on the weekends. If you have an emergency you will have to go to a big box store. But for regular prescriptions they are excellent and I highly recommend them. They also have other things in the store. They carry bandages, over the counter medications, and various health aides. read more

My Great-Aunt and Great-Uncle have been going to Westchester Pharmacy for years, maybe decades now, and they would never go anywhere else. The pharmacy has been serving the locals for forever and has a loyal, albeit older, clientele. Recently, I took the Greats to pickup their usual prescriptions and grab some cold meds for a flu bug that wouldn't go away. Talking to the pharmacist (I forget her name, but I think she's the owner), I was recommended a few quick fixes for minor things that had been bothering the Greats. (Sadly, I am getting old, and my grouchy body is failing me, too.) There's something special about a pharmacist who will take the time to come out and chat with us - literally, she stepped out from behind the high and mighty counter and walked around the store with us, grabbing little things here and there. Chatting for a good thirty minutes, I could tell that she genuinely cared for everyone's well-being and wasn't just trying to sell anything to make a few bucks. The pharmacy itself is small and specializes in just drugs and other medical needs - all at very reasonable prices. Thankfully, unlike the heartless big box pharmacies, you won't have to wade through aisles and aisles of junk food and useless toys just to find what you need. That's especially appreciated when you're sick and tired and grouchy, and all you want is your goshdarn medicine and a warm smile, friendly smile. read more

My husband and I decided to try Westchester Pharmacy after deciding to shift away from CVS. What a great decision! The two times we obtained prescriptions from this pharmacy, the prescriptions were filled quickly and the pharmacists and other staff members were friendly and kind. No long lines, not treated like a number by a surly pharmacy technician, no waiting until the next day for a prescription. Westchester Pharmacy is a gem. During COVID there was a shortage of both albuterol and Plaquenil - two medications that I really need!! I moved all my aunt's medications to Westchester Pharmacy a couple of years ago, but we recently ran into a glitch with her insurance. They were on the phone with me quickly to let me know of the issue and priced her medications very competitively when I told them we had to pay cash while I worked out the insurance issue. I highly recommend this wonderful pharmacy! Vilai and Cindy truly care about their customers, and give the business that rare, small-town feel. When my older daughter had a chronic problem with migraines, Vilai went out of her way to give me information that might be helpful for her. My younger daughter is in a drama group in El Segundo, and Vilai has come to see every one of her shows. She and Cindy take such a personal interest in the community, and they're wonderful on the business end of things, too, always taking plenty of time to explain possible side-effects of prescriptions. UNBELIEVABLE Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!!! It's difficult to believe I was able to accomplish the impossible, but with Erin's help it was easy. On an overseas trip to Fiji with a connection in LA, our daughter forgot her medicine at home. I called Westchester Pharmacy and Erin answered. I was trying to find someone who could fill a prescription and deliver it to LAX before the departing flight. Erin said she didn't know anyone who could deliver it but she would be willing to deliver it herself if we could meet after she was off work. Erin went so far above and beyond, she delivered it to LAX herself! She pulled up and delivered it directly to us at the curb of the International Terminal. Erin was so kind and thoughtful and helpful it's unbelievable. After this was all arranged, I got on Yelp and realized this isn't an anomaly, it's the way Westchester does business. Just made Westchester Pharmacy my go-to because they have excellent customer service. I only stopped in there on my very first visit and the pharmacist came out to welcome me and ask about my needs. Since then, they have been refilling and delivering my prescriptions to me on a schedule. They call in advance to let me know they're refilling rather than me having to call them to refill like my previous pharmacy. It's so easy! Best Service EVER! My husband and I moved our prescriptions to Westchester Pharmacy several months ago and couldn't be happier. The service we have received is amazing! Wish I could give zero stars. I was referred here by a friend who fills the same medication because I was having difficulty finding anybody who carried the medication. My prescription is for acute post operative pain and he is regularly prescribed the medication for chronic pain. That being said, the first person who I spoke to told me that "they don't carry that medication" and when I told her, "really? Because my neighbor comes here every month for that medication" she proceeded to ask me "who is your friend?" Then the owner came out and told me it's not that they don't carry the medication, they just don't have any. When I asked when they'd be getting the medication in she said "I don't know it's up to the manufacturer." Lies upon lies upon lies. When I told my neighbor what happened he told me that he'd never experienced that and that they always have his medication the same day, if not then the next day. Oh, did I mention he fills 4x the amount that was prescribed to me? Funny. read more
