Worst pharmacy I have ever been my mother had surgery and had to pick up her pain meds, the people here don't care if your in major pain , always give an excuse, how are you open if you are locked out of your medication locker.... I've never had an issue with this pharmacy before, but today's experience was unacceptable. I came in with a prescription from my dentist after a painful procedure and had received a text saying my medication would be ready within two hours. Upon arrival, I was told there was an insurance issue. Even when I offered to pay out of pocket, I was refused service because the manager wasn't there, and the staff member stated she "doesn't really work there." I was told to come back in a few days for my medication--but I was in pain and needed it immediately. I repeatedly explained that I was in pain and needed assistance. The employee initially refused to call my insurance, saying they wouldn't pick up their call, and only after I insisted multiple times did she make the call--at which point the issue was resolved immediately, and my medication was approved. As a patient fresh out of a three-hour dental procedure, I should not have had to spend 40 minutes pleading for someone to do their job simply because the manager wasn't present. It's unacceptable that a patient in pain must beg for help or know a manager's schedule in order to get a prescription filled at this location. read more

This pharmacy is not have very customer friendly pharmacists.. I am currently suffering with Covid and CVS was all out of paxlovid. The transfer of the medication was difficult with both pharmacies.. Ralphs pharmacist 1) never personally called to tell me my prescription was ready 2) inform me about a coupon option to reduce cost, 3) turns a sick woman away from picking up her prescription because I came at their lunch time. Either staff your pharmacy appropriately or inform by telephone times that I can pick up the prescription. read more

This is the most surprising experience I've had in a while. I didn't even know Ralph's had a pharmacy, but it does, and they were great. So friendly and attentive. They actually answer the phone. But here's the amazing thing. I went to pick up a generic medication I've been taking for years. I just switched insurance companies, and all of a sudden the price when from $15 for a one month supply to $50! I called my insurance and they basically blew me off. So I checked out a website called GoodRx.com to see if I could find the medication cheaper outside of my insurance. Sure enough, they had a promotional price of $8, at Ralph's pharmacy. Same exact drug. Hugely different price. I don't understand why, but this drug varies in price wildly depending on which pharmacy to go to. CVS price was exorbitant. Ralph's pharmacy was cheap. But the Good Rx program saved me $120 on a 3-month supply! read more

I was initially very happy to find that Ralphs Pharmacy on Admiralty in Marina del Rey seemed like a great option for me, so I transferred from a busier location. I have gone there for my vaccines and prescriptions. The clerk who is generally rude and uncaring I have ignored because overall my needs were met. He seems miserable in his position yet wears this mask with a smile. Very strange. Anyway my problem occurred on September 23rd when I went to pick up my refill of Restasis (drops for dry eyes). I called in for this refill I believe on Sept 16th or 17th. I was unable to talk with a person so used their automated method. I was told I could pick it up around 12:00 on the 21st I believe. I later received a text indicating it would be ready after 5:00PM on the 21st. My prescription was expiring after the 21st and that is why I called early enough to avoid its expiring. I went over there on that Thursday the 23rd and the rude clerk told me there was no such prescription. I advised I received texts indicating when my prescription would be ready for pickup. He told me they do not send texts like that suggesting I was lying. I walked out as I was upset. I looked through my past text messages and found the last text from Ralphs and walked back into the pharmacy. The pharmacist who had ignored the problem when I was in there 5 minutes prior, walked over to me and said it isn't your fault, it isn't our fault, but your prescription expires after the 21st. This was the 21st, I called in my prescription in sufficient time. It shouldn't have expired until the next day. Regardless not only did I not receive my prescription, no one cared enough to even call and tell me there was a supposed problem before I drove there for nothing. If there was a problem (and I don't see how there was) they could have asked me to get a new prescription. This shows inefficiency and a total lack of concern for the customer. The pharmacy didn't even tell me she would look into it further and resolve it. So I wasted my time. If this is not resolved at this location I shall go to another location or escalate the issue to Corporate.. read more

Do not expect them to ever answer the phone or to go forward with your refill if you leave a message. There literally no one here when I came. Both employees doing nothing. Yet, after 2 hours of having left the message they have not lifted a finger to do it. Seriously. Then, they didn't even have one of the meds in stock and said they would need to call another location to get it. Ummm you could have done that 2 hours ago, nah? This pharmacy is not thoughtful. They aren't concerned about the patients needs and don't appreciate the difficulty some people have to get get here in the first place. I do my best to respect people's time. Ralphs pharmacy completely disrespected my time. They get 2 stars basically for having their lights on. Edit:one of my prescriptions that was supposed to be for 60 had 120 in it. One for 60 had 35. I will be notifying the state for audit. read more

After numerous negative experiences at the CVS Marina del Rey and new CVS Playa Vista, I am so relieved to have found this hassle-free, minimum wait pharmacy. The staff is so friendly, and they can usually fill your Rx while you shop. I typically receive a text midway into my weekly grocery trip - shocking for a Sat or Sun! I had never refilled at a grocery store before, assuming they had inconvenient hours like a bank or Post Office. I love that they are open late after work and have extensive weekend hours. After the past year of using this pharmacy, I will never go back to a drug store like CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens! read more

Everyone at this pharmacy is professional and knowledgeable. The caring and kindness is outstanding. The information provided and helpfulness when you drop of prescriptions and pick them up is unbeatable. The turn around time is always accommodating. Raji the pharmacist is always polite and patient. I really appreciate the service especially when I'm not feeling well. Dealing with insurance and doctors can be difficult, thankfully this is the easy part. I wish I could remember everyone's name behind the counter so that I could thank the assistants and associates. I have never enjoyed the people working at at a Pharmacy the way I do here at Ralph's. The ENTIRE staff are amazing. Everyone is friendly, eager to help and never it a rush. I've had a few issues with doctors and insurance and the staff here always go out of their way by returning my calls and each one has helped me with finding the most cost effective means to help get my medication. Last night I accidentally left my cell phone behind and they safeguarded it and retained it until I returned. I cannot say enough good things about this hard working and professional crew.
